Man City suffered only their 2nd home loss in the league this season in Pep Guardiola's goodbye game. They lost to Aston Villa 2-1, but obviously that loss doesn't bear any effect on Man City's league position. The resut was partially due to Aston Villa playing really well and partially due to Guardiola giving some play time to the bench players.
This win, coupled with Liverpool splitting points with Brentford (in a 1-1 draw), means Villa will retain their 4th place.

Both West Ham and Tottenham, who were fighting against relegation, won their games, which means Tottenham remains in the Premier League, while West Ham dropped to the Championship League.

I was a bit surprised to see Brighton losing that badly to Man United (3-0) at home. At this stage, Man United pretty much had nothing at stake and a loss wouldn't hurt them at all, while Brighton were fighting for Europa League spots (places 6 and 7) but all they got is a Conference League spot. Still, a pretty decent season for them.

I read he will hold a more high position in the Manchester City club now, more like one of the head dictating about their football and how they should play and also anyone else's to bring in as player or manager.

West ham were unlucky in the match, they won against Leeds today hoping Tottenham will lose, but Tottenham were lucky to get a win today, and they were able to avoid relegation this season. It’s really a sad one to see a club like west ham playing in the championship, I just hope we going to see them back in premier league soon. I wish Westham never fell to that relegation trap today. Tottenham Hotspur won narrowly by one goal and we saw how seriously Westham took their game against Leeds. I supported Westham all through and I will miss them in the premier League. The second tier football is a different world. The fight, the struggle, the hunger of many teams to return to the first tier makes the whole place so competitive. Premier league will miss Westham and I hope they get back quickly.

The exit of Pep Guardiola is one of the emotional moments,  his impacts in the premier League would never be forgotten. He won it all, he set records and he conquered the league. Now, with his exit, some coaches can take a deep breath and prepare for next season. Arsenal now has a chance to rule the premier League for the next few seasons or would Michael Carrick and Xabi Alonso have a place in the top. Next season will be exciting because we have new challengers, several of them coming to prove why they're the best replacement. The next Manchester city coach will have a lot to do to win the game love.

What so ever has a beginning surely will have an end no matter how long that thing lasts, like we all read and hear stories about how this world (the earth) began and how it will all come to an end someday, some people believe this is a myth, while some believe it as the reality of what will happen in the future, but then, one thing I think we need to generally believe is that whatever has a beginning surely will have an end.

With ten seasons for Manchester City with huge success, the legacy of Pep in the club is already recorded and will be remembered forever in history. His success is not limited to Manchester City as a single club, but also on Premier League generally and other clubs recent years. Manchester City still have many star players but the emerge of Arsenal and the departure of Pep will put Manchester City into a very unknown period ahead. It's too early to speculate that they will fall into a crisis and lose top positions in Premier League but challenge in coming seasons will be truly huge.

Manchester City suffered a loss in their final home league match. Despite leading 1-0 at halftime, Aston Villa managed to secure the victory with goals from Ollie Watkins early in the second half and 15 minutes later. Pep Guardiola thus ended his final match in charge of City with a loss. To be honest, City didn’t play badly, but I think Aston Villa managed to beat them thanks to the confidence boost from winning the European Cup.

I don't know what you were expecting from Manchester city today but as for me I was not expecting them to win Aston Villa because what is the need for the stress when they have qualified for Champions league next season and they are no longer fighting to win the league with Arsenal because Arsenal has won already so hoping on Manchester city to win will be a total waste of time. The game I was surprised at was Manchester united, they won Brighton that always gives them issue 3 null it was an amazing result and finally the premier league is over and congratulations to Tottenham Hotspur they made it out.

I think it wasn't a wanted win, like, I don't think city wanted to lose and never gave anything in the match to win, no. For me, I think they just lost, after putting in there best to win, and finally, Aston villa over powered them and won, making Arsenal to lift the trophy with. 7 points gap. I believe every manager would want to end the league with a win. Nobody would want to end with a loose, except for a team like Crystal palace that has a final to play in few days, even though they still gave in there best to win, but couldn't.

I would never advise him to take a break; competition in the Premier League is fierce, and it’s quite possible that a team might go a whole year without winning – there are simply too many strong sides.
Perhaps it would be better for him to have a change of scenery and try something new, to prove to everyone that he’s still a winning manager; I could well see him coaching in Italy alongside Pep Guardiola.

I hate goodbyes and seeing Pep Guardiola consoling the emotional Bernardo Silva gave me teary eyes. How can they make a grown man and thugman emotional?! We will miss them, Bernardo Silva has been he'll influencing during the past 9 seasons for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, we all know how important he's been and likewise consistent for them.

And Mo Salah the Egyptian King leaves after 9 years. We will miss him and his record against Manchester United.

Confident they will be back in no time, they just need to win the Championship. They could do it!

Westham United had lots of chances to escape the relegation but they failed to take them, now they are paying for their mistakes and not even that last win could redeem them from being relegated from the EPL, on the other hand, Tottenham were smart enough to bring in a new manager who came in with fresh ideas and a mission to save the club from relegation and I believe that move was what helped the North London side escape the relegation, indeed this was a move in the right direction.

I said that Manchester City will lose the game if they did not play well against Aston Villa and that happened, Pep Guardiola did not get a good farewell as he deserves because City did not win the game, he also start the game with some players that he has not been give time to play and that is a good thing for him but losing the game against Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium is not a good thing, it will be a good game if they win the game but things did not go well as they want.

Aston Villa is in good form and they are not afraid of any team, seeing them in the Champions League is something good because i believe Una Emery is going to make the team play better than this season, we have see what they have done in Champions League last season and they will do better than that last season because they have a good squad that can beat any top team.

If only Tottenham were still under Igor Tudor, I don’t think they’d be in this position now , as there’s a strong chance they’d be playing in the Championship next season. Fortunately,  the management had the courage to take decisive steps, by swiftly bringing in De Zerbi to replace Tudor, whose tenure was indeed very brief (just 44 days). I think Tottenham will carry out a thorough evaluation  because they definitely don’t want to repeat their downfall  and Roberto De Zerbi doesn’t seem keen on wasting any time either (we may soon see Tottenham embarking on a major sell off to fulfil De Zerbi’s ambitions).

If West Ham still had the same squad , they might well be back in the Premier League in no time,  but I've heard that a few players look set to leave, as West Ham are reportedly facing a financial crisis following  their relegation, so they have no choice but to sell some of their big players. If that happens , West Ham might well struggle to secure a ticket back to the Premier League.

West Ham should have beaten Newcastle United last week. Because they didn't, their win this week is meaningless. Meanwhile, Tottenham secured their place in the league with a win in their last match. They're continuing their poor performance this season, just like last year. They're making mistakes somewhere and still haven't figured it out. If they want to improve in the Premier League, they have to get the team in the best possible shape. If they experience something similar next year, the fans will revolt. West Ham is a team I'd like to see in the Premier League. I hope they can return to the Premier League next year.

It's not just about having a new coach, can the management give him to rebuild the team from the scratch? Can they have patience with the new coach? One thing I observe with English teams is lack of patience. They will appoint a coach today and expect him to start performing magic immediately without even giving him time to blend with the squad he meets before making his own contribution to the squad.

Some teams sacked their manager two or three times in a season. How on earth would you expect such teams to prosper when they are changing head coach like clothes on a regular basis? Tottenham were lucky this season but they should not expect to make a drastic improvement next season even with a new coach. They must endure patience like Arsenal and Arterta.

Being a Chelsea fan at this particular time is quite difficult, especially for the fear of banter on playing just few games a month next season,
But as we where there in the winning era we also have to be loyal in the loosing era as well that is what a true fan is, as for me I am a loyal Chelsea fan and there are times like this you have to endure and hope for the best
