RIP for Kevin Keegan . I remember when he was playing as forward, and he's also ever managed English national team. He was so damn good when he played at mercurian liverpool. Sadly, he get less credit for many of his achievement. Good bye kev, what a legend.

It is regrettable that the Ballon d'Or winner and Liverpool's top scorer has passed away. Many don't know his career, but he was an excellent player. Morgan Rogers is definitely a good players, but I don't think he is worth £117 million and I think Arsenal did the right thing to walk away from the deal. Chelsea is not an attractive club for players right now, so the best way for them to get players is by spending big, which they just did in the case of Morgan Rogers. I have read some news this morning that clarifies that even after Chelsea made the offer, Arsenal was informed about Chelsea's bid, but they choose not to match it, but rather walk away from the deal, so I don't think it'd a hijack, but Arsenal does not value the player to worth thar much, and I think they made the right decision. This just my opinion and I really wish Morgan Rogers well at Chelsea.

This is actually my first time of seeing chelsea buying a playing with such a huge amount of money, truly Morgan rogers is not worth that amount. I just hope he delivers because this amount they spent on rogers alone could get them more players if they had go for cheap offers, just as manchester united did instead of spending 85m on a single player they decided to go for players within the range of 50-44m. I have always known chelsea as a team that spend wisely but I don't know what came over them, maybe they discovered that the guy has potential. I just hope they don't regret this in the future.

I just learned from the TV that Kevin Keegan has passed away.
I am deeply saddened. In my opinion, he passed away at a very young age. He had recently—in June—been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
My condolences to English football.

What a sad day for football lovers, a day of preparation for the forth coming seasons tournament has now tuned to a bad day. He was an excellent player during his playing time and contributed heavily for his team then which his name will never be forgotten in a hurry.
Death is one thing that can never be questioned know matter how, so i we can say is for him to rest in peace. At times there are some things we see very common that may be complex when the time comes,  he should have acted fast when he learnt of this accussed cancer but no one knows tomorrow.

I was hoping this time would be different since Arsenal are the champions of England. With the purchasing power they have going into the market, I don't think attracting likes from a player should be a problem for Arsenal.

Manchester United decided to start playing their friendlies much sooner than the other clubs.
They played their first one last Saturday against Welsh Wrexham. The result was a 1-0 win for Wrexham. Man United had more scoring chances, but the game overall was rather slow and not action-packed.

There's also some conflict brewing between Man United's fans and the club around United's attempt to clamp down on touting (reselling tickets), which has led to some genuine supporters being threatened with bans:

I think you are right, because Arsenal was the team highly interested in Rogers, but surprisingly he signed for Chelsea. I don't think this is a case of Chelsea overbidding Arsenal, I think Rogers was interested in signing for Chelsea rather than Arsenal, he rejected other offers, but reaching Chelsea he accepted.

Rogers is quality and talented player, he will surely be a great signing for Chelsea next season. For Rogers to reject a team playing in the UCL, It shows that he really wants Chelsea. It certainly won't be hard for him to settle into the club, because his fellow England players to carry him along.

I think Arsenal certainly want to sign Morgan Rogers, it’s just that they aren’t prepared to pay such a high price for him. I still think that a lot of players from Man Utd have not come yet to the team and are still on vacation due to the world cup. Some players got injured as well so i think Man Utd is just testing new players or young ones,so this loss dosent hurt. Still they just started so they still have a lot of time to prepare for the season,plus when other players come to the camp i think it will be a complete different story for Man Utd. I still think they need to buy 2-3 good quality players to attack the title.

His career at Aston Villa was quite good, he's a player I've always liked. But I think this transfer fee is definitely an amount that will put pressure on the player. If he'd been transferred for 60-70 million, there wouldn't be this pressure. Now if he goes through a rough patch, the criticism will start immediately. Morgan Rogers is a young and talented player, and his performance in recent seasons was quite good; that's why the reason Chelsea signed him in a faster move. Because team Arsenal team was also willing to have Rogers but their plan was not executed due to Chelsea's fast and active decision. this also shows that Xabi Alonso is very actively and wisely working with the team so they can get the results they demand. Morgan Rogers Didn't Like arsenal thats why they sign for Chelsea and they are already a huge fan of Chelsea you can watch some of has story and the one who give us the trust of Chelsea project that's was xabi Alonso.  He is the manager which can do alot from the players they give us trust they give the confidence that's why players like Chelsea because of xabi Alonso. I thought he has a release clause as most players do anyways thanks for letting me know he does not have a release clause, i am not surprised that Chelsea over bid Arsenal because they are used to doing that. It seems Morgan Rogers knows he will have more playing opportunities if he sign for Chelsea, and i believe this is what make him prefer a move to Chelsea and snub Arsenal. Morgan Rogers can fit in to different tactics since he can be use in 3 different positions, so i agree he is a good player and he can play a big role in for Chelsea.

Foden has been playing for the club all his life, so naturally he's loved by the fans who appreciate his loyalty. But I'm not sure if he will play a crucial role in Maresca's team.

There are 4 other Man City first squad players whose contracts are expiring within the next year. These are: Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Jack Grealish and Marcus Bettinelli, so potentially some extension negotiations are going on in the background.

Before Chelsea will spend that amount of money on player, then they have properly analyzed the player’s performance, and they believe his pattern of play is definitely going to fit Alonso pattern of play also, and he will be able to improve Chelsea performance. Chelsea performance was terrible last season, but now they have a new coach which is trying to build the team, so he is trying to sign some players that will improve the teams performance. Chelsea should perform better by next season, am not expecting them to win any trophy, but they should be able to end the season in a better position.
