In my personal opinion, Liverpool can buy young players and build them up gradually, like Diomande. Or another way is to choose a winger who can contribute to goals and chances like Salah. But whoever they bring in to replace Salah, they can't put all of Salah's responsibilities on the new winger. Instead, they will probably have to try to get other attacking players to score more goals alongside the new winger. Because Salah's contribution cannot be fulfilled by one person. It may be more realistic to spread it across the entire attack.

But the current rumor points to Liverpool's interest in PSG's striker. Barcola refused to extend his contract with PSG, and of course PSG is preparing a price offer for clubs that want to recruit him.
But I think this is just the beginning, we still haven't seen a club that is really serious. Liverpool needs to get a replacement for Salah, otherwise next season their attacking strength might drop significantly.

You are right that if the Argentine player Garnacho had more playing time, he might have been able to prove himself better at Aston Villa, but we have seen that this player did not perform well for the two big clubs of the PL, Manchester United and Chelsea.
I don’t really know why Aston villa decided to sign Garnacho, because i don’t see anything special about Garnacho. He played in Manchester United and Chelsea, but the funniest part is that he didn’t play anything special in those two teams. Garnacho was given opportunity to play in some matches, he was suppose to prove to the coach that he should be given more player time, but he failed, he ended up performing poorly in matches that he played.

Since he will be playing at Aston villa by next season, and am sure he will be given playing time at Aston villa, let’s see how he will perform when the season start, I just hope he won’t make Aston villa regret why they signed him, because Garnacho is not a player I will encourage any team to sign.
Aston Villa have signed this player on loan but I think he might be able to show his former talent if given enough opportunities. Anyway it is safe to say that he has not felt like the footballer he used to be after spending a season at Chelsea as he managed to score only eight goals despite joining the club for a fee of £40 million. However, since this player has joined Aston Villa on loan for a season he might be able to show his quality performances there but we guessed if he continues to perform like Manchester United and Chelsea clubs then maybe no other team will be interested in signing him in the following PL season.

A. Taylor is deciding to retire from refereeing the football games. So we won't see him refereeing EPL games anymore. this is the news that i have been waiting for more than a decade. I was always getting pissed off with many of his unfair decision. So he no longer give weird foul.

tbh, i am seeing him as the worst referee ever owned by PL. So his retirement is well deserved not only by him, but it's also for the clubs who always getting disadvantages over any of his weird decision.

I feel so so happy with this news! Does any of you guys have same feeling like me?

If you had seen the referees in Türkiye, my friend, you would realize what a good referee A. Taylor is.
I’ve watched Taylor officiate both Premier League and Champions League matches, and he is a referee I rate highly.
He might make a wrong or poor decision, but at least we can say that was his interpretation and how he saw the situation.
Ten years isn't an exceptionally long time in refereeing, but Taylor is 47 now. Perhaps the reason for his retirement is the concern that he might not be able to perform at a high level due to his age.
There used to be an age limit of 45, but that rule was scrapped in 2014; had he wanted to, Taylor could have continued refereeing.

Is Taylor's decision to retire due to his age? Of course not. He was forced to take such a decision because he could not bear the criticism of the fans, he has refereed 831 matches by far. And if he wanted to, he could still referee, but he made such a decision considering the criticism of the fans and his own respect. Although he has faced many controversies in his career, he has never given up. When he came to the end, he realized that retirement is better than the controversy that he should retire now, then he may have made such a decision. But for me, he is the best referee because he has spent a long time refereeing. There will be criticism about him but he just did his job.

Sometimes it's discovered that we are having a wrong approach over some professional referees from their way of judgments especially when it does not favor our supported team, until we realize that they are no longer going to do the same thing they are doing and retire before we could appreciate their effort over a long time, most people are not being celebrated when they are still functional or in active service, but will definitely be missed the moment they retire from that same position

Happy retirement, Ref.
I am not very surprised but a little disappointed at the much negative comments that has being made towards the effort this referee has put into the game. His one of the most recognizable face in the game and has officiated a lot of games to build his career to this level and somehow, all that could be said about him is, how he made bad calls, controversial decisions and how the league would be much better without him.

Except for the most obvious calls, there is hardly any call in officiating that isn’t contested, that’s why you’ve got a team of staff for every team that is always on the screens reviewing every event.

Taylor did his best and it was good enough for the league.

The point is that every team has its own reason for signing a player. I know the first reason for signing a player should be their current performance, but there are also other reasons for signing a player. So, I believe that Aston Villa has a reason for bringing Garnacho to their team. The point is that Aston Villa signed Garnacho on loan with a conditional option to buy for a fee of €50 million, which I don't think is a bad deal for Aston Villa. Garnacho is not as bad as you are saying. He did not play so well at Chelsea, but he tried his best at Manchester United before his form dropped and was not that serious. It is possible that, if the season starts and he gets regular playing time, he could improve so well. We have seen players in similar situations before. Also, Aston Villa is not as big a team as Chelsea or Manchester United, and sometimes a team with less pressure allows players to shine. Garnacho situation could also be like that.

Everyone cannot be wrong about him. Anthony Taylor has some of the worst calls in the last decade in football. Just because he officiated big matches does not make him the best there is. In my opinion, referees aren’t supposed to be “recognisable”, I would argue referees who have the spotlight on them tend to be very controversial.

A. Taylor is the most hated referee in the premier league, at least that’s what you will hear if you ask Arsenal, Wolves, Chelsea,  Liverpool and AS Roma fans. Personally, I’m not going to miss Anthony Taylor, and I hope Michael Oliver retires next.

I agree with you, things need to be done to reform the team. It's not that they're bad, they're very good, but they need to be much better now. Among the things they need to improve is that they need to be more incisive in attack. I've seen a pronounced tendency to play defensively in many teams, as if they were Italian. Now, the team that dominates the most is, and should be, focused on attack.

Salah wasn't very productive last year, but Liverpool still need to find a player at least as good as him. Perhaps the Barcola transfer could alleviate this deficiency somewhat. Since he was mostly a substitute at Paris Saint-Germain, Barcola is positive about the transfer. It's likely he'll be heading to the Premier League this year. I think Liverpool is on the right track by wanting to sign him. I believe Barcola is a very talented player and would easily adapt to the Premier League.
Could this be yet another example of an African player who leaves his professional football club from a big team to a very small team. I was not expecting salah to leave Liverpool already and even though he decides to leave I did not see him going to a club like Besiktas which is a Turkish club in the city of Istanbul. Barcola’s transfer to Liverpool is not an entirely bad or strategic one to me yet until I see how he’s able to perform with the existing squad in the club before I can jump into conclusions, so let’s see how Liverpool closes the deal and bring him on.

Focusing only on the attacking side would cause them to lose a lot! Of course, they need to score more than this to fight for the league title. 63 goals was the number they scored the last time.

However we can't overlook their horrible defense... They conceded 53 goals! Can you imagine? Mostly because of this they had a really hard time winning games.

They need much better defenders. Even van Dijk has got really old so he could also be sold soon.  Tongue

I honestly thought Salah was going to Audi, I think he's much better, but I'm happy about Barcolao. This player is a recent Champions League winner. I don't know if this has anything to do with problems with Luis Enrique or if he wants to play in a much higher level league, we don't know, but he's on a champion team. It's difficult to leave a club like PSG to go to another club in one of the toughest leagues in the world. Barcolao is good.

A. Taylor is the most hated referee in the premier league, at least that’s what you will hear if you ask Arsenal, Wolves, Chelsea,  Liverpool and AS Roma fans. Personally, I’m not going to miss Anthony Taylor, and I hope Michael Oliver retires next.
From the rumors I’ve heard out there, it’s said that Taylor is a Manchester United fan. I tried to observe him on the field when he refereed a Manchester United match, and it seems there’s some truth to those rumors. So it’s no wonder fans of other teams hate Taylor so much.

This Mohammed Salah's saga is really pissing me off, sin last season they've have been talking about Mohammed Salah's exit from the club but yet haven't find his replacement it's quite annoying, but if at least they are bringing in Barcola for his replacement I must say that is a very good idea, yes I'm certain Barcola won't fail despite the fact he's most at times start from bench in the Paris Saint Germain team, I really believe he will do just fine in the English premier League because he's got the talent and I'm urging Liverpool to complete that deal he's a good replacement for Mohammed Salah.

I noticed that too, that through out last season salah was not that productive and that contributed to Liverpool was doing well from the beginning of the season end up dragging fourth position with Aston Villa and before premier League could finish last season the both teams was able ascertain their faith in the premier League table, when Liverpool finally finished with 5th position and while Aston Villa was also able to end with 4th position, Liverpool really need to plan ahead of other teams by signing up players that can really elevate the the club come next this season, surely Barcola will create an impact to the club once he has been transfer to Liverpool.

i still do not understand how Barcola is going to replace Mohammed Salah i mean these two players do not even play the same position so how is it going to replace Mo salah. Barcola is right winger in Paris Saint German while Mo Salah is left winger in Liverpool, so how is it going to replace him unless they are going to swap players. I am still wondering what Mo salah problem is  in the premier league because he did well in the World cup perhaps he is just tired of the team. Barcola is not a bad player though and i believe he will do well in the English League.

Pundits are questioning the fitness levels of Manchester United two best defenders ahead of the new season. I mean both Lisandro Martinez and the Dutch man Matthijs De Ligt.
I believe Manchester United management should be investing in a new defender because I do not trust Harry Maguire completely as a result of his lack of pace. Leny Yoro and Heaven are both young lads set for greatness but can Michael Carrick count on their inconsistency?

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso recently approved the signature of Dani Wellbeck from Brighton. With this update it means between players like Liam Delap and Nicholas Jackson most likely to leave.
