Another terrible day for Manchester United at Old Trafford,  before now i believed and trusted in Michael carricks intelligence and believed they will win without knowing the opposite is what will surface at last.
It is completely obvious that  at some points all will believe Michael Carrick deserves to work on his team because I see no reason why they will loss to a weaker side as Bournemouth in a most win game. With today's result I think this present team of Manchester United cannot do what is expected from them this season.

Perhaps most responsible people or fans want Michael Carrick to be sacked while some say he needs to be given more time as he has not been appointed as head coach for a long time. If given more time maybe he can take the team to a better position but that may not be possible. If he cannot take the team to a better level then giving him time is probably a waste of time, maybe the team officials should work on appointing a better manager.

After the 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth there should be no more excuses although some may say Manchester United performed well and were aggressive by keeping the ball in their possession for most of the match. But in reality the team didn't score any goals this is the team's failure as well as Carrick's.
For a club like Manchester United, simply keeping possession of the ball or trying to attack is not enough. I completely agree with this view and that effort should be converted into goals and victories. But despite the fact that a team has the entire responsibility, that is, the power to make all kinds of small and big decisions, if a reputed team fails to achieve its goals or loses, then the responsibility should not be given to a single person only, but all the decision-makers have to take this responsibility and the players also have some responsibility. Removing the coach or manager may change some aspects of the game, but to snatch victory, the performance of the players, collective effort, concentration, everything has to come together to succeed.

There is always a discussion going on about Man United no matter whether they are winning or losing, which clearly tells that they have huge fan community. Man United players still have time to play well to satisfy their fans that are always behind their club.

Do you honestly believe changing of coach will solve the issue? Although, I think Carrick isn't competent enough, but he isn't the only problem. I've said this in a previous post: Ronaldo actually pointed out to some issues plaguing ManU, and it is not just about the coach. He said something in the lines of: poor training equipment, poor players management, poor facilities etc—I believe ManU should've handled most of those complaints by now.

I think carefully looking at these sectors might probably change things a little, and not just changing the coach.

but coaches are afraid of benching him for these players and that’s why the problem keeps growing. This Manchester United team need a coach that can not tolerate such act, so that they can have good game play without favoring any player, let them set their team based on form, the best player at the training should start a match.
Well, in the end, Bruno seems special to managers who believe their teams have to depend on one player. Any team that continues to rely too heavily on a single player will keep struggling to win major trophies. Sometimes I wonder if the management could be interfering by demanding that managers keep Bruno in the starting XI for every match because they see him as a highly creative player who can create chances. But in reality, he could also become an obstacle to the team's success.

We can take Mbappe's time at PSG as an example. The club kept failing to win the UCL while he was there. After he left, PSG became a more solid team and went on to achieve better results. So perhaps United should look at what happened at other clubs and learn from those real examples.

When I saw what you posted by quoting Oshosondy, I went to the premier league table to verify it and you are very right. Manchester United is on the 16th period which is closer to 18th position of the relegation zone. Tottenham was there recently but made it up. I think Manchester United will still play better later but the clubs players have a lot of work to do and improve.

Manchester United is in a total mess this time around and we all thought this will be the year they fight for the premier league after finishing off last season on a high. Now what could be the challenge? What worked last season that isn’t working now? Have the players performance dropped or are the other teams now playing better?

Back to back losses doesn’t look good on Man United and especially Michael Carrick. Maybe they could have just left him as interim manager, I think there was also someone who was doing well on interim basis but as soon as they were made head coach, all the tactics and the luck disappeared.

I feel so much  for Manchester United, the problems persists.

Bournemouth have not had quite a good start to the season but they beat Manchester United 3-0 at home and keeping a clean sheet, what else is left for United? Bournemouth did not play as much to win with such difference, United lacked the attacking influence and most players did not put in their best effort to fight for a win.

There is a reason why a "team" is called a team, Manchester united is not playing as a team and that explains the final result. I would also expect a loss in their next game against Chelsea and soon after a sack for Michael Carrick, the whole team needs an overhaul with the right mindset.

I myself think that Manchester United has a huge number of fans. I also like that team as they has some of my favourite player . But this season, their inefficient performance and constant defeats have disappointed the audience. I do not expect a good performance from them this season. We consider Bournemouth as a relatively weak team. And they lost to this team by 3 goals. Such a situation can never be expected from Manchester United. Maybe they are not lucky this season. Manchester United is not able to move forward in any way. But even if it takes them some time, they will have to get into a better position overall in terms of performance, in terms of the team. Because it is really difficult to accept that the condition of a good quality team has become so weak.

Absolutely correct. It's something we can not deny. Manchester United is the most talk about club irrespective of performance whether win or lose. It's something I have also observed in this thread, they get more attention than the teams that are even playing well at the moment but that should not be surprising because Manchester united is of course the club with the highest number of fan base in England.

Manchester United have gotten the name and popularity, the achievements are also there and that's why people expect so much from them. I do usually expect Manchester united to bounce back in every game week to prove that they are getting better but it seems the opposite is the case. It would be huge surprise to see Manchester United playing in the championship. I hope things should not get that bad for them.

This season marks man U's worst start since the last 40 years, Carrick let his guts down for a team that counted on him so much, I enjoyed to see him climb to the third position last season. This time? I don't think Man U as a team can make it work out again under Carrick.

You put so many hope for Carrick while he never have had good journey with Manchester United. he might be helping club to finish at UCL spot, but it's all due to the luck. So here we are seeing his club to always losing in any of their competitions. I think defending him will never work when the club is obviously sacking him soon.

I'm here waiting for an official announcement by Manchester United about his sack. People might be complaining about the ownership fault, but it doesn't work. The fact all of responsibility will always be centered to the coach of the club.

When a club deliver nothing, his fate is obvious to go out from the club. I read some news merchants said that an urgent talk between United owners have been held, and they are hunting a potential replacement for Carrick, which may be going for Howe(i forget if he's obless as well).

I think we MU's next game in UCL has to be the last lives of Carrick to defend his job. Look at those horrible results above, it's hard to defend him when his teams playing like a 2nd tier league club.

He will be gone before summer window to be opened.

In as much as I believe anything is possible in football, I don't think or believe there is a possibility that Michael Carrick can restore the team back or revive them because the loophole is much and I guess the best thing the team can do will be to sack him because he is of no use to the team and I won't be surprise to see them lose their next game regardless of who they are playing against,  Manchester united performance is so poor right now and if they don't take action now it will be late for them.

Michael Carrick was appointed as Manchester United's interim manager in January this year and was appointed head coach in May for a two-year term, but the board probably never imagined that he would lead the team to such a bad position. I personally cannot accept the 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth in the last match. The team also lost to Como by a large goal difference in the previous match, although it was a Champions League match. Nevertheless, such a poor performance by the team is a shame for the United authorities.

Manchester United was in third place in the table after winning 20 of its 38 Premier League matches last season, but looking at the team's position in the current period, any disappointment will be expressed as the team has won only 1 match in 8 matches and is in 16th place in the table.

Discussions about a club doesn't only come from its fans, it can also come from rival fans celebrating their loss. Manchester United is playing very poorly. This isn't normal anymore. From the way they've played repeatedly, it's looking obvious they want catch relieved of his duties. The lack of interest to do better among the players doesn't look natural to me anymore. If Bournemouth can win Manchester United that effortlessly, then their situation has grown worse than it seems all along.

This season marks man U's worst start since the last 40 years, Carrick let his guts down for a team that counted on him so much, I enjoyed to see him climb to the third position last season. This time? I don't think Man U as a team can make it work out again under Carrick.

It doesn't seem possible to do well with Michael Carrick anymore, because it's been a long time and their performance has not improved, and at the same time they are losing consistently. If Michael Carrick could really improve, it would have happened earlier, but over time, their performance has only deteriorated more, but there is no improvement, if it continues like this, I don't think they will be able to secure a good position by the end of the season, and if their style of play does not improve, they may even lose their chance in the Champions League next season, because their position is 16th in the current point table. Although there have only been 8 matches so far and there are still 30 matches left, they cannot sit still because there are many more matches left, because Manchester United's performance is currently worse than expected, and if the current performance continues, they will continue to lose more points, so now they need to take the next step to improve the team as soon as possible,

They would have left him as the interim coach instead of making him a head coach, that loss against Como was so annoying, Rooney poured his hearts out over this poor performance, he thinks Man United players are selfish, and full of themselves. They listen to nobody but themselves, he said. Looking at the club the dressing room culture is under torture, and for a long time the boys will suffer more losses moving on this same pace.

There is no denying that the result was an embarrassing one, they might lose to Bournemouth, but at least they shouldn't concede three goals or allow their opponents to keep a clean sheet.

With only one win in eight games, this is something that would have been unimaginable for a team as big as Manchester United. That record is what has left them hovering near the relegation zone for now, just one or two points ahead of Nottingham Forest, Coventry & Sunderland.

Next in the league, they will face Chelsea, certainly not an easy opponent, is it?

If they get another bad result, we will almost certainly see Manchester United in the relegation zone, there is no denying it.

Exactly my point of view on this Manchester United current situation, I really think each and everyone in that club is the problem affecting them, Cristiano Ronaldo tried reviling the secret but he was labeled a bad egg to the team that results to his dismissal from the team, and ever since he left nothing has changed and they fans seem to be adamant of it, not just Cristiano Ronaldo, many of the players that played at Manchester united said same thing coaches said it, and nothing has be done ever then, to me Manchester United will still linger unless they sort this major problem, if they like they should bring Pep he will still fail.

Matchday 8 has just over. Three team in top 5 have been defeated. City faced their first defeat of this season against Aston villa at home, even though city tried their absolute best for win.

Brighton vs Liverpool was most competitive match of this week. Liverpool managed to win that. Due to a strong opponent, they played very carefully. Brighton's players made numerous attack but they could not find the back of the net.

Most frustrating two  match were those of United and Chelsea. Blues lost against Tottenham, and Red Devils lost against Bournemouth. No possibility of improvement is visible in United's performance. Day by day, their performance is declining. Other hand, after winning two match, I witnessed poor performance from The Blues once again.

Just like that, Michael Carrick is going to be sucked, and Manchester United will be back to a new cycle all over again.

Giving him time to build his own team is absolutely the best idea, but again, most fans nor the management seems to have the patience to endure long term suffering during the stages of rebuilding, knowing fully that it's almost difficult to come into the premier league and dominate for long. I believe Arne Slot's story is actually a typical explanation of how complex the league is. Building a team is just something a manager can't skip, and it takes a lot of time to figure it out.
I think so too, because it is difficult to find a permanent solution to the problems that Manchester United are trying to solve by changing managers repeatedly. The management should give Carrick time to implement his plan. But at the same time, they should also consider how much the team improves on the field after giving him time.In the Bournemouth match, they had possession for most of the time and took 17 shots. However, they still created fewer quality goalscoring chances than their opponents.
