It's unfortunate that Man united thought that the source of their long time problem is the fault of their coach forgetting that Man united don't have to compete in the league,

Manchester United will be making a very big mistake sacking Michael Carrick at this point,  because their problem is not the manager. I have said it several times that Manchester United have a lot of average players and the board are not doing anything to change it. Manchester needs to trust Michael Carrick and also give him the support he needs to rebuild the team.  I think Michael Carrick has a lot of potential,  but the board is not helping him, by signing good players that can help his project.

If a club is unsuccessful, the manager is not the sole person responsible. While the manager certainly plays a part in such a situation, the squad of players also bears responsibility. Fans have very high expectations for Manchester United, but the team lacks the roster to meet those expectations. This must be acknowledged, as the current squad is simply not as strong as those the club once had.

Sometimes, it is necessary to give managers time, though the team might even regress further during that period. In such cases, what truly matters is whether the manager is capable of taking actions that will actually influence the results.

I also do not want his to be sacked but to be given more time but I don’t think the team has average players that’s making they to perform like this. Manchester United players are just yet to blend and this issue is from both the managers and the players in the team.

Micheal Carrick showed a great performance for the team last season and everyone is expecting the replica of last season. It is not too late for that to happen but he still needs to act fast as he can in order to stand a very good chance at the competition going forward before it gets too late.

The problem within that Manchester United stadium and the entire club is far beyond just players and coaches, I think it solely relies on the owner which are the INEOS company owned by Jim ratcliffe and the number major share holders who are the Glazer family, I think this two entities are the ones that are posing a major damage and disaster that is befalling the club at the moment especially with this new ownership of billionaire Jim, the man single handedly decides players to be bought and how the coach oversee his operation which is something that gonna dent the full performance of the coach of the club.

EFL (or Curabao) Cup is not a priority for Arsenal, but still, getting eliminated by league 2 Fleetwood (currently 18th in the table) as a bit of an embarrassment.

Just imagine, they have sacked several coaches over the years, yet they find themselves remain in same situation. Rather, they ought to look into their own problems and try new approaches, perhaps by signing new players, as you suggested. That might actually help them achieve their desired results.

Look at their last five coaches, none them have a similar style of playing or philosophy! Each comes with their playing style, players try to adapt and execute, doesn’t work out and then they sign another manager with another style and cycle keeps going on and on. Look at who city replaced pep with! There’s something wrong with this club at the top, if it doesn’t change, I don’t see united going back being one of the biggest club in club football!

I really like what he says about philosophy and playing style it's completely true, and I won't deny that. Every coach arrives trying to impose their own ideas, philosophy, and style, but I'm certain Carrick's philosophy isn't about letting the midfield go to sleep. On the contrary, it's about being more dynamic.

I think Bruno is unhappy or something along those lines; I just don't see him motivated. He's not the Bruno who used to perform for Portugal without CR7... and now he has no excuses, because CR7 isn't even there anymore. Furthermore, it's very noticeable that in every VAR review or broadcast, the focus is constantly on him, it's not enough that he's an icon for MU.

For me, Carrick is doing what he can. He's fully aware that he doesn't have the ideal squad and has to work with what's available. Just a few weeks ago I was discussing with friends that Carrick has become the head coach of Manchester United and has at least improved the team's defense. His team has drawn most of the matches against the opposition. But Carrick's team has failed to maintain a strong defensive position as they lost by a large goal difference in the last match. United also lost 4-1 against Como in the UCL match. The team is performing to the disappointment of the fans. The club needs to find out which of the many problems is the root and solve it but I think the board spending more time on Carrick means supporting him while the fans want him fired.

Signing new players adds insults to the sustained injury, Ralf Rangnick, said Man U needs an open heart surgery, and he's right about that. The managerial bodies leading Man U are corporate executives, they know nothing about football. Ever since the absence of Ferguson, the susbsequent coaches hired to govern the players weren't adhering to the playing style of the club; Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole Gunner, Ten Hag and Amorim all came with a different style from what the boys played.

First thing for Man U to do is take out all executives from making sporting decisions, and begin by employing the best football minds to fill up this gap, then set up a new playing style, and focus on signing players and coaches who are proficient in playing such patterns.

The internal problems are not even all that internal. One could literally see that the owners I mean, the Glazers are completely taking the club backwards. Exactly, Carrick don't seem to be Manchester United problem right now. This man used this same players when Amorim was sacked and made top four last season, which fans was saying if he started at the beginning of the season he would done more than this. The management need to look into this matter and reason wirh Carrick on how to sort the issue out, just as you said they need to add more qualities players who's ready at all time, sacking Carrick can still cause more problems to their players trying to adapt to the new coach. Let them give Carrick more time i believe he'll sort things out.

Let’s agree that Carrick is not their problem at this point, but isn’t this the same squad he used to succeed in the Premier League last season? What happened to the squad we saw under him last season? Or we are going to conclude that Casemiro was the only player helping the team last season? Micheal Carrick can also do better to improve the squad, we can’t just put the blame on the board for now, Carrick must find a way to manage the squad available to win their games.

Even if a top manager like Guardiola is appointed as Manchester United’s manager, I don’t think the team will improve better than this. The club owners do not understand how to do business when it comes to transfers window. The reason I blame Carrick for their current situation is that he is working with the same players he had last season. With this team, we beat Manchester City and Chelsea home and away and other big clubs in the Premier League. Mbuemo and Cunah are not creating chances like they did last season.
