It's unfortunate that Man united thought that the source of their long time problem is the fault of their coach forgetting that Man united don't have to compete in the league,

Manchester United will be making a very big mistake sacking Michael Carrick at this point,  because their problem is not the manager. I have said it several times that Manchester United have a lot of average players and the board are not doing anything to change it. Manchester needs to trust Michael Carrick and also give him the support he needs to rebuild the team.  I think Michael Carrick has a lot of potential,  but the board is not helping him, by signing good players that can help his project.

Even if a top manager like Guardiola is appointed as Manchester United’s manager, I don’t think the team will improve better than this. The club owners do not understand how to do business when it comes to transfers window. The reason I blame Carrick for their current situation is that he is working with the same players he had last season. With this team, we beat Manchester City and Chelsea home and away and other big clubs in the Premier League. Mbuemo and Cunah are not creating chances like they did last season.

Looking at some of Manchester United's long-standing problems, it is clear that changing the coach is not the answer. The team has not shown the expected consistency under multiple managers. So I think a review of the club's management and player selection issues could be more effective. Speaking of Guardiola, he is a fairly reputable manager. But until he takes charge, it is difficult to conclude that United will not improve even if Guardiola comes as coach. You may not know what kind of performance he will be able to get from the players after taking charge. Carrick took United to third place last season, but the situation of the same club is completely different this season. Therefore, it is difficult to say until he takes charge.

My question now is, what does average players has to do with playing 8-9 matches in a row without winning a single one? The teams that are winning some of their game is all their players stars? Don't they have average players? So the issue of average should be put aside for now because there is nothing like having average players, these players were doing great before they came to Manchester united, if you think that is the problem then they should sell all the players ( total overhaul) yet, I still don't think it is about having average players because they are not the only team with average players.

I believe that Manchester United problem isn't because of bad coach. They have sacked at least three coaches before Michael Carrick came to United and yet the problem is still there. I don't think sacking Micheal Carrick will solve Manchester United problem or improve the team performance since it is obvious the club has been struggling before he came. The management of the club needs to look focused on how to improve team performance and to recruit quality players. If the main cause of the team poor performance isn't identified, getting a new manager won't improve the team performance. The club may even be worse off.

This idea of constantly looking up to the transfer window before they get back to full consistency is why Manchester United is not doing perfectly well all this while, other teams like Barcelona, Chelsea and the rest do not depend on the transfer window before maintaining full consistency rather they find all possible means of working on themselves by introducing young and determined players into their squad when ever the need araise.
On this i think Michael carrick need to go back to his drawing board their alone can the reason behind their lack of consistency be identified and then solve the problem if that is not done, i don't think United can do better anytime soon.

All I know is that even if Manchester United sack Carrick, and they bring in another coach, I don’t think their performance is really going to change, because they are not fixing the main problem. Manchester United should just give Carrick some time, and they shouldn’t be in rush to sack him. If Manchester United end up sacking Carrick, they might regret at the end, because their new coach might even be worst.

That’s just the most surprising thing, what’s wrong with Manchester United this season, after Carrick joined the team everything changed, Manchester United were at the middle of the table before carrick came, and Manchester United were able to end the season in 3rd position after Carrick joined, but everything is completely different this season, Manchester United performance has been terrible.

I don't think it's right for Manchester United owners to decide for the coach who they will sign, maybe it could be where Manchester United problem is coming from. If you check this season Manchester United didn't sign any better players probably they thought that since Carrick did well last season that he can still use those same players to perform even better this season but they never knew this will be their worse decision. The team problem is not just from the coach but since they thought that Carrick is the problem let see who they are bringing in as a coach will do.

I'm yet to understand why why Manchester United fans are giving up on there club because of their recent performance this season, this same thing happened last which led to Ruben Amorim sacked because people concluded that if Amorim continued he might religate Manchester United to championship. Manchester United management should allow Michael Carrick to do his job , i strongly believe that Carrick will win trophy for Manchester United. They should used Mike Arteta as an example when Arsenal where unable to qualify for champions league for 2 seasons, now Arteta has build Arsenal to the level that they keep playing champions every season. Let other clubs learn how to be patient with their coaches, Carrick will still qualify Manchester United to champions league next season.

Carrick has not yet achieved fully satisfactory results with Manchester United this year. Last year’s successes were meant to serve as a roadmap for this season, but things haven’t unfolded as hoped. In truth, the manager isn’t the primary issue the board failed to execute the desired transfers and didn’t assemble a squad strong enough, even though the team qualified for the Champions League. I believe that even if Carrick were to be dismissed, his successor wouldn’t be able to make a significant difference. Well it your opinion. I don’t know if you are a Manchester United fan, if you are not then just know no fan will be comfortable or less concerned if their club have just win from the beginning of season. There 2 wins have come in a premier league game against Ipswich and a champions league against Sabath. These fans have the right to call for Carrick sack, they have had enough.

If something doesn’t change and I mean results then Carrick will get that sack real soon. Several coaches have already been shortlisted about his possible replacement. This is not what they expect to get this season, not after that brilliant last season.

Carrick performed his duties well last season, and he did so with a squad built by the previous manager. Strangely enough, though, now that he has a roster with several players he has hand picked for the team, their performances have turned out to be so poor .... so it is justified that some people blame Carrick for this decline, as he is seen as having failed to make Man United better than they were before.

However, I think it’s a bit unfair to assume that all the mistakes were down to Carrick alone, because although Man United were quite active in the transfer window at the start of the season, Carrick couldn’t sign players as he pleased (the management turned down high priced players because they considered it a waste of money). So you could say that most of those new players aren’t the main targets, and perhaps this is why Man United are having such a hard time improving even further

Well it your opinion.
