Even though they haven't scored much, Arsenal is currently the team that has conceded the least. Arsenal has only scored 14 goals in 9 matches, but Man City has already scored 20 goals. Surprisingly, Brighton has already scored 24 goals in 9 matches.

This was why I was so confidence that Arsenal can survive it because of their defense line, immediately they scored I was having hope for them because they are very good and currently they have a better performance than Liverpool. This match is very important for Arsenal and also for Liverpool because among them  any team that win will take over from the team at the top, arsenal won the match and now they are ahead of Manchester City, the season is still long but if Arsenal can be able to stand firmly they can still win the Premier League again. I don't see any team that have Arsenal strength now except Manchester City and now they are also declining.

Perhaps, you are a Man united fan and that's fine but if I may ask, on what ground are you still referring to Manchester united as a top club right now? Are referring to them as a top club based on the number of matches they have lost this season or what?

Let face reality for once instead of bursting with past glories. This is not longer the Manchester united that you previously know. You guys can not continue to make us rely on their past achievements to consider them a top club. When last did they won any trophy? What's their position on the table? The team's performance may change as they go through the season in different competitions. So far Arsenal look stronger than all the other teams, the performance is good and they are among the favourites to win the title. But just like you, I still believe that teams like Manchester City are very likely to be the most serious contenders throughout the season and Arsenal should not be let off guard if they want to continue to maintain their status.

Arsenal's points lead at the moment is not much, so I think Manchester City can still make amends for its mistakes to get back on track. The 3-point gap is certainly not a safe position for Arsenal, so I think they certainly understand what should be done every game.

Now it seems like the season has started because the performance of each team is showing and which team is strong and which team is consistent etc. everything is slowly starting to show. We have seen City in a consistent position from the beginning and so far they have been exactly the same but their performance has deteriorated a lot in the last two matches and they have lost both matches. Arsenal's next match is against Hull City and I will definitely put Arsenal on the list of winners by a big margin. Arsenal are in great form and Arsenal are at the top of the points table. Right now their aim is to win all the matches and increase the points difference.

Arsenal did a very good job today. They had a very good defense and that was why they were able to win this match.
Liverpool on the other hand actually did very well, but they did not have any shot on target and that was an embarrassing thing for them because the match was played at their home.

Seriously, I did not expect this kind of result from Arsenal today against Liverpool. Visiting Liverpool at Anfield, scoring an early goal, and still managing to defend that one goal lead is impressive. Seriously, Arsenal's defensive line was so crazy today, And the funny part is that they did not even have a shot on target at Anfield.I did not expect Arsenal to be able to win this match because it has been a very long time since Arsenal last had the opportunity to win Liverpool at Anfield. So, my belief was that even if Arsenal tried harder, the best result they could get would be a draw. But surprisingly, they collected all three points from Liverpool today. That is a very good job from Arsenal! Now, they are back at the top of the table.

I think we should look at the current performance of our team instead of just looking at the history of past matches. Liverpool have won 7 out of 15 matches against Arsenal. But at the moment their performance is not improving. They are not being consistent. On the other hand, Arsenal's defense is very strong this season. We have seen before that if Arsenal can somehow go ahead by one goal, their defense becomes difficult to break down. Liverpool attacked very well in the match, they took more than 13 shots, 2 of which were on target. But in the end, they lost the match. Arsenal are much more consistent than Liverpool which is why they won this match. I think Liverpool have to be more serious, otherwise they will not improve.

I don't know if it is coincidence but Arsenal hasn't lost a game this season wearing their yellow away jersey. Liverpool did their best to get back in the game but the ran out of luck. There lots of good opportunities from both sides with Liverpool creating most of the attacks. Arsenal isn't completely undefeatable like Brighton they will face other strong opponents that will test their true strength. One match I closely anticipate now is Arsenal Vs Man City coming up this month . Their true strength will be tested there.

Manchester city doesn't have two back to back defeat, they won Brighton in the Caraboa cup maybe you didn't watch the game to the end but Brighton defeated them in the premier league last week and honestly it appears Brighton has seen Manchester city weak point because they almost win them in Caraboa cup too. They are currently at the 2 position in the premier league with 3 points behind Arsenal but  the 3 points it's like nothing if Manchester city mean business, haven't you seen where Arsenal was almost 12 points ahead of Manchester city but Manchester city won the league that season though they actually need to be serious.

This goes to show that, in order to lead the league, what matters is winning matches rather than simply scoring a high number of goals. Arsenal vs manchester city is another interesting match to look up to this season maybe from there we can know which team that might likely win the trophy, i agree with you that manchester city has to work harder if they want to win the league title because losing against Brighton shows that they need to improve more.

Arsenal seems to be more consistent again but their problem always come towards the end of season this almost cost them the title last season but if they can keep with this energy they might win the title again.

This arsenal team is very disciplined, especially defensively. To leave Liverpool without a shot on target at Anfield is unbelievable, it the first time Liverpool have failed to have a shot on target at Anfield in the history of the club.

Arsenal still look like a team that will still win the premier league again this season, these are the type of defense that win you the league. We saw it last season, how this defense won the league for them and they are doing it again this season. I think it now 5 or 6 clean sheet for them in 9 games.

Arsenal has went top after Man city lost to Brighton and Arsenal took the chance to win Liverpool and went top, i believe if it was under Pep Guardiola Man city wouldn't have allow Arsenal to go top when they are already at the top, this is the interesting part of the league anyway it's only in famers league that one club will continue to be at top of the table. It's possible that Arsenal won't be at the top till the end either Man city or any other club will eventually go top one day because that is now the English premier league is, from clubs performance Arsenal and Man city are still the favorites to win the premier league title this season.

Why talk about the past, what actions Manchester united should take to avoid religation is what we should be talking about,

Manchester united losses at this moment are so consistent that them getting religated wouldn't be surprising. About carrick I think they still have to give him a chance at least to get new players and make some filtration let's see how this mid season will be before they make any conclusion on sacking him.

It's difficult to predict the exact outcome of that game, but I doubt if Arsenal would lose to City at the Emirates. We've already seen a glimpse of what to expect specifically from their last meeting in the FA Community shield. For some reason, Arsenal seem to enjoy playing better against good attacking teams that likes throwing all players at them, and that's why I believe that game is going to be a good one.


And as for City lately, well, it's quite understandable because both Aston Villa and Brighton are not that easy teams to play against. Arsenal had a tough fight against Villa just to secure all 3 points, but couldn't even figure things out against Brighton... So, it's quite understandable why City struggled against both teams.

To be honest, I'm very disappointed with Manchester United players after with their last match against Chelsea. Right now i  don't want to hear any Manchester United complaining about Michael Carrick, that man has nothing to do with Manchester United problem of not winning matches. Manchester United players played Chelsea ball in first half, but they missed used their chances, the one that surprised me most was bruno fernandes own he also missed used the opportunity for Manchester United yo be leading in Chelsea. If they used those chances during the first half Chelsea players would have been struggling to score at the second half but they'll messed up. Among the goals Chelsea scored the one that annoyed me must was Rogers goal, imagine those 3 players could not hold Rogers till he got into the box and scored, i guess all Manchester United fans saw those defenders that allowed from outside 18 till he got in and scored? Later you guys will be shouting that Carrick should get sacked. For now no one should talk about Carrick been sack he has nothing with Manchester United problem.

I was watching the match with great interest because I personally like Arsenal's game even though I am not a fan of theirs.

What happened next naturally Liverpool started to press for a goal but Arsenal's defense was unwavering and incredibly strong. Despite taking 18 shots in the whole match, Liverpool managed to put only 4 on target but failed to score any. You are right that if Arsenal's defense was not strong, the team might have lost because Liverpool are strong at home.

I think arsenal’s defense sometimes is somewhat underrated, I mean we talk about it a lot but I think we don’t forget how awful it is to breakthrough their defense, I’m sure both players and managers don’t like facing them. I don’t remember which coach or manager said this, “attackers win you games while defense wins you titles”. This arsenal team is going places, we see PSG as champion league favorites but we might just be writing this arsenal team off, I get that they struggled a lot before they won the league and always bottled when it mattered the most except for last season but let’s not forget that they got the final too and only lost in penalties, you can say that they are the bane of this current PSG team.

I think they played fairly well in the first half and that was a result of a good coaching by Michael carrick but going into the second half, I think the players let him down honestly. The players don’t respect him enough and he’s performances has been so bad that’s it’s affecting his authority in the locker room. Let’s not forget the sabotager Lisandro Martinez, that was useless yesterday, your team just conceded Instead of you to find a way to calm things down and try to keep the game going, you decided to do such a dangerous tackle in the box, such a poor mentality and judge of atmosphere. Carrick couldn’t even look him in the eye after he was sent off, it was disgusting to watch!
