I don't get, Manchester City has never gone unbeaten, they are and have always been a team with more wins and minimal losses, Manchester City still remains one of the Best teams in the primer league but that doesn't mean they will escape losses, losses are always expected but the goal is to make it as minimal as possible.
You are very right. It's not that Manchester City cannot be beaten, but they have built a team that is beat consistenly. This is what helped them remain the best team in Premier League, as they continue to maintain a high level of performance. Other teams should also learn from their consistency rather than having more losses than wins, especially Manchester United, who have lost their consistency, resulting in frequent defeats. But if they change their statics, and restore that consistency, it will go a long way to improve their performance.

It is funny how some of us are seeing this premier league, premier league is not longer the way it used to be back then where a team like Manchester city would keep unbeaten record for almost one complete season.

There is no team that is going to last long for 38 games and have no loss, not even Arsenal has been able to do it. There is something I will like you to understand how Arsenal do come out of every bad situation and win their game, that's because they know how to share the loss and the game they won, they draw more than they win to what Manchester City do get towards every season, this is how Arsenal was able to win the last season ahead of them. If by the end of the season Manchester City takes more loss instead of using the privilege to draw some matches, they will have less chance of winning the League or better still they should find a way to balance between their games and win many games as possible to remain at the top of the league else every week they play gives them less chance of winning the League.

In EPL, every team play 38 matches and its very difficult to remain unbeaten in all 38 matches because EPL is one of finest league in the world and every team here has the ability to beat other team. Man City was unbeaten for seven straight weeks but that winning streak is finally broken by Aston Villa and now City is at second position. I am now interested to see how Brighton will play their next games because now they have a chance to grab second position on points table.

Going unbeaten in 38 matches in EPL is very challenging for every team as it may be seen by everyone that this Premier League is full of competition, we all may have seen the English Premier League last season where Arsenal were unstoppable but still they lost five matches that season. Similarly Manchester City were unbeaten at the start of this season but it seems to have surprised everyone that they were beaten by Aston Villa, so it proved that every team in this league has the ability to beat the other team. Honestly it's correct Brighton has become a great team so like you I feel they have a chance to take second place in the Premier League points table mainly because they narrowed their points gap with Manchester City by beating Manchester City 1/0 this season.

Whenever it is about Manchester city and there performance this season, I will always give them credit, because I wasn't expecting them to be actively involved this season considering that they changed there coach and also sold some of there major players. I must hail Enzo Maresca for his ability to keep the team running and going all this while. It's normal for teams to lose matches. It happens. Only Arsenal that miraculously did that. The invisibles in 2004 when they last lifted the premier league trophy before they won this season. It is not easy to achieve such fit. City have been leaders in England with several records. There performance isn't bad at all and I must hail there efforts all this while.

One of the reason I like arsenal games is the winning mindset that they have because they start the game with the mind that they want to win you so at the end of the day they put in all there best and by so doing they end up winning and if not at most the games end up being draw so that strategy in the last season and even in this season has always been helpful to the arsenal team making them have more wins than draw and just a few loses if at all. This there consistent pattern has being making there game interesting to watch for and also to bet because for a while now they have been reliable and consistently making there games interesting. So like you mentioned no team can actually go unbeaten all through the season no mater how good there must one or two loses because in the game of football you also should be able to accommodate loses.

Like, even if Manchester City losses one or two matches doesn't mean they are not one of the best team in Premier League. Like history has shown it countless times. When it comes to football, nobody can escape defeat, It's a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But what makes them one of the best team in the world and not just Premier League is because their wins outshine their losses. History has shown how they've kept unbeaten record countless times.

Yes, and that's why just because Manchester City lost against Brighton doesn't mean they can't do well in the league. Manchester City are still in second place in the table, they haven't gone too far down, and so I still expect good things from them. Arsenal won't win consistently either, they will lose points too, but in the end the point is to survive and try to maintain the continuity of points even if they lose points occasionally. Anyway, there is still a lot of time in the league, and a lot can change in the meantime, and Manchester City is also one of the possible teams for the title, Manchester City have lost last two matches in a row in the Premier League, but in the coming matches they will definitely start to return to winning ways, and then they will be able to go to the top again.

It is funny how some of us are seeing this premier league, premier league is not longer the way it used to be back then where a team like Manchester city would keep unbeaten record for almost one complete season. Of course those teams that seem like underdog teams back then has improved a lot, of which Brighton is one of this teams that made a lot of improvement over the years. And it was as though this season is one of the best season for them because they have been doing very well in almost all their matches both inside and outside premier league. So with the way they have performed I wasn't surprised to see them wining Manchester city.
The premier league has changed long before now, if you are just noticing it now because Manchester City is not maintaining winning streak for almost one complete season that means that you do not know the premier league very well. Plenty of teams in the premier league are not playing the way they used to play, teams that used to competitive for the league title and win it are now struggling to finish in top four, while teams that their ambition is to overcome relegation are competing to finish in top four, this alone is enough prove that the premier league has changed.

You don't get it,I never Said Manchester city has gone unbeaten I'm referring to past seasons and I used the word "almost " you're too fast in replying that is why you skipped it. Of course Manchester city is one of the best team in the world which I didn't dispute with you on that, but the fact that people are complaining why they would loss against Brighton is what brought this argument and I love the fact that you realized that no matter how good a team performance seem to be that they can't escape losses, of course you're actually saying the truth. not that they are in a Long Lossing streak it's just once so we are not supposed to be complaining about it knowing fully well that Lossing is very certain in football.

That is how strong the defense of Arsenal is they can do and undo. The only challenge I see Arsenal having is when it comes to our attack if that can be worked on or even improved, then everything will be balanced.

It's a difficult feat to hold and only Arsenal have done that in the EPL. Though there are other means of dropping points which is by getting a draw. Both are something that wil likely happen in the match fixtures, what matter is to reduce the numbers to most minimal in order to win the league which City us not far off. Brighton will do well and I expect to make top 6 if they continue well.

Why do you think it's the team that is the problem? Don't you think other teams are getting better? Don't you think the league is getting more competitive? Watch the champions league and get to see how teams we regard to as small clubs in the primer league is trashing other leagues teams with crazy goal difference. Manchester City needs to do better, but at the same time you don't expect them to be on a winning streak with the way teams has gotten better in the EPL

I personally don't fancy whatever Brighton is currently doing in the premier league at the moment because we've seen time and time again that the English premier league is a marathon, and it takes a lot to finish well. It's much easier to start well, but finishing well becomes a bigger tasks. They actually have a pretty decent squad, with a strong mentality, but we all know how easily things can change when fatigues and injuries start creeping in. And as for City's loss to Villa, well, it was meant to happen. There are some teams in the premier league that can never win the title, but they eventually decides who gets to win the title, and Aston Villa is one of those teams that is known for making life very difficult for title contenders.

Arsenal are good yes but topping the league at this time doesn't mean anything. Manchester City also did top it too and now they have lost the first spot so anything can still happen don't feel like it's the end. People look down on Arsenal because of the style of play, they win games quite alright but not always in a convincing manner. They don't score many goals or have a strong attacking force that's why people are not fully convinced. They win matches by scoring few goals and protecting the goals. It's also a good style, as long as it gives you the points so it's really fine but Arsenal fans should not complain about people not believing in them.

Fancy it or not, we have to give credit when it due. Currently I will tell you they are the best team in the league. We know the league is a marathon but this was same way we say Leicester started it years back and got it to the finish line. I’m not really saying Brighton will win the league, but so far they are taking it one match at a time and that the best way to go about the league. Brighton have beaten arsenal and Manchester city in the league, it shows the level of commitment in the team. When you watch them play you will see they are not just winning these game but fluke, they are putting in so much work. Well, even if they don’t get their hands on the premier league, I think they will be playing in the champions league next season.

If we observe the playing style of Arsenal since they start to win titles under Mikel Arteta, you will see the changes and the defensive style they have applied. Most of it have change for the worst because Arsenal didn't come to play entertaining football but pure dirty football that will guarantee them 3 solid points. Even the fans are acquainted with the playing style of the club, entertaining football doesn't win you games but Haram and dirty football do win you games. This is the one key factor that Mikel Arteta and the fans have generated and they're solely working towards that direction.

There's a glimpse of hope for Carrick's future at United. Tonight Man United defeated AS Roma in Champions League round 4. It was a chaotic game. Roma got ahead 2-0 before the first 20 minutes passed, but United's squad decided today is a good day to stop their losing streak and fought bravely to change their fate and ended up winning 3-2. Finally, their fans had something to celebrate.
Aston Villa wasn't that lucky. They suffered a 3-0 defeat to Barcelona.
Three more English clubs will play their UCL games tomorrow: Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City.

Am not the only one that think Brighton performance is going to drop with time. They started the season so well, they have been able to win some top clubs, and they are currently in 3rd position on the table, I think Brighton might not be able to maintain their good performance until season is going to end, I expect their performance to drop at some point, but they currently playing well, and their performance is just so impressive right now, let’s see how Brighton is going to perform till the season is going to end, let’s see if they will be able to secure champions league spot.
