Even two consecutive defeats are unusual for City, that's quite a lot for them. So I think they should beat Nottingham Forest, or at least avoid defeat. It's hard to imagine City losing three Premier League games in a row, I'd say the defeat to Aston Villa was more of a fluke because City completely dominated that match. As for Brighton, I don't know the game was decided by just one goal, and City dominated that match as well, so I expect City  not lose this game.

It may looks unusual but I hope you know that there is no team that is too big to lose. Just because you win games before doesn't make you a superior to loss. There are times that you can be good and you still lose to the least serious team in the league. If Arsenal can lose matches to some teams, why is Manchester City is exceptional. They are good but not too special now in the league, there are tough teams like them which has also lose this season.

The two defeat isn't too bad, what matters now is what they will be doing hence forth, are they going to pick up from here and get back to form or they are starting to play what they played last season. We have many months until the end.

No one expected that comeback from Manchester United against Roma. That's why I normally say united problem is not just about the coach and changing him won't get them the result if the players are not willing to play along.

The players don't usually play to expectation in most of their match and when they lose, people switch the blame to coach. I'm not saying the coach is fault free, he has his own flaws too but most defeat is as a result of the players failing to live up to expectation.

Nonsense! There's a coaching and tactical flaw, but pretend like you don't see it.

As much as I'm mentally exhausted when I see such post about Manchester United, I can not help but still pen down what is actually happening. Some players should leave, the management should also see some changes as all we get is nothing but incompetence. They  have special players, and the management didn't invest in mandatory positions as well as the manager who is nothing but clueless.

The coach is the head of the sqaud and detects how they should play exactly and if they're not doing that he shouldn't be no bloody coward and cunt who can not take  responsibilities.

There are players that are at club that are just average players. Just look at the players Manchester United bought during the summer, which of them is a world class player, I don’t see it. For a team going into the champions league, we expected much better investment, but instead they board and management are settling for Bunch of average players.

You pay for what you get, if you need a good player in this current market, you will have to pay at least 80million or there about. The board is the core problem, even though we know the coach and players have there part to play also.

The truth is no one expected a come back in that roma game, not with this current foam and how they played in the first half. It just one of those old trafford magic. Now can they build on that win against villa, we will have to wait and see.

Exactly. These players are not willing to put their all to play for the club and that shows in their performance in every match. Their last game agsinst Roma was one of their best performances this season, if not the best performance and they truly deserved the win. That win was a boost to their confidence and I believe that their next game would be better.

Michael Carrick has remained hopeful with the club and has always protected the players inspite of their bad performance, that's an attitude that is deserving of a coach and I hope this season becomes better for him at the end.

You're in the same line of reasoning with me, because I still doubt that coaches are Manchester United's problem, and I have said this several times, because even with the quality of players they've signed presently and in the past, no one would say they haven't also made quite a good number of signings. It's apparent that they should have bounced back with that, but that hasn't happened. From my perspective, both the management team, and the managers, players, and, if possible, a change of ownership should also take place if things didn't continue to work out the way they should be henceforth.

I just think luck isn’t on their side right now. Even though they dominated possession during their matches against Aston Villa and Brighton, small mistakes can still happen, such as gaps in the defense that the opposing team ultimately exploited to score goals.

In their next match against Nottingham Forest, they’ll have to win if they don’t want to be overtaken by Brighton in the current standings. Their opponent this time can also be considered a relatively easy one to beat, i’d say Forest performance this season has been terrible, so it would be both embarrassing and baffling if Manchester City were to lose this match as well.

Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace, we have to win after consecutive defeats, it has not been good enough recently.

Manchester City are playing Nottingham Forest, table standing (19th place), Arsenal against Hull City (11th place), I think Arsenal are facing a much stronger opponent than City are. Nottingham Forest couldn't defend their home against Coventry, City wins & same for Arsenal.

I think Pablo-wood is talking about the EPL matches because Manchester City actually lost 2 consecutive matches which was against Aston Villa and Brighton. Manchester City will probably lose their next match too or they play draw because their next opponent is Nottingham Forest. Of course in paper, Manchester City is the favourites but they are playing at away and they haven't gotten their balance in the EPL after the two consecutive defeats. They will play Nottingham Forest with fear because any mistakes they make might lead them to fall behind by 6 points. Arsenal has an easy match whereas Manchester City doesn't have an easy match and they will possibly have fatigue which came from the Champions League match against Leipzig.

It's half time, and it's still goaless draw. The both sides are trying to make a positive turn out for themselves. I don't think there would be much goals in this game. We already saw a goaless first half, so we many not be expecting much in the second half, though some games happen to produce much goals in the second half. Manchester United’s victory over Roma was of great significance to them , as it did more than just end their run of 10 consecutive matches without a win, but also gave the players a real morale boost. Aston Villa are no pushovers and I’m sure they’ll put up a fierce fight, but Man United have a good record against Villa and I would expect that if Man United can play as they did against Roma (particularly in the second half), then they might well secure another victory.

Their position in the table is not assured, so only a win will resolve the situation. But if Man United slip up again , they could well find themselves in the bottom three.

If Manchester United play aggressively from the start, like they did in the second half against Roma, then they will definitely win against Aston Villa. I was also surprised to see Manchester United's game because they were 2-0 down at the start but after the first half they won 3-2, it really shows that their performance is far from perfect. If they can create the same pressure against Aston Villa, then maybe they will not have to lose and they will return home victorious. But one thing to remember is that they have to strengthen their defense because of the weakness that they had in the first 2 goals against Roma. And since their opponent is Aston Villa, they will have to play more aggressively.

Manchester United was good or not to me it’s not the issue they just need to be more careful in their games and stay consistency rather than depend on one good comeback just to boost their moral and confidence, this club really fucked up last season and I think they should pull up much better this season. Coming from behind against Roma shows what they can do more better if they stay more focused and play without fear but remember Aston Villa is also not a team you can give too much space to, Man United need to start with the same presure, press, maintain that pressure and make good use of their attacking opportunities because their attack alone won’t be enough rather putting balls into the net will count.

Even though Manchester United turned things around against Roma, I don't think they will be able to win against Aston Villa easily. Because if we compare Aston Villa with Roma here, then I definitely think Aston Villa is stronger than Roma, and so naturally even if Manchester United can turn around against Roma in any way, they will not be able to turn around against Aston Villa as easily as they did in the previous match if they concede a goal and fall behind. Although the match is at Manchester United's home ground, they cannot win with the home ground advantage, because if we look at the previous matches, excluding the match against Roma, then we can see very clearly that they could not produce any good results. I am very worried about this match, I am not expecting anything from Manchester United yet.
