Whats happening with Betnomi?

You just said that some people on your telegram group wrote how betnomi is not too far away from dark web drug markets.
That does not sound to me like posting about facts at all, and I have no reason at all to defend betnomi.
If you have more concrete information about them you can send me links with personal messages.

Some things stop being an accusation when the person in question admits to it... And there is plenty of stuff that sorsis has done (and claimed) that would really not fit into the narrative of this casino being a community friendly one that would take care of everyone

Really,  betnomi have not been friendly to their client in the recent eyebrows that happened to the casinos,  and how betnomi never made any attempt to communicate with their client to let them be informed of what is happening with the casino,  instead of locking everyone out of the casino at some point.

But all the same, we must also give Betnomi some benefits of the doubt to let them know that the community still cares and wish them well as long as the fault of the closer of service is not from them, but it is until they come out to make public notice.

Correct, they did some good things for the community. I do have to say though, if you had prior information about the type of people who were running the website, it might have been nice to share with the community. @Csmiami.  Betnomi may not have had the chance to close the doors with funds of users if we had known.

You are right. Before writing my reply I tried to access the website and I got a 500 error message (this usually means there is an internal isdue and that the host is still active and hasn't been taken down). The casino (website) can come back online at any moment and probably some members were not aware of what happened at all. We know that this is an exit scam (already pulled), but not everyone is as smart/knowledgeable as you.

I mean, I did put a flag up because some stuff I had seen and experienced regarding payments; but since the amount (not the %) was small, people did sort of ignore it. Besides that, the stuff that happened with gosu/efialtis is public; and we did list them in the blacklist for some of those reasons aswell. And some people may also remember that one time a passport was posted here in the forum to mock a user trying to pass KYC under the premise that "it was not his real passport"...

I will go agree that not everything about the site was bad; but all in all, and after some experience I've gained on the industry ever since, I'd be confident to say that most of that was something that should be considered standard, and not something out of the ordinary.

And well, of course everything looks different in hindsight; but would have there really been a point in coming to the forum every day to talk about what people had been ignoring? would it have changed a thing? guess we'll never know

Thank you - let`s also not forget:

- the generally unprofessional attitude
- the constant "change of plans" with regard to betnomi
- the ICO
- the bragging about carding skills, aka literally scamming people (crime)
- and the list could go on and on

There is a reason why we stopped promoting them a long time ago, including blacklisting. I was more than "understanding" and actually gave them the benefit of the doubt, more than once, but they kept proving how right I was... I had them negatively tagged as well and if I remember correctly, some people on here actually put me on "distrust" because I spoke out against them. Last but not least, in recent months, I actually posted more than once in their thread that I do not see a single reason why anyone in his right mind would keep depositing funds on that site and that people should refrain from doing so.

Tbh, I do not think there is anything else we could have done in order to protect the people of this forum as well as visitors of our website.

I highly doubted that this will gonna happened. This issue will surely reflected on their Bitcointalk account trust feedback regardless if they come back to clear their reputation again.

I still have balance left in there that I left the last time I played and made a review during their casino review event here in the forum. The good part is I only left couple of bucks that I was supposed to play later but I forgot to use.

Really,  betnomi have not been friendly to their client in the recent eyebrows that happened to the casinos,  and how betnomi never made any attempt to communicate with their client to let them be informed of what is happening with the casino,  instead of locking everyone out of the casino at some point.

Clients/customers of a service provider are entitled to the right to be notified of any issue that is assume to be problematic which affects the customer just like this one to avoid conveying a wrong message.
If  communication was sent across within a timely window-frame to it's clients to keep them abreast with whatever circumstance that have taken place, a lot of eyebrows wouldn't have been raised.
We can't say why they didn't, but its isn't the right move to take keeping people aloaf.

I think that makes sense even though it seems difficult to recover their good name and fix their problems if one day they come back to this forum and announce their new site, maybe a lot of people will be happy and some will lose faith in them, but I won't waiting for them to really come back to us all, because it looks like they have really left this business.

Although there's a chance they might come back again but it seems it's been a while since they let people lose faith in this site and made it look like a lot of trouble in this forum a lot of people are popping up reporting losing their access and money on this site. I think they should let it all go because it looks like they are really leaving this business. they're not coming back.

Yes, This is a clear sign that they are already decided to exit scam since they are already deleting their online prints to avoid trace for a potential lawsuit.

Too bad they choose to this way after all the expenses they throw for their marketing here in the forum. I’m sure many users here is affected since Betnomi is trusted by many reputable user here due to their promotions.

I think that makes sense even though it seems difficult to recover their good name and fix their problems if one day they come back to this forum and announce their new site, maybe a lot of people will be happy and some will lose faith in them, but I won't waiting for them to really come back to us all, because it looks like they have really left this business.

We know they sent some hardware wallets to community members after winning their giveaways, that was nice from them, but I hope personal information wont end up in wrong hands.
This is one of the reasons why I dont like doing verification on most crypto casinos, and why I refused to do it even when I was offer money for that.
I will repeat again that email address I used for registering on Betnomi started to receive unrelated spam emails recently.

I agree with you,  the best bet right now is to avoid anything close to Betnomi because the casino has shown dishonesty in their dealing with the community who their close in on locking their fund in the casino without any information, so no matter what they come if they ever will,  no one will trust them again since they have already betrayed the trust of the community.

I accept the fact that Betnomii was really promoted here in the forum with all the poker tournaments and the rest,  but no one know their real intention back then until recently when they showed their true intentions.

Yep, the email address I used for betnomi has become a spam haven. It looks like it's getting somewhere in the 10-15 spam emails per day from sites I've never visited or been interested in.

Lol its sounds like no one in bitcointalk understands what bankruptcy means. I my self run multiple companys and if one of my company would have gone bankrupt that doesnt make me a scammer to my partners and customers, it simply means that the company didnt get to be a success. This is one of the beautiful part of running a business because as a owner you are not liable personally most often times of the company going bankrupt.

The funds and all of the assets will probably go to bancrupcy agent or estate which will handle all of the remaining value of the company in correct order probably, if their is any funds left.

Its sad that betnomi when bankrupt but that doesnt make them autocratically to be scammers. If you have never runned a company i can personally tell you that it is not a ballet. I personally withdrawed over 500k earlier on when they where in their A game with ease. Its sad to see that players have not got their funds back but that doesnt means automaticaly that bankcrupcy is the same as scamming people.

The risk of unable to recover asset when the casino close in on the customers is something that has become the biggest risk with online casinos and more also you end up spending extra money in trying to seek legal redress which in the most case has proven to be a waste of time and energy this is also because of the weak practice of the law that licenses that online casino.
The majority of Betnomi clients have lost their money and won't be able to recover them ever even if the casino makes a future welcome back. shortly.
