Whats happening with Betnomi?

One thing with this whole thing is that, even taking legal action against them involves you spending money, and if at the end of the day, such legal action did not help you recover your lost fund from them, it becomes a double loss..
And besides, who and who exactly can we say that are the owners of this casino ? for some reasons, owners of casino always stay anonymous, some say its so that they wont be attacked by gamblers who lost big on the site, but the fact remains that some of this casino owners still use this excuse as a free ticket to scam and while remaining anonymous, reason why it is always advised to never leave big funds on your casino account.

True, when loss from gambling platform as close or trouble with withdrawing there are little chance for us recovery our fund actually with gambling platform have stop operation. Spent our time and money against with gambling platform have been stop operation like Betnomi and not any ideas what have to do exactly this gambling platform.

Why do you think they won't get their funds back incase there is a come back? They have the details of the customers who registered with them and those who have funds to withdraw. Customers also have prove of playing with them so it won't be a difficult thing to identify those who had account with them. However, it may be a slow process that will take time and some you had issues with the accounts earlier might find it difficult to make a clarification with them but people will get funds back if they did come back.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Taking legal steps against Betnomi only makes sense if you either don't care about the money for the lawyers and the effort (flights, ...) or if an insurance would pay for the lawsuit. If neither of these is the case, the risk is simply too great that in addition to the loss on the platform, you will also be stuck with the costs for the lawsuit - if it can be legally brought about at all.



As bad as the loss is for each individual and I do not begrudge anyone such losses but unfortunately the following sentence applies to online gambling platforms, too: Not your keys, not your coins.

Can't really put the blame on the trusting users now but I couldn't agree with you more. These types of bad situations just drives the notion of "not your keys not your money" even more. I don't think they will be that traceable as apparently they already had issues in the past of using fake identities to represent themselves in the public, and I know that those were already taken care of but at the same time it's a little disencouraging to think that it could just be them using fake identities all along, but whatever. Efforts are being taken by multiple parties if I'm not mistaken to at least catch the perpetrators or hold them accountable, and I don't think it's the fact that they are no longer turning in a profit that's causing this to happen, Betnomi's one of the longest running campaigns here, and at the same time they had consistent monthly users, this is just a case of biding your time and submitting to your own greed.

Yeah I saw that thread and I am dual on what to think about it.First of all Betnomi set a real bad bad precedent for any new coming casino wanting to open business here,they even sponsored the Champions League pool last year and I thought they are doing very well and have money to spare.I think the owners of Betnomi were plain stupid if they shut down business and are happy with what amount they scammed from the users,if they continue business as usual they would be making a lot more profit like any other casino in the long run,what a bunch of idiots.

I think part of the reason that they decided to scam abandon the site is because they are not making enough money out of operating it. I got into this conclusion because so far there isnt any massive people complaining about Betnomi at all which means they have a very low number of active players otherwise there wont be any reason that they decided to do this shit

As I saw in that thread that your good intentions may not necessarily get a positive response from all the community, maybe they also think that you are taking the opportunity and care from all the victims, but it should also be noted that all victims will probably be happy with your help, but not to offer gambling anymore let alone the bonuses you have prepared for them.

What's more, they have to prove the missing money, maybe some kind of screenshot so it's not worth sharing with your CS, the bonus you give also has requirements that maybe they don't have the money for that because they're just waiting for their money at Betnomi, but whatever. Lol its sounds like no one in bitcointalk understands what bankruptcy means. I my self run multiple companys and if one of my company would have gone bankrupt that doesnt make me a scammer to my partners and customers, it simply means that the company didnt get to be a success. This is one of the beautiful part of running a business because as a owner you are not liable personally most often times of the company going bankrupt.

The funds and all of the assets will probably go to bancrupcy agent or estate which will handle all of the remaining value of the company in correct order probably, if their is any funds left.

Its sad that betnomi when bankrupt but that doesnt make them autocratically to be scammers. If you have never runned a company i can personally tell you that it is not a ballet. I personally withdrawed over 500k earlier on when they where in their A game with ease. Actually, what he explains about company bankruptcies is well explained, what I don't know is where he gets that Betnomi has gone bankrupt. It looks like an exit scam and I don't see anything to indicate that they have declared bankruptcy.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Taking legal steps against Betnomi only makes sense if you either don't care about the money for the lawyers and the effort (flights, ...) or if an insurance would pay for the lawsuit. <...>

Then there is something else. The average casino depositing user is usually interested in privacy, and a good portion of the clientele will not have declared those funds. They are not going to shoot themselves in the foot by claiming something they have trouble justifying to the authorities. I believe that scam casinos take advantage of this. People who bet from countries where gambling is forbidden, people who get the funds in an opaque way, cases like this are not going to go to the authorities to complain.

So do you think they will come back because they haven't announced that they are bankrupt and come out as a scam, of course in the absence of clarification from their team on this forum why feel confident that they will come back again, I'm still not sure the site is inaccessible and also they don't intend to announce it here if there is a problem or they intend to come back again.

There wasn't any clarification since their site was under maintenance until in the end their site couldn't really be accessed, I think everyone was desperate with that then they assumed that Betnomi was bankrupt and came out as a fraud even though I didn't think the same as them because I'm not an active gambler there, but I have little sympathy for the victims at this time that it seems they can't be expected to come back again.

I don't know what Betwrong was thinking, but I certainly don't believe that after all this time, they can simply come back with something like "Sorry guys, we were on vacation!" and resume their operations. Trust is of utmost importance in the gambling business, and once you lose it, you can hardly get it back.
