It isn't like Mourinho will be successful at every team he goes to. Actually he had a good chemistry with the team first. They won the Europa Conference League title also and qualified for the finale in the Europa League too. But they just can't give the expected performance when it comes to the Serie A.

They are even worse this season as you know. The target must be to finish a season in top 4 in the league every season. However they still can't make it there. It looks difficult for this season too as long as they don't start some lasting winning streak.

If they can't make it to the Champions League once again I believe that Mourinho's contract won't be extended.

Actually, Mourinho needs time to be able to bring many trophies to Roma. He needs lots of great players to support him in winning trophies with Roma. However, it is still early in the season and I think Mounrinho will succeed in bringing Roma to a better position in the standings table.
