Atalanta is not team that can be taken lightly and it turns out that Napoli managed to beat them with score of 1 - 2, which is pretty good start for Mazzarri because he can lead Napoli to beat tick like Atalanta.
But in the future, Napoli will face three difficult matches and this will put pressure on Mazzarri to be able to bring Napoli to maximum results.
Real Madrid will be difficult match for Napoli in the UCL and when Mazzarri is able to make Napoli have good game to at least match Real Madrid then I will really applaud his performance.

For me too their season is now ruined, I absolutely agree with you on this.
Now the only thing they can do is contain the damage done by the previous coach who unfortunately wasnt up to par.
These are mistakes that are made and that happen.

Hopefully, as you said, Napoli will return to its best performance like last season with its current new manager. Napoli's recent struggles have been disappointing for all their fans and supporters. Sacking a manager after they the league is provenly a big mistake a club ever made. But I believe that they have the potential to bounce back and challenge for trophies in the near future. They have a talented squad with a strong team spirit, and they have shown in the past that they can compete with the best teams in Italy. This needs an ambitious will from the management and the president to invest.

Next season, They will need to keep their key players to stay at the club to maintain their champions mentality in the squad. they will have the added motivation of trying to make amends for their disappointing campaign this season. They will be well-rested and will have a full pre-season to prepare for the new season. I am confident that they will be a force to be reckoned with next year.

About a back-to-back championship for Napoli I'm afraid I can't talk very positively. It is just really difficult for Napoli to keep up with Inter - Juventus duo. Even let's say Juventus start dropping down from the title challenge I believe that Inter would go for it until the end of the season. Because the way they play give quite much confidence to me about their winning the league title this season.

Napoli could at least start playing better maybe after this manager replacement. I'm not even sure about whether this manager change was really necessary after a short time.    In the end Mazzarri isn't a more successful manager than him on paper.

The Napoli that I saw last night against Real Madrid could easily beat Inter, obviously as an Inter fan I know that they are much stronger and only they can lose this scudetto, but Inter will play away from home and it will be a tough match and difficult, that's how I see it
