Yeah it is true that Mazzarri won the Italian cup with Napoli in the 2011/12 season. But maybe Rudi Garcia was also going to achieve such success if they didn't part ways with him. We never know.

Mazzarri's contract is only until the end of the season for now. He is more like a caretaker manager for Napoli now. But if he shows a better performance then he can surely get a contract extension by another year.  

I don't know if Napoli can find a manager like Spalletti in the future. Because that season with him was something very special.

Unfortunately he was obsessed with doing better than his father Angelo Moratti until he succeeded. Now De Laurentis must not fall into this trap, the team has been coached by 3 different coaches in 6 months and I don't think this is a good practice to follow because each coach has different schemes and it is not easy to get used to a new scheme in such a short time time

Indeed, there was no second chance for Rudi Garcia because he was fired and so quickly even though it was a fairly hasty decision made by Napoli management. But Mazzarri is of course quite an influential coach if you look at his performance when coaching Serie A teams and he has also been Napoli coach before. I don't think this is a blunder that could result in them failing to compete this season but this is the start of their revival if Mazzarri is able to bring change to Napoli. He must be able to restore the sharpness of Osimhen and also Kvaratskhelia in Napoli front line because these two players are quite influential players in the Napoli team.

You don't have to expect things to remain the same,if they did so well last season,that does not mean they will be exactly like that again this season,maybe perhaps you are used to putting them in your gambling slip,and you are just expecting them to deliver same way they were doing last season.Napoli has changed,they no longer have that winning mentality they had last season,and the effort and strength of the players who were putting in their all to ensure they win the league has dropped.All they need now is and elite mentality,which is to always remain in the competition level, competing with big teams.

In my opinion, Napoli's decision to fire Rudi Garcia was so quick and sudden as a result of Napoli facing defeat against Empoli. Indeed, Napoli felt humiliated by this because they could not face a club that was said to be very weak, indeed no one knows because sometimes in football there are always surprises. Weak clubs can give surprises when facing strong clubs like Empoli did.
I personally don't really blame Rudi Garcia for not being able to make Napoli perform better like Spalletti did last season but the coach must have his own tactics.

Furthermore they should target someone like Zidane because he would command respect and be able to unite the board and the squad and get immediate results but getting him to come won’t be easy.

I really believe that he fell into the same trap that Moratti fell into at the time!!!
A president must not decide technical things, he must limit himself to being the president without intervening, also because his job is not to be a coach. I hope he understand.

True, you are right, they both have an obsession but which ultimately leads to nothing. Football is not a business but a disposable and expensive hobby (as president and owner) there are very few teams with a profit on their balance sheet, not to mention unique and rare.

you're right friend, on Saturday we'll see how Napoli starts to behave with Mazzarri at the helm of the team. Unfortunately for him it starts with a very challenging and important clash in Bergamo against Atalanta, where he shows up for the match still without Osimhen. They couldn't score any goal in 2 of these 4 matches I mentioned. They had better focus on being productive consistently firstly.

Not being able to score against a team like Udinese is horrible for a team like Milan for example.
