Atalanta was able to create a record for themselves today, as they are the first Italian club to win Europa League, amd they were also the only club that was able to defeat Leverkusen this season and destroyed their unbeaten record in all competitions.

Atalanta really showed a good defense and was able to use their game pattern to outsmart Leverkusen and win the finals on a clean sheet. I lost my bet and I am not worried over that because I appreciate Atalanta's performance so it was a big surprise to see the unbeaten Leverkusen who most people think that they are the favorite to win the league. Atalanta was able to eliminate the two clubs which people thought will be the winner of this season Europa league.

So that's the reason why it's never worth underestimating any of the teams in the final even if the other one has an impressive performance. Atalanta broke all predictions and they proved themselves not to be underestimated. I was surprised by what Atalanta had in this match, so I think Atalanta really deserved to win the title.

I saw great disappointment on Xabi Alonso's face throughout the match and it looked even worse when Ademola Lookman scored his third goal. Leverkusen and all its players have done their best, but the best team is certainly about who is able to take advantage of their opportunities well. Ademola Lookman deserved everything today, he is a hero.

This is possibly one of the worst finals, Atalanta was perfect from the start of the game till the final whistle. Leverkusen lost because they felt really confident they are going to win the game even while Atalanta was winning by 2 goals to nail they still felt relaxed instead of attempting to score goals. Leverkusen was busy with unnecessary passes, I am really disappointed from what they did, this is final and one player has a hatrick and having lost the game in zero goals, ruining their long unbeaten streak, this is turns out to be the best they can offer. At this point nothing else can be done, Congratulations to Atalanta for securing the Europa League title as the champions of this season.

At this point, I think there is no more hope for Bayer Leverkusen because Ademola Lukuman has gotten his hat trick for Atalanta, and at this time, it will be very hard for Bayer Leverkusen to get this trophy. In a surprising turn of events, Atalanta emerged victorious, not only winning the game but doing so in a dominant by not allowing Bayern Leverkusen to score even a single goal, which is truly astonishing and something nobody had anticipated, especially considering the final score was a decisive 3-0 in favor of Atalanta. I am very happy for Atalanta for winning this Europa trophy, they really put in a tremendous effort and they genuinely deserve this victory.  many people who bet on the match will likely lose today because their predictions probably may went wrong.

Bayer Leverkusen defeat wasn't predictable for most people I assume then worse, they lost by three goals and unexpectedly it is a hattrick by Lookman..
The season of Bayer Leverkusen finished in a good manner in 1.Bundesliga and badly, very badly in fact in UEFA Europa League which is as important as the Bundesliga title. I don't know if they could maintain their excellent form in Bundesliga and how far they could get next season in UEFA Champions League!

Of course, Atalanta success makes fans of various in Serie A teams proud because last season Roma failed to do so, but this season Atalanta succeeded in winning the European League trophy. Alatanta has shown its best strength after they beat Liverpool and that has given a sign that Atalanta will succeed in becoming champions and that has become a reality.

Lookman isn't only performing quite well, he played so amazing. Dude, it is the final Europa league and Lookman could make a hattrick (3 goals). Finally, Serie A team wins an international trophy. Last season, Inter Milan failed to win UCL trophy. Now, Atalanta succeeded winning UEL trophy. It is surely a proud for the team from Serie A.

What a nice performance by Atalanta players they have break Bayern Leverkusen unbeaten record since the beginning of the season, have come to an end tonight by Ademola Lookman, although with a 3 goals down the Nigeria player Lookman was man of the match and I really enjoyed the game because looking at Bayern Leverkusen performance since the beginning of the season one can not believe that Atalanta is going to won them in UEFA Europa league final.

The final match was indeed surprising and it never crossed my mind that Atalanta would win the Europa League considering that Leverkusen this season was very, very impressive without defeat, but in the end Atalanta stopped Leverkusen's unbeaten record. Xabi Alanso made a small mistake here because he could not adapt to Atalanta's strategy and game in pressing, man-to-man, aggressiveness, effectiveness and even Atalanta was superior in all areas, and was able to control the match. Even though Atalanta also used this strategy when eliminating Liverpool, unfortunately Xabi couldn't anticipate it from the start.

Indeed, Leverkusen dominated possession of the ball, but Atalanta was smarter in taking advantage of the situation. Lots of people didn’t see this coming. Honestly, i didn't expect Atalanta to beat the invisible Leverkusen in the just concluded finals not to talk about beating them with a clean sheet, Gasperini deserve all the praise he got today,  what amazes me is that they didn’t park the box all the time, they went all out on Leverkusen sometimes and created better chances for themselves than the Leverkusen did. Their defense was great, the attack was fantastic and they worked as a team to destroy Leverkusen, i love how Gasperini used the Nigerian attacker Lookman as a tool to destroyed Leverkusen's defense and made winning easy for them, Topsiba was no match for him and gave him chance to always penetrate the defense. What i understand in this concluded Europa League season is that Gasperini developed a good tactics in making himself invisible to the big teams he won Liverpool, Sporting and Leverkusen to lift the trophy, they didn’t see it coming cause they all underestimated his team and paid dearly for that. Atalanta are one of challenging teams in Serie A last 10 years and with Gasperini as their head coach, they made big surprise in Champions League years ago and managed to compete for a fourth position in Serie A recent years. This shows their quality, competitiveness and quality recent seasons and in Europa League this season, they won over Liverpool at Anfield stadium with a big result, 3 goal difference at a home-away stadium. This shows Atalanta were not fearful against Liverpool and they shown it again in the final match.

In the final, in my opinion, they did not present a solidity equal to Atalanta in terms of performance in this competition and this could mean that Leverkusen could have a bad performance in the champions league next season. Most teams that perform well in the local league and do not have a coach with great experience in European competitions tend to fail in European competitions.

It's a bad day for Leverkusen and it is a great day for Atalanta as a team and Lookman individually. All three shots of Lookman are powerful and fantastic, then it's hard for any goalkeeper can make saves against those shots. Atalanta played well in the final and their big win comes from excellent shots of Lookman because it's his day.

Unfortunately, it was really an unlucky day for me, at first I had doubts about this final match because in my opinion Atalanta is not a club that can be underestimated, even though I was hit by doubts I still tried to believe in Leverkusen if they would be able to beat Atalanta but who would have thought that the Italian club was able to beat Leverkusen with a fairly high score and Leverkusen was unable to score a goal against Atalanta, I thought Leverkusen could overcome my doubts but it turns out to be true if these doubts really have a strong feeling. This reminds me of Liverpool's match a few months ago where Atalanta was the underdog club but they were able to prove to everyone that they were really strong and were even able to beat Liverpool.
