Braga and Ajax cannot be guaranteed of winning their matches even though I know that they are the favorites because no team should be underestimated in a competition like this since they didn't get here by luck.

Ajax had a terrible season; they finished fifth in their own league, after all. Shame on you, man. But I think they have some fire in their pre-season. Yeah, I mean there are what 32 teams in UCL? I guess they were talking about 36 now with new system? What are they suppose to do for all the other teams in the world? They not only have Europa, but they added conference now too, so that they could have even more competition. Obviously the earnings of these teams compared to higher level isn't the same and very little, because everyone watches UCL and very few cares about UEL or conference, but in the end those are needed too, in order to grow the game. Now we have leagues all over the world sending 5+ teams to Europe every season, some are getting fairly close to even 10, like top four to ucl, two for uel, one for conference, that makes it 7, if one of those won the cup, that means 8th goes too.

All in all I would guess that we are going to see all these teams work hard to get it anyway, and United will be one of them. They are good enough with INEOS management, and there is hope for the team and they are capable of winning it, the talent is there. With Ajax I would like to keep some good levels of optimism, Braga may be doing well already in the friendlies but I'm not getting much conviction just yet. Looking at last season how Ajax went from been at their worst to finishing above the sixth position is a reason to believe they are on a path of gradual progression which will mean that consistency alongside will get them something good in the Europa and this is independent of their recent friendlies performance, more like my speculative idea as I've considered the build up in their form.
