Judging by yesterday's game with Vojvodina, the crisis in Ajax is still ongoing.
Although we must admit that Ajax also had bad luck with realization and a huge number of chances the team missed, Ajax had 10 corners and it seemed that they should have won, but in the end they scored only 1 goal and that at the end Vojvodina could have won if not for a shot to the bar.

Honestly I wasn't impressed with the results Ajax got yesterday, before the game, I anticipated ajax scoring multiple goals because I believed that they have had enough rest and will be back in a very solid form, moreover their opponent wasn't much a tough one, seeing such a result where it did appeared like they struggled to win is disheartening for me, although at some point they looked like they weren't lucky enough but just like you did observed, from their pattern of play, it was obvious they weren't having thst perfect harmony in the team of which somehow it can be traced to the management because if all is well from there, rhwn definitely they will have a better performance on the pitch. I'm hoping they get every issue resolved before the kick off of the new season.

Looks like Ajax hasn't recovered from their low performance last season and I wonder what could be the problem that led to this sudden change of Ajax because this was literally a club that dominates the Netherlands Eredivisie but just all of a sudden last season they dropped drastically in form and in performance and the match against Vojvodina was just to show that Ajax hasn't really recovered and if not for the late goal scored by B. V. den Boomen they would have just ended the game in a draw but however, they're lucky to have won Vojvodina if not the team would have been so criticized.

The management of Ajax should do something to the team in order for them to come back to their good times that they were very active in winning matches more especially when they meet small teams.

But at least they got a enough result for their first Leg at home.
Ajax dominated especially with the full support of their fans, indeed they were quite good in possession and opportunities but the good defense of Vojvodina and the lack of finishing Ajax did made the conditions difficult to guess fortunately at the crucial time they could get 1 goal that made them a little breathe of relief for the second Leg later.

The result is actually not too good but it will be enough to make them more confident in Leg 2 because even though they will play away but with the condition of the club, better experience and of course from a mental point of view they are still quite benefited because they have an aggregate advantage then they will still be the favorite for leg 2 later.

I was more disappointed with the performance of Ajax team in the game to be honest, this is a team that has got a lot of good players and the team they played against can not be compared to their performance generally but watching them find it very difficult to win in the match I think they really need to work on their performance and improve before the beginning of the new season. Even though the management has got some issues among them I don't think they should let them be affected by the management issues, hoping to see the team bouncing back to a better performance last season.

I would say the last 2/3 seasons the Europa League has become very competitive. But even a few years ago I found the Europa League a bit boring. But the Europa League is very competitive now. Several major and renowned teams now play in the Europa League.

However, there will be several big teams playing in the Europa League next season. Manchester United, Tottenham, Roma and Real Sociedad are among them. Also, several teams from the Champions League will qualify for the Europa League. So next season I believe several big teams will fight for the Europa League title.

I would say that day by day the quality of Europa League is increasing. Even a few years ago few people were interested in the Europa League. But its popularity and audience is increasing day by day.
