Fenerbahçe didn't make any mistakes in the second game and beat us convincingly. Our biggest loss was Jonah Mathews' injury. IMO, return to Efes would be best both for club and him. After he left club, Efes looks like chicken without head, no offense.  On paper they have good squad, but from Euroleague contenders contenders they turned into club that can't even get into playoffs. They already tried lot of coaches, but none of them didn't bring them luck.
I don't see Barcelona hiring Ataman, zero chance, Milan probably too.

Alimpijevic tried to put on a show, but the referees didn't forgive him. Fenerbahçe were so dominant on rebounds in this game. Especially on offensive rebounds I must say. Beşiktaş had a serious problem on defending the area.

I watched the game and what stood out for me was the big difference in free throws given to Fenerbahce. I mean 26:14 for the away team really is a huge gap, especially considering that Besiktas only had 1 foul committed more than them.

Everything basically came together for them, coming back from a good lead for Besiktas twice, more free throws, less costly turnovers and the game winner seconds before the end. Besiktas really has thrown this away the way the played.

This year, basketball brought smiles to our faces again. In the Turkish League, we defeated Beşiktaş 77-75 in the 4th game and won the series 3-1, becoming champions.
Beşiktaş put up a great fight. If they hadn't had injury problems, it would have been difficult for us to become champions. We would still have won, but it would have been a tough time. Today, we only took the lead once, and that was in the last seconds of the game, and that brought us the victory.

I was expecting that Besiktas was gonna make a big surprise in these series but that didnt happen in the end and Besiktas with Alimpijevic is getting better and better each season and they are close to euroleague each season and i think they deserve to be in it rather then some weaker teams in euroleague that dont deserve that place. I dont know if Alimpijevic will stay in Besiktas but i think he deserves to go to euroleague level because he is such a good young coach and with a bigger budget he can do a lot more.
