I must say I admired Besiktas' performance in Game 3. They played really solid against us. But it didn't surprise me too much to lose this game.

Because Besiktas finished regular season even ahead of Anadolu Efes. They eliminated them in playoffs as well.

But I think we will finish the job in Game 4. I'm excitedly waiting for Fenerbahçe to complete the season with another championship.

Actually I was more excited about game 3 in Germany between Bayern Munich and Ulm. Disclaimer, I hate Bayern. And yeah, Ulm won this game in Munich and now only need 1 more win. Little funny side story, it's gonna be tough for Ulm now because they have 2 big talents that also will be in the NBA draft. The problem now is, game 4 and 5 are basically right around the draft so these guys have to make a decision, go to NY or play the finals. Not sure if it's decided yet but obviously that's a tough decision and if they go it will be even more tough for the team.
They tried to move the dates but the league unfortunately said no, so there is that.

As far as I know, it isn't necessary to be at the Draft Pick ceremony. So they can be available for Ulm for these last crucial games without any problem. Ofc, being in such an event happens once in a lifetime, and for sure, they will want to be there and live this event firsthand. For me, though, first comes the team that you are, then all the rest. We will see if those 2 young guns shared the same opinion with me or if they are stunned by the early spotlights.

In the tough match, Fenerbahçe beat Beşiktaş 91-87 and the series became 3-1. The next match will be in Ataşehir and we need a match for the championship.
Fenerbahçe entered the match very concentrated this time. They had a very bad attacking position on Saturday but they were very good today. Baldwin played very well in the last quarter. If I am not mistaken, he kept the team afloat by scoring 16 points in the last quarter.
Yiğit was not good at three-point shots in Beşiktaş today.
Fenerbahçe may finish this year as champions on Wednesday.

I totaly forgot that the format of the final series in the Turkish league has newly changed. I thought it was going to be BO5 but it turns out that it is BO7 actually. But I think this is unnecessary. BO5 is good enough. This isn't NBA.

The final moments of Game 4 was really exciting today. We managed to make it 3-1 but Besiktas resisted really well until the last seconds. Mathews' turnover despite his great effort also caused them trouble in the final moments.

These players were once very good, but aren't they too old now?
I wonder what kind of target Barcelona set with these players?
They are almost at retirement age. I don't understand these transfers, but I think the Barça management knows something.

Yeah, Ialso wasn't aware about it, though that format didn't changed from previous years. Agree that BO5 probably would be better. IMO, season is too long already, it shouldn't end in the end of June.

I don't understand Barca management. As you said, they're already old and if team has big ambitions, such signings looksstrange. Same like staying with Pennaroya after such horrible season.

These players were good before and probobly one of the best in the league a few years ago but now i think they are just wasted. Both of these players didnt show anything last season and Barcelona is getting them. Barcelona after Parker left i dont see them winning the euroleague next season or at the top of the league at all

Me too. Commitment is becoming increasingly rare every day, or perhaps even every hour. The new athletes look more interesting in flashlights than in the game itself, and their improvement in it. Essengue makes his choice, and I'm sure that any team that takes his rights will count this move and his choice. Teams like commitment from the players that are on their roster, and Essengue lacks it.

Big congrats to Fenerbahce they won everything this season and they deserved it. They destroyed Besiktas in this series 4-1 and really easily. O most no games were close in this series. Paris also surprised me this season because they won this title against Monaco that was on final four

Fenerbahçe became the champion of the Turkish League after the Turkish Cup and Euroleague.

The championship was determined when the series became 3-1. They made it official with an 84-68 victory yesterday.
The last period was very barren for both teams.

Jonah Mathews was the standout player for Beşiktaş this season.
I don't think he will continue at Beşiktaş next year.

Alimpijevic has become a very noticeable coach. I don't think he will be the coach of Beşiktaş next year either.
I am curiously waiting to see which Euroleague team he will be transferred to. He is a very young but very high-quality coach. We may hear his name more often in the coming years.

Indeed, this season belongs entirely to Fener, and I never doubt that they will win the championship against Besiktas. The differences between those two teams remain big. In any case, a treble is a treble, and they should be proud of this achievement. Congrats!

Yes, it was a "crazy" game regarding the score differences and how these changes occurred. Monaco shows that the Final Four loss affects them more than a lot. On the other hand, Paris had a magnificent season, and that pays off for the players and their staff. Splitter returns in the NBA, while TJ Shorts gets a king-size 2-year contract with Panathinaikos without any NBA buy-out (2.1 million euros per year tax-free), and Tyson Ward will find himself in Olympiakos since they paid his buy-out. I'm very curious to see the Paris roster for the next season and how they will perform.

Too bad. As a big Bayern hater I was praying Ulm would maje the impossible possible, for the 2nd time in 3 years. But losing the NBA's number 12 pick this season definitely didn't help them. They had a huge chance but it just wasn't supposed to be.

As you have said, now European club basketball has come to an end but there is still stuff to follow. Right now we have the woman's European championship going into the semi finals.
Not to forget, we have the Eurobasket in mens basketball starting August 27th, that's something to look forward to. 24 teams will play for the European crown.

Teodosic retired from basketball at the age of 38. What I remember the most is his time playing for CSK.
I used to be annoyed by his move before the free throw, but it has a place in my memory.
He was not successful in the NBA, he played for the Clippers for 2 seasons, but since he could not provide what was expected, he returned to Europe.
I wish him success in his future life.
I think we will see him on the court again soon, this time as a coach.

Legend of European basketball. As you said, his prime was in CSKA and I will always remember him for no look and behind the back passes which was some piece of art. Yeah, he haven't done good at NBA, but it can be said about many European legends like Spanoulis or Saras. But still, I think he wasted some potential because of attitude. Well, I guess everyone needs to start from somewhere to become someone. Paris did the same and they perform great, why not Zalgiris with Masiulis?

Saying this, you remind me of Zarko Paspalj, who smokes 2 packets per day. Some were inside the court while the team practiced or before a game. However, that didn't stop either of them from having a great career, even if they didn't manage to have the same impact in the NBA.
