Tarık's three-pointer was valuable, but Baldwin's assist was also excellent. Thank you, Team 💙💛💙💛
Yeah, it already looked that Baldwin did nonsense here, but it turned into one of best assists I've ever saw. I wanted to see Game 5 in this series, but anyway, it was still great series.
Congrats to Fenerbahche fans here, I know there is plenty of you here.

Beşiktaş wanted to win the game with three-point shots, but it didn't work. Fenerbahçe only made 7 three-pointers, while Beşiktaş made 13, but a game isn't won solely with three-pointers. Tarık hit a crucial three-pointer, giving Fenerbahçe a significant advantage to win the game. Of Fenerbahçe's 7 three-pointers, 5 were made by Tarık and 2 by Baldwin. The others were very poor today. With today's championship, Fenerbahçe celebrated their third consecutive title and their 13th overall.

Fenerbahçe won both the game and the championship by coming from behind. I think Alimpijevic is one of the best coaches, but he deserves to coach a team with higher quality and better players. If Anadolu Efes is going to bring in a new coach, I think it should be Alimpijevic.

Yesterday, Nando De Colo ended his basketball career. He crowned his career with a championship.

Fenerbahçe won the league championship for the 13th time.

Now I'm eagerly waiting to see how Saras will build the team for next year.

Panathinaikos has reached an agreement with Zeljko Obradovic for 10.5 million Euros over three years. If Panathinaikos also signs Bogdanovic, they will be the biggest contender for the Euroleague championship next year. Obradovic, Nunn, and Nigel would be a better option.

Obradovic hasn't seen the Final Four in a long time. He's probably quite hungry for success right now. If Panathinaikos gives Obradovic enough budget and builds a strong team, Pana will play in the Final Four, but it wouldn't be entirely accurate to say they'll win the championship. They'll also need a bit of luck in the Final Four. Bogdanovic's name is being mentioned. If Bogdan leaves the NBA, he'd want to play for a competitive team in the Euroleague.

9 times Euroleague champion Obradovic we are talking about... I can't imagine how satisfied Panathinaikos is with this deal now. They are still moving on with a Euroleague champion coach after Ergin Ataman.

Can they win the Euroleague next season though? It's hard to tell something about it now. But there are promising players in the roster for that already. Maybe with some small touches they can be ready for a title competition.

Damn, Valencia destroyed Barca by almost 30 points, crazy! Now series tied and next 2 games will be played in Barcelona, Palau Blaugrana.
German champion will be decided tomorrow on Game 5 between Bayern and Alba. Expected that Bayern will have easier series. It will be last career game for coach Svetislav Pesic as he retires after season.
Monaco can become French champions on Sunday as they lead series with Paris 2:1 and will play at home game.
Probably it's first time when Polish league is mentioned on this topic, but just watch how  Zielona Gora moved series to Game 7, just wow:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqtB-ZZ9a7w

Obradovic hasn't seen the Final Four in a long time. He's probably quite hungry for success right now.
He was in Final 4 with Fenerbahche last time, while Partizan didn't had such potential, only in oneseason they had chance when that famous fight in series with Real happened.
While forPanathinaikos Final 4 isn't an achievement. They have to win it to call season successful. It will be interesting.

Yeah there is almost a check mark for the 25/26 season now, a couple of finals games left and all basketball we can watch for a while is WNBA, Big3 or NBL1 in Australia. I really hate that boring and long summer hole but sometimes it is what it is I guess.

I hope ALBA can upset Munich in the final game in Germany but somehow I have a feeling they are getting destroyed. Even in game 4 Munich had a sizable 52:42 lead in the 3rd until ALBA went on a CRAZY 26:2 run in the next 10 minutes. No clue how this could have happened, but I am glad it did.  Grin

Panathinaikos really made a solid move after parting their ways with Ergin Ataman. Željko Obradović is a legendary Euroleague coach undoubtedly.

If the board listen to him completely then Panathinaikos can be a serious threat in Euroleague next season.

I hope Fenerbahçe also make a big recovery with Saras next time. Tongue We should be more consistent than the last time.

Recently picked interest in basketball from NBA to WNBA and now, I'm looking forward to the next Euroleague. I watched the Euroleague final between Olympicos and Real Madrid a few weeks ago and it pique my interest.

Going to have a lot to learn but I hope to do it with you all. Incase anyone have an advices to give for a total Euroleague beginner, I'll appreciate as I plan to be more than just a spectator but also to bet on some of the games I find interesting.

And what do you know, ALBA with the huuuuuuuge upsate in the final game 5 to take away the championship feom Bayern, what a comeback yet again.
I mean they were down and almost out in game 4 and came back but game 5 took it to a whole different level. They were down by a whopping 20 point playing IN Munich, and they actually managed to come back, turn the ship around and get the win for the chip. Such an amazing team and for all the Bayern haters in Germany a big relief.  Grin

Better luck next time Bayern, take some more money and invest even more, maybe then you can buy the championship again. haha

Yeah, I saw this game, crazy what Alba did. In recent years they always been underdog, but now after leaving Euroleague their budget become even smaller and their squad isn't something special. Huge disaster for Bayern and sad career ending for Svetislav Pesic.
Monaco completely destroyed Paris yesterday and moved series to Game 5 which will be played on Tuesday. Today we have 3rd game of ACB final between Barca and Valencia where score is tied 1:1. Israel final between Maccabi and Hapoel also still continues, but in general, we are just few games away before conclusion of basketball season in Europe.

I have come across the article below and it says that Beşiktaş have a significant chance to replace Monaco in the Euroleague next season.

Source: BasketNews

Monaco is expected to withdraw from the Euroleague temporarily. They want to return later on by improving their financial condition and so on.

Beşiktaş are the frontrunner for an invitation it's said. There is a support from the Fenerbahçe side as well for them to join the Euroleague. Let's see what next days bring us...  Smiley

There are rumors that Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with Larkin for $2.5 million. I don't know how true that is. I haven't seen the official announcement. Does Fenerbahçe really need a player like Larkin? If Larkin comes, will he accept being a reserve player? Can he withstand the scolding from Saras? I think Fenerbahçe is making a wrong transfer move.

Do we really need another Turkish team? Sure, they would deserve it but I also wouldn't mind to get some more diversity in the competition.
Guess it's also a money issue. Whoever wants to play has to put a big check on the table to be able to participate. These days money is a bit tight in Europe so teams think twice if the investment is worth it.

My friend, as a Beşiktaş fan, I agree with you. I also want diversity. For example, there are no teams from England. Similarly, there isn't that much interest in basketball in countries like the Netherlands and Belgium. Basketball teams in a country like Germany are very weak. Alba Berlin was at the bottom of the standings for years. Beşiktaş supports basketball, but I'm not sure they'll allocate enough budget for the Euroleague. I also want my team to be in the Euroleague, but I don't know if we'll have the financial resources. In the meantime, I think our team should be in the Euroleague instead of Dubai Basket.

Some countries really have near zero interest in investment into basketball. Who knows maybe there is actually a good potential in some of those countries but they don't even care about it.

When it comes to Beşiktaş I also agree with you. Diversity is of course important but I believe the coach Alimpijević really deserves to play in Euroleague. Smiley He is a really special one who does great things with an average roster.

Monaco wins series against Paris and this win probably marks end of Monaco era. This team made lot of noise in recent several seasons, reached Euroleague elite, but now faced big financial troubles. And it's crazy that they won series despite all problems, injuries, short bench and etc.

IMO, Turkey deserved to have 3 teams than France who got 3 in recent seasons. We are talking about probably 2nd best league in Europe after ACB Though, mixed feelings about Besiktas when most of time they play in half-empty little gym and fill big arena only in the final series.
If not Besiktas, who else? I don't see more good optios, maybe only adding one more Spanish team.

Maybe another team from the ABA. I think Buducnost for example would be a good fit. Sure, that would make 4 ABA teams but Partizan and Zvezda aside they would come from different countries.
I agree that the Turkish league might be the 2nd best league in Europe right now (also since they pay good salaries) but more diversity is also not bad. France having 3 teams was a joke of course, they don't really deserve that.

I'm also all in for more diversity, but unfortunaely reality is a bit different. Buducnost to play in Euroleague probably would have to double their budget. I remember old good times when Lithuania had 2 teams in Euroleague, but I don't think that having 2 teams from my country is possible in upcoming 10-15 years. Other markets? Don't really know. Probably Russia, but it's closed question as long as war continues.
