I actually do this right now so they won't see me. Just within the day when they are at school or when they go to sleep upstairs with their mother. For me, it's important that they won't learn anything about gambling because we all know how the internet works now. when children are adults they must be able to choose and live their own lives, there is no coercion in that matter, but from an early age if children see their parents' behavior, for example, if they like to gamble, then they must be able to decide wisely. whether they should follow in their parents' footsteps or not. Because most children consider their parents' behavior to be the best for them as motivation for a good life.

Funny thing, my kid often see me working behind PC, all those tables, graphs, data. I am not 100% sure that when it will be time to select university to get a higher education, that something related with finances would be selected, as the kid is more interested in art, drawing, creating things. The logic of "kid will copy what parents do" does not work.

Kids would try and imitate what they see their parents do. That I'm quite sure of. It then depends on other factors on if those things copied from their parents arouse their curiosity even further.
Your kid would see you working behind the PC and sees graphs and data. All these the child doesn’t understand and probably wouldn’t seem interesting in the least. Kids would be more attracted to colorful objects and drawings that can attract and hold their attention.

Kids try and imitate what parents do only on early age. Yes, they copy us, how we talk, gestures, things we do and etc. But probably only till age of 4, maybe 5. Because at that age parents are their ideals. But, as soon as they get to kindergarten, their individuality start to reveal, they start to socialize. They start to have their own opinion and prefer to copy or imitate their friends or surrounding, or someone around their age. From this point, even if I show 1000 times how I play poker, and kids friend Alex shows only once how he plays minecraft, poker will be forgotten immediately.

Like I've already said here, kids are very selective. From things they see us, adults doing, they would repeat only, lets say 10%. The rest they would do is what all kids around do. And maybe listen a bit what we teach and tell them. Starting from school, they already live their own small life. With their own problems and achievements. And from that time they copy less adults do.

Two scenarios: 1) while being very young, they wont remember much that parents gamble, they would remember that parents play something 2) school period - small life, where they would be busy doing their own stuff. I bet they would even be forced or asked to stay home, or together with relatives/friends, then running outside to hangout with friends to their rooms, to hangout with friend online. And they wont pay much attention to what parents do. (Everyone remember, how during family or friend meetings, celebrations and etc, kids (or you) prefer to sneak away than to sit with behind the table and listen adults talk).
