I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

They really learn fast but I don't think they see it as gambling money as we do unless you tell them that. Any game they play is just fun for them and that's probably how your kid think of it. I once saw a buddy of mine let his son play dice on mobile and he didn't find it alarming. The kid actually got bored.

Social gatherings is where kids probably see more gambling activities when adults play table games as a past time. They would usually put money on the table while some kids would be watching at the back. Many of us here probably grew up in that kind of environment. We learned how to gamble at a young age but still ended up fine.

Kids are intelligent. They like observing the people around them and then they imitate the behaviors they see. Most often, kids really picture out and copy your attitude, the way you behave, and the way you perceive things. They are fast learners. That's why they said that if you want your kids be a good people, show them - be their role model. And I guess it's really true because it's often the case to the kids and parents that I personally know. Honestly, it's both fascinating and worrisome. Fascinating because you can mold your kids into becoming a great adult by showing them how to be kind, responsible, respectful, and strategic. So it's really a matter of discipline on your side as a parent. If you think gambling has a great repercussions to one's life especially if they are exposed to it at a young age, then do your best to avoid gambling with them around. That way, they will not be curious about it.

It is responsible of parents to not do any activity that has an age restriction in front of their kids, these includes sexual activities, drinking (irresponsibly), gambling, and so on.

The present day kids are too inquisitive always wanted to find out and know everything we do, thus we have to be extraordinary careful in our dealings in their presence because exposing them to gambling might derail them to lose focus particularly in their school and academic work fortunately all my gambling is confined to my mobile phone and I always take caution whenever I wanted to play a bet, possibly move to my room and lockup, however I do allow them to play inbuilt games on my phone which has nothing to do with gambling while my online gambling sites has login details which is only accessable by me alone.

Anything you don't want them to learn, don't expose them to it. It will be a big blunder to expose children to gambling by our actions. I don't allow any kid to be around me when I am doing things that are not their age level. Children can learn easily and are also prone to gambling addiction. I don't allow them to be close to my phone when I am gaming. Also, the best time to game is when they have gone to bed or not at home. Well i don't think this is limited to only gambling but to all aspect of life if you found yourself doing want you don't like do not allow your children or younger ones to look after you in that area which you do things, personally i don't open up every i does online for my kids especially when i am with my phone i wouldn't want them to start peeping at my screen because they will surely asked to know what you are doing and if you are not transparent to them bet me, whenever they had an opportunity they will go open your smartphone or even used their mother's phone to browse that same website you've been hiding for them for long.

You did a very thing telling her no she can’t play, she may think it’s a game for fun and may not be aware that money is being staked to play it. Now that you are aware of her interest, try as much as possible to never let her have access to the site or the game because children are fast learners and she may easily understand the concept of the game.

A child is born as innocent. and spend 98% of their time from birth to at least 5 years with their parents and gradually learn everything from their parents activities, and from 6 years to adulthood, while busy with academic knowledge, but learn most of the things they observe from their parents. So it is natural that if a parent gambles in front of their child, the child will learn to gamble by watching them. For example, my son is only 2 years old. But now he is addicted to watching short videos on YouTube watching my YouTube play. Now he cries if he is not allowed to watch YouTube videos. So I never do things like gambling, smoking in front of my son. I always do them in back of his eyes
