Mate success is relative to person wise. I am talking about overall projects not specific one, Yer even I missed some 5 fig airdrops but able to get profit from participating testnet projects spending less than $20, Is it count as good fund collection method for participating mainnet projects?

You are right, people should try to avoid trying out new projects, it really doesn't end up with all that good result in the end and makes no sense to me at all. I understand that people will not be really all that smart when it comes to investing into new projects, so the best way to go about that would be avoiding them if they can. If they could do that then they would do a lot better and people need to focus on the stronger ones.

The best way to go right now would be just making sure that you are handling it well enough and that would result with you doing fine. I hope that people do not just put small amounts in dozens of projects just to make sure that one of them will do fine, because they could all literally crash to zero.

Whatever project you're testing mostly project will give you a reward for your contribution in the testnet, mostly we only need to a small amount to get the reward or only some few fees. Many new projects conduct a testnet with a reward to attract new investors so investors will know how the system works, and why it's unique/different from the others. But we should be careful with fake testnet website which can make our metamask compromised.

Engaging in testnet has become the order of the day as most projects are going that way now, knowing that hunters are prepared to indulge them. What most hunters expect is any free token they can hodl for the bull run. The belief is that any token, it doesn't matter what's the utility, hedl before the expected bull run will amount to something they can cash out with. It's a 50/50 thing, both for projects and hunters. In the recent past, some of the stories about testnet rewards haven't been palatable but that's what it's because projects don't say what their distribution will be like. Some of them even get to add more hurdles as interest soar for their projects and make it cumbersome for hunters. I know that won't deter the dogged hunters from indulging fresh ones springing up here and there. So, OP there's no guarantee what testnets will offer testers.

Actually, there have been a lot of Airdrops and Retrodrops that have generated big profits recently, it's just that we need to analyze projects that really have good potential in the future, never get involved with other people because that will waste your time. Especially if you take part in a retrodrop that requires capital, of course the analysis of the project you are taking part in must be detailed so that you don't lose. Usually retrodrop can also get profits many times over with the capital we have. This all requires sufficient knowledge, not reckless capital.

There is no airdrop that guarantees profit because there are so many participants. So if you don't want capital but want the airdrop to land in your wallet, you have to complete a lot of tasks and don't just work on one project, you have to work on many projects. That's absolutely correct altcoin and shiltcoin test is totally gambling most in the aspect in which their white paper is not clear enough and the team is not satisfactory, for the altcoin and shiltcoin one should have it in mind that venturing in is 50-50 to be more cautious because is mostly gambling.
Newly lunch project post higher risk than anything else going into it is not advisable except you have strong conviction base on who form part of the team you know.

It's ok if anybody wants to join in a test, but they should understand that any new projects is a potential risk and in the end it still comes down to gambling, because when they invest their money in a scam project, it won't matter if they test or not, their investment capital will eventually vanish with the project. It's important to research and try to understand the team behind a project, to reduce the chances of being involved in a scam, rather focusing on airdrops and any unrealistic promises that they can tell potential investors.

Too many of these airdrops have been there and I can say that most of them have been profitable. There are still a lot of projects that are into test nets and they want to have as much people test them and give them rewards. I don't get into it and just watch the market closely.

well honestly when a project is releasing their own blockchain probably layer 2 and is being invested heavily by certain companies and take example binance labs, its almost guaranteed that they definitely gonna have token at some point and there will always be some allocation for community. thats what I see from many projects i've seen some pattern here.
but definitely as you said, never expect to get airdrop as if the team owes us something because well they don't usually thats what happens whenever there's announcement that airdrop will have certain criteria to qualify.
some people are so hard on pushing to make themselves entitled for the reward but in reality its up to dev themselves, they can be making some ridiculous rule to qualify for airdrop and I guess they could get away with it since usually airdrop never disclose criteria from early because otherwise it will get farmed hard by bots and so on.
