Participating in testnet this days at your own risk. Although since money isn't involved, one can just risk it out if you don't mind wasting your time on it. The problem here is no one know which testnet will pay so you must try to do all that comes. Since the day of SEI and sui, I hardly partake in testnet. This is because it's time consuming and no one knows if they will eventually pay or not.

Yes its quite risky or unknown or sure income but some of these testnet werent the same with sui and sei that given a different approach on their participants. Im still doing some testnet hopign that it could yield some profits or valuable tokens later on but I know the risk of having no rewards at all unless it got specified by the project.

There is a lot of history in the crypto world that they will trick you into giving you money like bounty / airdrops. If you keep coming then it is wrong for you because you are only participating in bounty or airdrop but that money is in other people's pocket so they can do anything easily. We are only hopeful and depressed so to get out of this trap you have to do something different. In my opinion you should learn trading and also invest in the best currency and work on some good bounty.

There’s a lot of legit airdrop in crypto space right now. Most of this airdrop requires only to do some task to test and promote the project unlike before that you will just send your wallet address and wait for airdrops that has no value.

Startup project that launch airdrops now have their own VC to initially backed the project initial funding. You can consider the airdrop reward as salary for those who help the project on testing their product on early stage without expecting to be paid. Airdrop is real and much more safer than investing and trading because you only need to complete some task in able to receive this massive rewards.

If you did use those applications, I think you have gotten a lot of rewards by now and there are more upcoming. 2024 is going to be the year of airdrop and there are already few hyped project like layer zero, zksync, starknet and few other projects that can do airdrop program for their early users. This airdrops are going to be highly profitable for some users i have seen one guy earned more than millions of dollars by joining an airdrop in solana ecosystem.

If he earned that much money, it means he used multiaccounts, because I can't imagine any other way how you can earn that kind of money on retrodrops.

Yes, there were more than 9k wallets involved in that airdrop. This is not possible for a single person so i guess it was a team that farmed that airdrop and made that fortune. That was a risky move because if all of their wallets didn't meet the criteria, they would suffer massive losses by farming those airdrop. I have seen on social media some people in china were farming zksync airdrop and they have a professional setup like an office. I am just thinking about how crazy these people are about aidrop.

If projects that distribute retro drops or airdrops approached the multiaccount ban more responsibly and used more sophisticated verification tools, this would not have happened. And now, users with multiaccounts are stealing from conscientious people. By the way, I do not exclude the leakage of insider information before retrodrops, giving the opportunity to earn very big money to people from a close circle of developers.

I'll tell you a terrible secret - in 2017, there was the same situation with the value of altcoins when I was just starting to participate in bounty companies. You just need to learn how to choose good projects. 90% are shit coins.

Mate success is relative to person wise. I am talking about overall projects not specific one, Yer even I missed some 5 fig airdrops but able to get profit from participating testnet projects spending less than $20, Is it count as good fund collection method for participating mainnet projects?

Is the project retroactive? If you are not eligible, there may be several requirements that you do not fulfill. For example, your transaction value on the network is below the threshold, then you are not eligible for the airdrop.

You are right, people should try to avoid trying out new projects, it really doesn't end up with all that good result in the end and makes no sense to me at all. I understand that people will not be really all that smart when it comes to investing into new projects, so the best way to go about that would be avoiding them if they can. If they could do that then they would do a lot better and people need to focus on the stronger ones.

The best way to go right now would be just making sure that you are handling it well enough and that would result with you doing fine. I hope that people do not just put small amounts in dozens of projects just to make sure that one of them will do fine, because they could all literally crash to zero.

Whatever project you're testing mostly project will give you a reward for your contribution in the testnet, mostly we only need to a small amount to get the reward or only some few fees. Many new projects conduct a testnet with a reward to attract new investors so investors will know how the system works, and why it's unique/different from the others. But we should be careful with fake testnet website which can make our metamask compromised.

Engaging in testnet has become the order of the day as most projects are going that way now, knowing that hunters are prepared to indulge them. What most hunters expect is any free token they can hodl for the bull run. The belief is that any token, it doesn't matter what's the utility, hedl before the expected bull run will amount to something they can cash out with. It's a 50/50 thing, both for projects and hunters. In the recent past, some of the stories about testnet rewards haven't been palatable but that's what it's because projects don't say what their distribution will be like. Some of them even get to add more hurdles as interest soar for their projects and make it cumbersome for hunters. I know that won't deter the dogged hunters from indulging fresh ones springing up here and there. So, OP there's no guarantee what testnets will offer testers.

I really can't guess what project you are talking about.  But for advice, you have to read their rules and commitments in the testing program.  Make sure they promise decent value for your work.  And don't forget to see the potential the project has.  If there is nothing clear about it, it is better to just not go along with it.  Why you wasting your time for useless things?  Especially if it requires you to spend your dollars to buy their coins with tempting promises.  Stay away from them.  It's better to invest in coins that are already has names.

Actually, there have been a lot of Airdrops and Retrodrops that have generated big profits recently, it's just that we need to analyze projects that really have good potential in the future, never get involved with other people because that will waste your time. Especially if you take part in a retrodrop that requires capital, of course the analysis of the project you are taking part in must be detailed so that you don't lose. Usually retrodrop can also get profits many times over with the capital we have. This all requires sufficient knowledge, not reckless capital.

There is no airdrop that guarantees profit because there are so many participants. That's absolutely correct altcoin and shiltcoin test is totally gambling most in the aspect in which their white paper is not clear enough and the team is not satisfactory, for the altcoin and shiltcoin one should have it in mind that venturing in is 50-50 to be more cautious because is mostly gambling.
Newly lunch project post higher risk than anything else going into it is not advisable except you have strong conviction base on who form part of the team you know.
