Investing altcoins now or during halving?

Currently Altcoins are start growing and crypto market condition is pretty good as every where is green. And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.
So are you going to pick your altcoins Now??  Or During/After BTC Halving while you can buy altcoins with low price?

It depends on when I can avail them but if I invest, I'd do it before the halving happens. Just as bitcoin does, most of the altcoins are also going to move anyway after Bitcoin's reaction after the halving. If you have a better choice and you're able to buy at the same season then that's much better. You'll also DCA just as what everyone does with Bitcoin, if you are able to do so with altcoins and you should have done it before the halving for actual Bitcoin so you don't miss both ends.

Just think of the scenario what will happens if bitcoin ETF approval news comes out tomorrow and the price of bitcoin starts pumping? Whales who are holding various altcoin all this time will start selling their altcoin to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin will pump but altcoin will bleed heavily. So my prediction is there will be more chances to buy altcoin in the coming month. So if you are tracking some altcoin that you want to buy for the next bull season then be prepared for the upcoming discount price in the altcoin market.

If you want to get some short term profit then you can still invest in the altcoin which hasn't pumped much till now because the month of December can also be in the positive side. So there is still chances to grow altcoins before anything bad happens to the market.

I reckon about alts that have real use cases. But we can also see that this market have people that are interested over nonsense altcoins and they're pumping. I am not saying people should invest on those because no matter what happens, it's your money and I am just saying that there were pumps that do happen like those, right? It's gonna be a choice of yours on how you'd be selecting them because not all alts are worth to invest but can't also deny that even the most worthless alt can pump due to hype.

It's impossible to Guage the bottom so if you don't want to miss out but don't want to buy too high than dollar cost average weekly or monthly.  So instead of going all in buy some now and some later.  That way ypu don't miss a pump completely but don't have the downside risk of your full bag if it drops.

You can start anytime as long as you have the extra money intended for crypto investments.
Ideally, buying during the dump price are more advisable since its cheaper but we cannot force anyone to buy if they are not ready and still waiting for more confirmations before they buy.

The only difference here is the possible price value before and during the halving, there’s no guarantee than the price will rise during halving anyway that’s why you should focus more on your strategy and know when to buy and sell.

It's a hard call to make. This os because the market is currently bullish and the deadline ofor several ETF is early January but top traders I know are expecting one more big drop to occur before we can consider the market to be in upONLY mode — however, in previous bull runs, the market doesn't trend upwards (strongly) until after the halving events; several months even. But the idea is that this bull run (or the upcoming) is different.

I believe pre halving we may see a correction probably January something like that, don't chase greens just because your favorite influencer tend to talk about it. Moreover, in the long term it will come to fruition so now probably look for narrative that will play major role in the coming bull run and look for those laggard/low cap altcoins.

If I were you, don't wait for them to finally get bullish before buying but have them now. Well, I'm sure that you also know how to wait but if you are an impatient person, this will never work. We are expecting the bull season will come after halving but yes, the market seems looking good and pumping which I don't think we could ignore the chance while these potential coins are cheap. We should have taken action/decision before it was too late or else, we wait for another market cycle.

Market is green now but i guess a drop to be happened due to halving. But don't be panic much. If you are already holding altcoins then don't need to sell it for panic but of course you can use DCA if you wish to do by using your relax mindset. Everyone is expecting bullish after halving and we believe that the best time to accumulate coins is before the said event. Several times we have been given the chance, yet many people still ignore it. If we still miss this chance before halving, I don't think we still dare to invest when the price of altcoins is already xxx high than today, of course, we don't. Therefore, we should have to invest wisely and think about the future bullish rather than thinking about the possible dumps that will happen before halving. Because as long as we hold them, nothing will be lost on our side.

At this moment I think most of the Altcoins have already pumped which makes me little bit hesitant to invest because what if the market starts turning red in form of correction phase? Usually we will see a correction phase before the halving which still has over four months to go but it's better to stay conscious because had it been Bitcoin we can suggest you may enter anything if you are looking for hodl but Altcoin is a different use case where it takes ages but still some major altcoins will not be able to breach previous ATH. I think this is not the right moment, let's wait for halving event and it's effect on Altcoins.

Don't mind the people that have ignored it. They knew about what was coming but they chose not to do any actions because they think that they are better than the others. If the bull market comes after the halving which is for sure gonna happen, they'll just do a FOMO scene for themselves because they've missed a lot of opportunities when the market was so sluggish, slow and stagnant and too low. But this time, we're starting to see that every move in the market is going to be significant and our actions now will determine our future then.

investing during halving will more likely to put you in a difficult position where the entry price gonna be quite high since the rumour already make the price so high even altcoin, investing is definitely better when we are still in bearish, right now if you see we are still so far away from all time high and will probably still in bearish.
im gonna say that since halving since quite faraway I think investing right now is still somewhat viable since even if bitcoin is getting into ATH you already making 3 times the profit meanwhile we don't know whether bitcoin is already nearing all time high when halving is arriving, not to mention the fact that ETF approval news are gonna be arriving in next year around the same as halving if things went smoothly.

bitcoin halving will definitely allow for increase in demand due to its scarcity which might draw all the attention towards bitcoin and less in altcoins but at the same time altcoins moves almost together with bitcoin the price surge of bitcoin might indicate good prospects for the overall cryptocurrency scene investors might associate bitcoin’s high value to being trustworthy and having good profit so they might invest in altcoins as well

I can say that it is possible to see a drop prior to halving because it's always been the case on this market. We will never know when the pump will be but it's almost certain that we get a drop at most times.

But don't be panic much. If you are already holding altcoins then don't need to sell it for panic but of course you can use DCA if you wish to do by using your relax mindset.

Those that are selling for panic will learn their lessons. If there is no reason to sell, please don't do that because you have no reason to sell and wait until you are no longer in panic and decide to sell at the right time or thinking that you are.

Not yet on high but we're going to that point. If you guys think that this is already that high, we're not yet on the peak of this cycle. Wait until the halving is done and that's where the high, peak and bull market shall enter.

Can i ask you why do you think we are still in bearish? There hasn't been new really decent drop since 2022 i don't think we are dropping to those levels again. Not at least any coin that i am following. Everything seems healthy even though market seems to be unsure. But i do agree that now would be a good time. Even though there might be slight drops coming, we can't time the market so that it would be optimal. Waiting for new ATL is a sure way to miss any rocket.

I am very cautious and wishing i would had more in alts now, but i am waiting for paycheck to get more as i didn't cash out at the top.

The whales have been accumuilating it since bitcoin was traded at the bottom. When we are being so close to the halving and the hype will be more massive. FYI, theer have been some rumors said that BTC ETF will be approved soon.
It was making the hype becomes even bigger than before. People are now trusting bitcoin. Bitcoin is freedome and a way to make you rich as long as you were investing in the right token.

I have picked my altcoins when the bitcoin has traded below 20k. Why are you talking about this when the price of bitcoin was almost 40k again? The bull has been coming since bitcoin was getting massive recovery from under 20k.
You have been too late in picking some altcoins but it's not yet late waiting for another ATH to come. I have expecting bitcoin to have another new ATH probably after halving. I have prepared all of my altcoins for that time.
