It's never a great idea to chase price and chasing price is buying when price has already left its station. In my books, doing that doesn't show any financial shrewdness. No one should wait until price has kicked off before buying. Again, now is a good time to get into whatever tokens/coins that caught one's attention during the slurring days of the market. Don't wait for Bitcoin halving before buying. Buy now.

For anyone waiting for the market to bottom out so they can catch the very bottom, they should know that market bottom only becomes visible after price has left. No one catches the bottom while price is still there.

That's true, chasing prices or trying to time the market is never a good idea because even those who are very good at doing research and analysis wouldn't be able to time the market perfectly because the market is highly volatile and you will never know what point is exactly the top or the bottom and when you should buy and sell so that you get the best buying or selling price, there will always be a small amount that you will miss, and even if you time the market very well, it will merely be a coincidence and it can't be done all the time.

So, it's better if an investor sells or buys when they think the time is right and they cannot get a better price than the current one, or one can simply DCA when buying and selling in portions when they wish to sell, in this way, you won't regret buying or selling early as you will still have an opportunity ahead no matter which direction the market moves.

The misconception is; many people thinks that the bullrun will start right after the halving but if we would check the market wayback the previous halving, the pump took place after a couple of months. So if the question is the perfect time to invest then I'd say after the mentioned event. Too late to do that if you buy during halving, just missing up the chance of buying cheap. In fact, we were given the chance early this year when the price of altcoins was very cheap even for Bitcoin but we are already on the move going high, supposedly we're done filling our bags before the end of this year. But for those who still don't have any investment yet, we should have to decide now before halving. Perhaps, that is supposed the thing we do because it was hard to expect a huge market correction after halving as we are expecting bull season to come.

If you have a large amount of money to invest, it is better to buy coins in instalments and choose several projects. And of course, you should have free money to buy in case the price drops. Now that the growth has started, it is better to sell gradually to buy again before or after the halving.

Before buying cheapest crypto you must choose that which crypto currencies you want to buy. With a good analysis you can make a decision which cryptocurrencies are the best and can perform well.
And if you will be updated and will see the developments of any cryptocurrency so you should be able to make decision that you should buy that cryptocurrency or not.

When it comes to investing, looking for cheapest coin is not really the goal, what investors are looking for are for assets that are undervalued and that could reevaluate soon, and in many cases there are very strong reasons why a coin has a cheap price, so it is better to leave them alone.

Right now the best option is still to remain invested in bitcoin, and only once the altcoin season starts, an investor could consider to switch to altcoins.

Indeed, no one is able to ensure market movements perfectly and regarding our preparation in terms of purchasing a gradual system, I think it is good and a wise step, but we have to hold it for a long time, especially when we buy it for a while and then the price drops.

One more thing, prepare reserve funds in the form of USDT or something else as re-entry capital and withdraw at the lowest price when this happens.

DCA's strategy for investing on altcoin is highly risky and I wouldn't recommend at all, better just apply the strategy only for bitcoin and few altcoins that is here with years of price history to analyze and predict their future movements. But not much of the altcoins that exists longer are not doing that geat if we compare it with side by side on Bitcoin's growth since its last ATH.

Yes, that's right, because when you spend money without controlling when and how much to spend at a time, you create potential losses, especially in some new altcoins, especially for dumps because the effect of news/airdrop distribution is quite deep and usually doesn't go beyond resistance too quickly (normal price is stable before), I experienced it and it was difficult to convince myself that the potential to continue breaking through the nearest bottom would potentially exist. Dividing several sessions, for example 4-8 sessions, every time there is a decline with a saturation point that I usually see, if the ratio is 2:1, of course I can accept that there is still a percentage of profit that will appear which is reasonable because altcoins are quite different from bitcoin.

In my opinion, now is the right time to start investing in altcoins, because currently the crypto market has started to improve and on average all altcoins are green, but before making this investment you have to focus more on the planned strategy and know right time to sell the coin, because as far as I know there is no guarantee that the coin price will rise during the halping.

Bitcoin having will take Bitcoin to a new place with a new all-time high price record. When the halving starts, the market does not pump instantly and it doesn't happen overnight. It could take months even sometimes years for this to happen. But the best bet is going to be Bitcoin. Altcoin market moves based on sentiment that is attached to Bitcoin market and price pump for altcoin will happen after Bitcoin market rises.

If you are seeing good gains in altcoin investment, you should do it and keep that profit for later usage for buying Bitcoin before halving. This is just my personal opinion but I will invest in Bitcoin and when I make profit from it, I will use that profit to invest into altcoin later on. We are close to halving, and there isn't much time left according to some experts. So if you haven't made any investment in the market till now and are still waiting for a major correction then you should start your DCA from now on until the bull appears in the market. Market rallied after red september but it is nothing compared to what is upcoming. So as you have said whats left will only be regret if you don't take any action right now. That doesn't mean you will go all in at once. Just try to invest gradually to build up a portfolio.

Don't forget about "buy the rumor, sell the news". There will be lot of people anticipating a price increase during the halving. They will all start investing as much as they can before the halving. The price will start going up. And when finally the halving happens, there will be people selling their coins to take their profit, cause the price to go down. So yeah, in the short run, there is a chance the price might go down a little after the halving, but in the long run, it will cause the price to go up. Same goes for altcoins, but in this case the altcoins are more volatile and riskier. Go for the top altcoins that are well known if you want to risk less and always invest what you can afford to lose. Don't get greedy and spread your investments!

An interesting idea from you and if we look at market behavior sometimes it is like that. But the underlying benefit is that in the end it's just that the way each person does it is different. it may look less soft. I can understand they may not like to buy after the sudden recovery we have been experimenting, and some of them may like to wait to do this until a correction takes place, but since there is no way to know if the correction will actually come, they need to take a decision and do so soon.
