If I said that the halving won’t necessarily bring about a bull run, I’ll have people coming for me, arguing and debating that I do not know what a Bitcoin Halving means. So, I’ll just say that when you’re deciding which project to invest in, choose something that can survive, something that has potential and is actively under development. I’m saying this because many altcoins have crumbled, and they were once trusted too. If you make the right choice, you can be sure that whenever the bull run comes, you’ll definitely watch your portfolio go up too.

You'll also DCA just as what everyone does with Bitcoin, if you are able to do so with altcoins and you should have done it before the halving for actual Bitcoin so you don't miss both ends.

DCA's strategy for investing on altcoin is highly risky and I wouldn't recommend at all, better just apply the strategy only for bitcoin and few altcoins that is here with years of price history to analyze and predict their future movements.

The strategy itself is also applicable to altcoins. But the risk depends on their choice but if you'll choose the common ones, I don't think there's a problem with that. There is no doubt that it's best done with Bitcoin but it's a strategy that is also fine with other cryptos.

But not much of the altcoins that exists longer are not doing that geat if we compare it with side by side on Bitcoin's growth since its last ATH.

There are many of them so the choice varies. If you go over with the top rank altcoins, it's your choice. I've seen people that even DCA it with unknown and random altcoins that they find and believed to have a potential to grow someday.

You misunderstand if you assume the prices of altcoins will be lower during/after the halving. You must know that most altcoins follow the trend of Bitcoin price. When the price of Bitcoin increases significantly during/after the halving, the prices of altcoins will increase significant as well. In this matter, surely it is better to buy altcoins now, the prices are lower now. If you wait for halving, you probably will buy altcoins with more expensive prices.

Actually, the best time to buy altcoins and Bitcoin were during the first year of bearish season. Since the peak of bullrun season was in 2021, the best time for entry was in 2022. At that time, the prices of most crypto coins dropped very significantly. Even, there were altcoins that dropped the prices more than 90%. But since many FUDs at that time, many people feel worried to buy and missed the chance to buy at the cheapest prices.

Since altcoins are of different types, we should always be prepared to invest funds that we know e are ready to lose or we can afford to lose in the market. Cryptocurrency has different opportunity for us to earn profits but when we do things the wrong way we might have to lose because of our unfortunate decisions. Cryptocurrency is a sphere we can make profits from but when we do things in the wrong process, we might be lucky to still have winnings or unfortunately make loses. We need to calculate ourselves and make decisions that will hunt us.

well i guess thats also whats in my mind, a halving doesn't necessarily guarantee that there gonna be bullrun, sometime it might be just some slight pump and then its done but usually what come after halving is what decide the market whether its gonna be bullrun or not I remember back then after halving the trend of the market was changing, it geared towards positive trend and therefore many people are so eager to invest that even institutional investors are also interested in investing.
but regardless right now the market is already looking good anyway so whether there gonna be halving or not, which of course there is, i expect the market to grow from here on, im so eager to see what all time high this bull market gonna be hitting maybe in next year something big will happen and altcoin season will arrive also.
after all, we got the news of ETF both for ethereum and bitcoin which gonna be huge in the future, we will see about it next year.

And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.

I think I'll wait for the halving to finish as all the hype will be around Bitcoin and many altcoin wouldn't get attention. The attention will come after Bitcoin dominance had begin to reduce and I think this will happen after the hype of halving has passed. Just to avoid regrets, I won't totally ignore all altcoins as I'll be buying some high market valued coins as they also benefits from the hype of Bitcoin but the coins that can give you big projects would rise later.

After the halving, I'll start investing in low market coins as they hold the best potential to make you lots of profits but there's also the possibility of losing too. Don't invest only in low market coin but invest in big ones too as you don't know which particular coin will do so well that you can make lots of profits. Invest in presale and also projects that have listed on exchanges too.

I wouldn't, because I agree with that. The halving isn't something that makes Bitcoin or the market grow magically in no time, it's just an event that cuts the block reward in half which doesn't affect the price immediately but it just reduces the amount of Bitcoins that will come in circulation after that point. The actual reason for the bull run is the fact that people start buying more after or around the halving because of the belief that the market is going to go up after it and that belief and confidence boosts the demand which in return makes the price go high.

So, there is nothing to argue about this as it is a fact, halving isn't the actual reason for the bull run but it's the other things involved with it that make the market go up. Some people might not accept this or say it's not correct but in reality, that's what happens whether we believe it or not.

Agree since its hard to buy when the price of altcoins is now going up so for sure we will be in FOMO situation and it will be so bad for us if we bought at the top since there's big chance that we will get left behind then a lot of investor will take their profit while us still expecting about more pumps to happen. If we see our altcoins watched have good potential then its better to acquire right now especially if we see some little actions since there's good chance that we can earn with it once that project join together with the hype brought up by halving season.

Well, this works but it also depends on the investment goals of the person. Not everyone wants to do long term investments. For some people, they don’t have the patience so they rather just do a short term investment. I would say that those people who are waiting till it’s the halving are short term investors because as a long term investor, you know that you don’t have to wait. You purchase it now and when the short term investors would be happy, you’d be happy too. Me too, I think now is a better time to buy because the market is generally looking good.

Which is right,  since the market is unstable you can take advantage of high volatility but also you need to make sure that you understand the possibility,  if you think that the timing is correct then grab your opportunities,  there's no one who can accurately predict the market everyone has their own predictions but  securing the next movement its your call to make.

thats right but investing when the price falling far from all time high could also be one of the most effective strategy there is, basically just giving higher chance of making profit along the way.
its quite different with buying at the peak, but regardless even those that bought at the peak could still be making some profit if they are patient enough to wait until the next bullrun in the future which I assume gonna be 3-4 years of wait.
in this case preference of trading, basically the flexibility of waiting for few years to come and the fact that we are investing using money that we don't really need to fulfil basic needs have big role in success.
but honestly i would never invest when the price is already getting high anyway, just don't want to get fomo'd and then regretting my decision for the next 4 years because waiting that long i could've used the money for various investment and get much much more profit than just waiting for that long, after all, there's also risk of altcoin being replaced by newest one.

Few do not follow the Bitcoin trend depending on the hype and currently, Solana is looking good. It has already crossed the $100 mark and if goes on like the way it has been then it will hit $500 after halving. There is another cryptocurrency that has been performing similarly and it is AVAX. At the moment it is moving upward steadily, by next year it should be near $100 and after halving I think it would break its ATH.

The present situation of market suggests that everyone should select a coin that is of huge demands as it will put positive effects on the worth of selected altcoins. In my opinion every altcoin is going as a successful coin these days and you can take the example of Solana which was fall down to 8$ but now it attained the value of 113$ which is appreciable pump as Compared to other coins.

Its a better timing to invest in altcoins but you can take profit from it after halving as that time will be a suitable time for  selling of altcoins and I think that once again Solana will attain the previous target of more than 250$. It is depended on a person that which coin he is assumed to act better during coming Bull season but i just think that Ethereum and Solana are better choice.

altcoin must grow because I know quite well that if bitcoin is having positivity in the market any other hot coin will also have a positive reaction in the market so that is why everyone look up to Bitcoin because immediately Bitcoin is experiences increase in the market every other coin that I have a good potential will also experience a little bit positive in the market

Market prices have been going down lately because of the "buy the rumor, sell the news" event. It's the perfect time to grab altcoins at a discount before BTC goes through the halving. I believe the market will turn bullish afterwards (as it has been shown in the past). My eyes are on both Solana and Ethereum, as they're the top coins for "De-Fi" and NFTs. It's likely they will reach a new ATH soon. We can't discard BSC either (the chain of BNB), especially when it's backed by the world's largest crypto exchange.

Exciting times ahead for the whole crypto/Blockchain industry. Just keep buying, and holding, and forget about the rest.

It is really difficult to precisely point the transition. Market observers find it perfect, if not we should just invest now on low price altcoins and wait for the rise of bitcoin.
