Suicide is never an option whether it's lose of money, or lose of a loved ones or any kind of lose in life. It certainly never was and never will be. It’s really very sad news i read this story, although i heard a lot of such incidents even in my country, I think this is the result of excessive greed in the gambling, I don’t know why should he made a bet in such a large amount where if he loses he may lose everything and even his life, because there are no sure win guarantee in gambling so definitely it was big mistake by him because we should to make a bet with affordable amount which will not any bad impact in our life if we will loses.

Yes it should be like that, I think no matter how big the problem they are experiencing but it is still stupid if they commit suicide or choose that action, however life cannot be paid for with anything because it is so precious. I think it looks like the man has a very weak mentality or and at that time emotions were so uncontrollable that he was desperate to end his life.

Apparently this is a true live event happened in my State this week and almost everyone is talking about it. About a young man that killed himself after a gamble loss, he even left a message for his family and friends before taking his life.  But I wonder why should someone take his own life  just because he lost  #2.5 million to gambling an amount  equivalent to just about $3k. Just reading this now but that's terrible.  Gambling addiction and evening just gambling above your means is insanely detrimental to people.  I couldn't stomach gambling enough to where if I lose I would consider ending my life it's just not worth it.  It's just money.  I hope someone will at least see this amd think twice about going "all in" hopefully saving someone else's life.

Gambling addiction and going beyond the limits is always risky. As most gamblers mentioned we should know our limits. These incidents were a learning for most of the gamblers here. Myself had the thoughts of ending life, which is really bad. When we're in loss many things reach our mind, but we should not take the decision to end life in any situation. With modern laws on bankruptcy and being able to move on and restart nobody should be suffering such a fate.  It is a mistake based off a poor frame of mind, emotional upset and such a person requires counselling  and good advice to best guide them, they are lost but can be better helped if the thoughts of this person is realized in time.

This is common news if you'll ask me. A lot of people who are in too deep in the gambling scene's looking at suicide as a final resort. I often see reddit threads about this topic too, where casino staff who obscures their identity on reddit confess about the dark sides of the casino industry, with suicides in the bathroom stalls or their complementary hotel rooms being a common scene. This is the sad story I ever heard from a young man who has a future rather than focusing just on gambling. I don't know what exactly his mental state was at that time, maybe he had another problem which may be the main trigger to killing his self, because for me, no matter how much i am lost, I can still calm myself, and thinking if the money can be found and earned again by working, but life?, It's just once, we can not recovered again like like we're looking for money.

Yeah, you have a point but even those religious people have this kind of suicide thoughts once they experienced heavy problem in their life, even if they cry, pray and rest a lot, still there's a big problem waiting for them that's why so many intrusive thoughts comes to their mind.
