One should not take any life-threatening decision because of gambling losses. The gambler must remember that life is worth more than money. I believe that gamblers who take such suicidal decisions are gambling with emotion which should never be acceptable. A gambler must not equate emotion and gambling. It’s really very sad news i read this story, although i heard a lot of such incidents even in my country, I think this is the result of excessive greed in the gambling, I don’t know why should he made a bet in such a large amount where if he loses he may lose everything and even his life, because there are no sure win guarantee in gambling so definitely it was big mistake by him because we should to make a bet with affordable amount which will not any bad impact in our life if we will loses.

It's just sad that we can read such news stories that a life has been lost due to losing a large amount of money in gambling. But that is not enough reason to commit suicide. The gambler who died could have prevented that suicide.

This story keep appearing on my timeline during the early time of the suicide so I could not help but I read what really happened, he actually borrowed huge amount of money to stake a bet and he loss so he could not resist the force and frustration. Just imagine paying such huge amount of money but suicide is never an option. He never really had someone to talk to like a family cause I believe his family would have stop the process, why will a grown up man decide to commit suicide because of depression for not winning a bet although with such huge amount he would have respected himself when thinking of taking loan to bet.

For this reason, it is important that we assess the circumstances surrounding our current condition. Its not on the amount of bet that the gambler will chose to suicide, but surely it’s on the amount of losses that ends up with a big debt which made the gambler very desperate and decide to take his own life. People like this should not gamble in the first place because once they cannot managed their frustrations and have no one to share their financial problems, they will end up with a decision that they will regret for the rest of their lives.

I really blame him not for using that huge amount of money but for using a money he can't avoid to lose. Some people bet with money more than that and they move on with life if the game loses. Such people bet with such money because they can avoid it. Imitating people in gambling is wrong because you never know the actual income of the person you are imitating. He's may gamble with $3 but make that $3k just be 5% of his month earnings. While you with the same $3k as your monthly earnings they imitate such person in gambling. You will end up regretting. I just observed recently that it isn't only greediness that make people bet beyond their earnings but also imitation of friends or neighbor as well.
