So Skel has raised an interesting poll in twitter. In light of this, I wonder what does the bitcointalk community think about this? since there's a good chance team is reading this thread, think we can start a discussion about this as well.

Personally, I think any is fine but it's nice to have such option hence the vote. 🤔

PS: appreciate the well wishes on my recent win! it ain't much but it's honest work haha.
Hidden is ok, I support it because it for privacy of their customers.

Yeah, the team are listening to bitcointalk community discussion to improve their platform, let me bring one more idea.
  • If possible, the team can consider to allow users to change their usernames.
  • I know duelbits allowing their users to change usernames, no limit on how many times of username changes.

Yep, Hidden username is good for privacy purposes besides even if a user disclosed their username there’s no way to verify if the account is legit or not if the main issue is the authenticity if the account is organic or bot.

Being a bot account is always the main concern on hidden username users especially if they are competing with the tournament and winning due to huge wager. But if a casino is trusted and can guarantee fairness then I don’t have any concerns about hidden username since I usually hide too my username if there’s an option to do that coz I don’t want anyone seeing all my lose bets. Lmao.

Those things will became an issue if the casino is shady, but in case of Metawin their community would understand towards that situation since they are into privacy in first place. Also for sure lots of people gamble their is happy with generous giveaways including those free drops emailed to their active users.

Those hidden usernames is less concern of people since they provably how Metawin towards this matter and they always make sure to be fair to everyone playing on their casino. I also don't have any concern towards those hidden username. I mind my own business while playing and don't get bother to think about those necessary things since somehow I understand that some whales wants privacy that's why they preferred to hide their usernames.

I support this option for privacy purposes but then there is another problem. I, as a gambler, want a transparent gambling process. I want to be sure that the player who won it, actually won it and it's not a casino using their own bots. But on the other hand, I, as a gambler, don't want other people to see how much I won because then my friends might ask me for money, so in that part, I want a feature that will hide my name.

Metawin is a trustworthy casino, there are no doubts about that but they are in front of a dilemma in this case because this feature has very good pros and very bad cons. I appreciate that they let their userbase to decide the fate of this feature. That's the most fair thing to do.

@MetaWin_Official, there is a visual issue on your website that needs fix, click on the image to zoom and see in full resolution.

I see on your website that when a person uses Web3 Wallet, they are able to deposit/withdraw up 30 ETH per day without human interaction. Long story short, as I understood, on your platform, playing with web3 wallet offers numerous advantages over traditional, custodial wallet. Why is that? And how is that possible?
If someone uses web3 wallet, they don't have to submit KYC, right?

Also, a small tip: Add multiple languages on your casino, for example, Spanish, German, that will be cool.

I understand these concerns and your post brings nothing new to me, but you know when I am reading your post, I think of something that can be a helpful idea for the team.

The feature for hiding username can be applied universal or only in a specific game, tournament, event. Use this feature or not, and if use, where to apply this feature, it's up to a user.

If a user wants privacy, he will apply this feature universal on all places, games, tournaments, events on the platform.
If a user wants privacy selectively, he will apply this feature on specific places like only in events, contests.

Is it possible for the platform to build, I don't know. I'm not a programmer.

New game provider just dropped.

As usual, there are:
1. Multiplier contest exclusive for skywind games with $2500 prize pool and top 100 positions paid.
2. $5 bonus for those who wager at least 20 bucks -- first 500 only. Claim the code through the boost channel: https://t.me/MWINBOOSTS

I also saw a new promo for e-sports that rewards free bets, see: https://metawin.com/promotions/esport-special/

That's show how transparent they are for releasing those gains by some people. They want to make sure that what they post is true.
I think it is also because of what they said that they are Web3 and it is about decentralization, but I love this. Even before, I'm always among those millions of people who are annoyed about these 'hidden' players. They are the reason on why we think a casino is shady but it seems they are only unaffected with that because they didn't change or remove those and they are lucky that there are still people who play on them.

But regarding on that situation I am half fine towards making the name of winner anonymous since somehow not everyone really like to get exposed or announce that they win such huge amount of money.
They are overacting because it was only the username are the ones who will be shown but unless if what they inputted in their usernames are their real names, though I think that was unlikely and the whole name (plus family name) won't likely fit in the text field anymore.
