In my opinion, both ocassions (when one wins and when one losses) are pretty good to take a short break off gambling.
When losing money, one needs to relax and digest the reality and the money one lost, some time for us to let that money go and allow reality to sink in.

On the other hand, taking a break to enjoy money one could have won during a good session is also very tempting and it is the ideal case when observed from the point of view of the gambler. Though, being realistic about these scenarios, it is very unlikely most gamblers will stop wagering on their preferred casinos just because they have managed to win money, in reality, they will continue to gamble and try to further increase their winning as much as possible, and we all know how that ends up: with gamblers losing both their winning and their assigned gambling budget dor that session.
No need to say taking breaks and setting back to think thinga over can help to avoid chancing losses recklessly.

In addition, we must know the amount of winnings, exceeding which we will end the game forever. Personally, I set a limit to both winning and losing. With winning, I tend to stop whenever I hit 50% of my betting capital for that day as profit and same thing goes with losing however there are times I do consume all of my daily capital for gambling whenever I feel like it.  I think things are still working fine on my gambling journey using this method; even if I lose the capital for that day, as long as I don't extend my betting budget, then I am still following the alloted budget and things are still going with what I expect my betting habits to be managed by myself. I think this is easy for a sporty person. When you make an initial deposit which is alway a limited amount of money and by the rules, you can't make additional deposit for risk management. When you stake your games, you don't know the outcome until all the event are played and then you can know the next step, if your deposit exceed your bankroll, you can continue to play but if you accrued loss, then you stop for that day and go again next time, some people do take a week or some days.

As for casino person, I think your mind can tell you when things are about to be wrong. Actually, win or lose, limits should still be applied in gambling, because after all, management is the most important thing when you are in an activity that is full of possible risks. But I see that most gamblers have difficulty in applying this limit, especially when they are in a losing situation that dominates, usually they act even crazier with the aim of returning something that has been lost before which actually that action will only increase the number of losses.

Yes of course, it seems like I also lose more than I win. Since I only make small deposits, around $10 or $20, I usually wait to win 2x or 1.5x before withdrawing some or all of it. Maybe if my deposit is large I don't wait to win at least 50% before withdrawing my balance.

The best time to stop is when you are losing and also when you are winning. In the gambling activities that I do, to prevent things from happening that I don't expect, I try to set a maximum deposit limit and also a winning target. and I try to implement this, solely to prevent bigger losses and also to prevent the loss of the winnings that I have obtained. Exactly, no one likes losing and in gambling losing is something that has a greater chance than winning. I like your way when you will stop at any time, whether when you lose or win, it is time management that you use to avoid something that we don't want to experience in gambling.
