There is always a trap in gambling and foe a gambler to escape that trap is not easy. And the trap is one win and serval lose. When you win one big, you will be motivated to play more to win more so to draw the line when you are winning is not easy and not possible. But it is only possible when someone lose frequently. As for me I can't give the best option because I am not a chronic gambler and I gamble whenever I feel like or if there is spare funds in my wallet. And leaving gambling nis from the mind of the gambler and not because he lose big or win big. It is just a determination of the person. I stopped when I realized that I would not be able to make it a permanent way of earning money or after a loss, I don’t even remember. But this does not mean that I stopped completely, but only significantly reduced the number and size of bets, I still like them and poker too, I don’t play other gambling games, at least at the moment. Well,  commonly my mind is racing over breaking my   gambling adventure in both cases. Sure I'm not concerned with the  groats but when the case is the considerable sum of money I usually stop, trying to remain realistic. I feel myself more comfortable  stopping the gambling than proceeding knowing that the latter may result in the shitty thing for my pockets,  which are either full or empty.

But most of the time it would really be driven out by your own common sense most of the time. Even if we dosay that someone isnt really that not prepared into those conditions but each one of us does have that kind of self awareness of things on which it would really be that impossible that you wont be able to notice out or mind about on the current condition or situation that you are in. This is why we cant really be able to have that kind of reasoning that we dont really know on what we are doing because on the time or moment that you do gamble then pretty sure that you are aware that you are already losing so much money.

Actually, I want to say that this question should be one more option and that is both i.e. before gambling make a personal strategy on the based of your budget  or what you can lose that will not have any effect on yourself or your family.

When you will go for gambling you will face both loss and winn but chasing only one of them I think it will be stupidity it should be by the pre strategy and after that it can be when you lose or when you win. There is no right answer to that one.  Before you alstart a ruling session set a walk away goal amd once you hit that leave or once you lose to your walk away mark then walk.  So sometimes you will walk on a hot streak amd sometimes on a bad luck streak.  Defining your goals prior to gambling makes that decision easy if you are determined enough to stick to it.

If it got busted, then, wait for another period to replenish your budget. Discipline is your biggest enemy here. And most are failing to withstand this enemy, as they are slaves of their desires. But the flip side of that is that if you put just a bit of money in there, then you can't really make too much money.

At least not an amount that will be life changing, so why bother?

I think both sides of the argument have a point, that you should either bet a lot to see if you win, or bet a little to keep it safe.

Of course the simplest way to wealth is to do something else instead of gambling
