The regular contests can certainly be seen as promotional campaigns, though, because given the limited number of participants, it’s relatively likely that you’ll win one of these contests sooner or later. So it definitely pays to participate.

If I remember correctly I was in this campaign and I don't recall having seen any signup bonus or anything like that. Also wouldn't make too much sense. Too bad though the campaign ended at some point.

I actually remember that signature campaign, because all participats were supposed to wear some whale character/mascot on their profile picture and it was colorful enough for it to remain in my memory. I am not sure it was also accompanied with some welcome bonuses for people from this forum though.

I am sure if I had a casino and i did not have enough money to keep a perpetual signatura campaign here on the forum, then i would look for ways to keep people's attention once i had already caught it with the initial signature campaign.

the important thing on a casino is how they keep their community engage after the campaign in over and how they keep their good reputation in the long term.
The impression i have gotten so far from comments here in this thread is that Whale is a decent casino and worth trying, though, i would have liked if they still ran some community focused bonuses or events.
