I tried to participate in this
quiz about Whale and I got the same problem twice. After this question the quiz won't continue and the error occurred. At first I thought it was due to my unstable Internet connection (I live in Kyiv, there is a catastrophe with electricity here right now), but I don't think this is the main reason. Maybe something wrong with the quiz itself?
Either there is actually a problem with the quiz itself (which I find hard to believe, as Whale would have received a lot of feedback about it and either taken the quiz offline or revised it), or it is due to your browser.
The quizzes are based on JavaScript, which may be blocked or affected by browser plugins or the browser itself. So you could try opening the quiz in a different browser (Firefox instead of Chrome, etc.) or try the quiz in incognito mode without any plugins loaded. This often works wonders and allows you to complete the quiz without any problems.
Thanks for the advice Lakai01. It didn’t work right away, but in a new browser I was able to switch between questions manually. I still got the same screen after question five that wouldn’t let me go further, but this time I was able to move to the next question using the arrow, and it worked. I’ve already posted my result. As always, Whale is super cool and interesting.
