I remember when I was in middle school, we used to play cards almost every day, and our stupidity reached the point where we would skip classes while we were inside school. The method of playing was easy, as the largest number was the winning card. So, some of my friends and I would gather in the middle school bathroom and make bets with the money that we had collected  from selling cigarettes.
Of course, this is not something I am proud of and I do not recommend it to everyone, but it's just childhood memories .

-Have you ever bet at the wrong place and the wrong time?

I remember having make some bets with friends on some sport or random events during my scolarity, but unfortunately the gambling culture is not very developed in my country. And people don't like that very much, because it implies to have to accept, or sometimes to claim, money to someone you know when you win. And people don't like that, but in countries where betting is common, people should find that more natural and are not uncomfortable with it I guess.

Ain't really childhood memory for me, mine was at teenage, you know the shit, just getting a little freedom on making your own decisions but the never come home late rule and all that, I was hanging out with some notorious gang back I'm school were I was introduced to street racing using skates, we would place our bets with the board man and get the rolling going, mom was so furious when she found out not about the skating but the bad friends, I was grounded for 2 weeks, I even skipped lots of classes for doing that.

Betting has been one of the craziest things that have made me too go backward in school when I was in high school sometimes my parents gave me money to pay for some stuff in school and I would quickly take out 50% of it in betting I am my friends have really done something bad and I keep on losing Well it’s a really bad memory because my parents keep on hitting me and having issues with me, but I do enjoy myself at that age I will never advise anyone to go into that kind of habits because I know right now children are still doing crazy things in school .

It is normal for a child to go through this but growing up with habit is not something that has to be sustained, though as a child is not easy to control some of this habits but with time you can choose through good and bad, I was also a victim of some shit then but it wasn't easy for me though I scale through, some of us our childhood memory in real sense is just a trash, but what I want is to know is that, as a child there limits to what you can control and thats why you should blame blame yourself much because at this period you can't make decision for yourself, it is difficult to chose between good and bad at that stage, to me I don't see anything that happen then as anything that previously happened as anything, though it is just a memory that we cant leave without.

Yes, that's right, it's a red line that shouldn't be crossed. Moreover, in my opinion, such actions will not improve the situation, they will only make the situation worse. However, maybe for those who are addicted, maybe they can definitely do crazy things like what you said, namely stealing, because in my opinion, when the action is successful and is not discovered, there is a possibility that the perpetrator will be even bolder, for example stealing other people's money or robbing that harms other people. Yes, it is true that stealing anything can endanger us, because in my opinion there must be a response to every action. It's not even just stealing, of course when someone is addicted to gambling there are many things they can do to make money so they can gamble again, and it is clear that this action is driven by an irresistible urge to gamble. I really appreciate myself, because while I was gambling I never did any bad actions or things that harmed other people, such as stealing money from my parents or other people, except by risking all my salary on gambling. You have managed to successfully take me far back to my high school days, I wasn't involved in gambling back then (yeah, sure thing I was actually raised properly as I didn't even know what the word "gambling" meant as at that time), because I never hear, and neither do I have any friend who was into it.
But I remember vividly there were some group of cult boys who were always being chased around by the police like ones or twice every month in the school, this guys will come to school, but will never step their feet inside their class, they were just going to hang around the school premises, or even in the bush around the school there and play a card game called "whot whot" all through the school hours, and when the school dismisses, they will come out and go home.

There was actually a time a serious fight broke out in our school that time due to the gambling activities of this cult boys, they bet money and one supposedly cheated and won, and when it was discovered that he cheated, he was asked to return all the money he won, but he refused, that was how fight broke out, which later metamorphosed into a general riot in the school, everyone ran for their dare life until police came for bring calm in the visinity.
Crazy old times and memory I must say, I and hope those guys have changed for the better where ever they might be right now (if still alive actually).

When a child continues to carry out this bad habit by deceiving their parents, of course this will continue to become a bad habit that will continue to other people and indeed most of us have done this by taking some of the money we asked our parents for. for school reasons and using it for the games we play and we certainly can't repeat this habit anymore because times have changed and now we have to be able to control ourselves so that we no longer do things like that so we don't regret it when we don't have confidence.

Man, I honestly do not know what is the culture in your country or which ever part of the world you are from, but courtesy has it that, saying your mother stole from you (and even doing that in public) is a total disregard and disrespect for your mum, and with all due respect, soemthing you should be ashamed of.
In the part of the world where I come from, mothers do not steal from their child, they never can steal from their child, they can only take, with or without their child's permission.

Your mother taking some money from your jacket isnt stealing, she has that right to take money from her son's jacket, and before you called or referred to this as stealing, did you bother to think the possibility that she was going to tell you she took money from your jacket and bought a drink for herself, but she forgot?
Man, never refer to your mother as a thief, not even within yourself, let alone, referring to her as a thief in public space, its a totally shameful thing to do, and a very bad behavior.

First time hearing op said their stupidity. However, you are so lucky to realize your mistakes and were addictions is bringing you to. But it's bad as a student to gamble while school time. Even when you are not gambling with money time will come when you will start betting with money and as you have started at your early age it would be very difficult to quit.
Funny aspect of addiction and gamblers is they don't always agree that they are addicted to gamble. You see, now from using the money made from cigarettes to gamble one day you might sell property and use the money to gamble, that's how additcions start.

That's something that many of us doing in the past and we still remembering that moment because that's a fun things and craziness that we can do with our friends. Sometimes, we miss that moment, especially if we are gathered with our friends and talks about the past. Anyone has definitely done it and especially for those who have been gambling for long time while still going to offline casinos in the city center, there will be some crazy things they do while they are in the casino.
But for those who are currently still beginners and new to gambling, maybe the crazy thing they do is to use more money or increase the number of bets without careful consideration.
There are many various problems that arise in the current era and are experienced by quite lot of gamblers, most of them are related to finances.

Actually  if we are in the young age we do such crazy thing in gambling. Like what we did with my friend's before we are in a place where  some residence of it make fun with gambling but we don't have money with my friend all we have got is a play money and we decided to play with some people on that place using that play money and luckyly we won on our first bet but in second and third bet we got losses so we say that we don't have coins for our bill so we decided not credit and pay later id we have coins then our luck is come and we won a big amount .

Yes, I quite agree with your opinion here that it is a mistake that is naturally made by children who are still at the stage of education or high school which of course is a period of adolescence that has not entered the stage of adolescence or what we commonly refer to as underage. It is a natural age for a child to do many things even though it sometimes looks absurd, but the name of small children usually has a short mindset and is easily influenced by the things around it and also on the other hand they have a high level of curiosity.

One of the reasons why it is said to be "reasonable" is as you said that a child who is still underage they are not able to distinguish between good and bad, which means that it is very easy for them to be carried away by positive or negative things because there is no consideration whatsoever before making a decision. And honestly for myself I have never done crazy things related to gambling or doing crazy things that smelled of gambling when I was still in my teens because at that time I had never heard of gambling and what gambling looked like, and as far as I remember, I only did general crazy things like skipping school, fighting teachers or running away from home, which I think seems to be a common thing that is done by a teenager who is still quite unstable.

We've all screwed up in our younger years.  I did some dumb stuff I regret too.  Swiping cash from your mom definitely wasn't okay, even as a kid.  Kudos for recognizing that and quitting.  I don't recall ever stealing from my folks directly.  But I fabricated random fees for stuff at school a few times to pocket some extra dough and  spent it on useless crap.  We live and learn.  At least you realized your mistake early on.  Many dont until it's too late.
