Maybe the first thing I will do is provide basic knowledge about what gambling is and how someone can potentially become addicted to it. Gambling business owners profit from addicted gamblers. Gambling platforms are not like exchange platforms that can provide trading-related insights to their users. but gambling will never do that.

If you have a good understanding of gambling addiction, of course you will be very careful when deciding to gamble and will also set limits on the funds that will be used to bet on gambling, some people who are addicted to gambling of course they cannot control themselves. When they gamble and gamble greedily, they will continue to bet in the hope of winning the gambling they are playing.

There's no guarantee of that gambling, companies already have warnings on their terms and on their homepage but those addicted to gambling or those who are starting just ignored that warning, I believe casinos want their players to be responsible gamblers and want to warn people about the harm of gambling addiction.

The reason why there are addicted gamblers is that most of them thought that gamble is a means of making profit or they think that gamble is an alternative way for someone to get rich without any effort of working. This orientation have blind folded a lot of people who are just coming into gambling.

You are right most gamblers get used to gambling to make more money in short time. I'm not sure that's true. Research shows that most addicts do not know how to recognize the signs of addiction or are in denial. They do not want to admit that they have a problem and it is one of the most difficult aspects of overcoming addiction.  In fact, denial is often considered one of the hallmarks of any addiction.

Some gambling companies may not be Interested in helping people not get addicted because they are not considerate to that extent. If casinos and gambling platform do so, I am of the opinion that if Casino's can invest in this, it will increase their public image to the society, because many people who get addicted to gambling are not aware of the dangers. Just as there are warning on cigarette packs, casinos can add a warning for new customers.

I think it is always about awareness and preparation. A newbie should first understand the risks on what he/she is entering into if he plans to do gambling. Sure, there may be high expectations and dreams of winning the jackpot (who wouldn't think of that?) but they must still be realistic and grounded.

If a newbie is well-versed on the risks that he is about to experience, then they would be able to understand at least the core of gambling- which is luck. At the end of the day, they should definitely experience both winning and losing in order to fully grasp on what they are dealing with.

I mean, yes what you said is correct but this also applies into any kind of addiction.

It is all about managing your expectations and understanding the risk profile of gambling. Additionally, it is helpful also that before a newbie attempts to gamble, he/she should at least have a companion to continuously remind them to STOP and to re-evaluate the situation.

Gambling is not all about winning since losing is as important also. Sure, winning in gambling yields you money; but losing in gambling yields you experience and re-evaluation of understanding its reality that a bet could go into two (2) ways: either you win or you lose.

I learned a lesson from some of my seniors gamblers in the gambling center those days who use to give us some games to play with little money and some times the game will bring luck for me to win or lose, but they always tell us not to use what we can't afford to lose in gambling which is the reason am not addicted to gambling till today.

I will advise newbies to gamble for fun if they want to stay long in gambling, but if they want to gamble for investment purposes, it can lead them to be addicted to gambling and it will be difficult for them to live a good life other gamblers are living around their environment with good honor.

Spreading cautions and warnings to the new ones would help to make them aware of how dangerous it is to be too hooked up with gambling . Well for sure new and old time players are aware of it but sometimes a reminder for them would be needed to make them cautious of their actions especially when it comes on betting. Yes, the gambling companies are benefiting from gambling addicts. It is clearly seen and obvious. Some gambling sites have articles to help people not to get addicted but these articles are not just helping. Someone that knows about the articles will not even bother to read any of it as short as they are. No matter how you want to help, people will be people and some people will be addicted.

I think that by discussing how not to get addicted on this forum, it will also help beginners understand a little before playing gambling and also help them avoid gambling addiction. It's true that sometimes beginners don't care how they will control themselves when they lose, but that's what's on their mind. is how to win but don't think about how to control your emotions when gambling, very often gamblers like that always end up becoming gambling addicts because they are only focused on winning and money.

Let's say every casino is required to give disclaimer about gambling addiction everytime when a user login to their website, do you think it will reduce the number of people getting addicted to it?

Absolutely no, people who addicted knew the risk of addiction still they chose to be addicted is the major contributing reason for addiction and it can occur due to external factors that's stressing an individual and they see gambling as a way to kill their time and forget everything but they get addicted and created a new problem for themselves.

How can we help? The only thing we can do is to make up some advises and tips but in the end of the day, they are the only ones who could really make decisions for themselves since they are the ones who had been holding their own body and their mind on whatever the things that they are dealing off with. There's nothing we can do if they would really be that deciding on trying out to continue on doing gambling
despite of the conditions that they are really that experiencing. Addiction is something a thing that you cant really be able to get out once you do get shackled with it.

IMO I don't think it's only a newbie in gamble that can be addicted to gamble, even when you know/understand the risk and what gamble vis you might still get addicted ones you over react on your gambling practices. However you might be addicted and still feel like nothing is happening because you just started.
This question is critical though but in my own opinion I think that the gamble company benefits from everyone ones they are losing their money on gambe, although we believed that the company is just there to give us the means of entertainment but a lot of people are misusing the opportunity.

18 to 21 age is something that considered to be legal age on which considered to be matured or already been allowed to do such stuffs but doesnt mean that they would really be that exempt when it comes to addiction on which we know that this is really that something that could still affect those people. Good thing about dealing up with gambling with older age is that you are aware about its pros and cons which is unlike into those people who are really that just not matured on which they are really that too impulsive but of course there would really be no guarantees.
