Really happy to participate in such a prediction thread especially congrats and best wishes to whoever organized this thread.

I don't understand why three of the four teams are listed as playoff guarantees. So, will the remaining three teams be arranged in the playoffs if we exclude the Rajasthan Royals team?

It was a good game although Bhuvi took the game out of the hands of RR in the last over. He did get two important wickets in the early overs, I cannot forget the clean bowl of Sanju Samson as he could understand the in-swinger ball. Jaiswal and Riyan were the batters who took control of the game otherwise RR would have lost the match by a big margin. Drop catches and midfield were why SRH had to bowl to the end, if they had taken the catch of Jaiswal in the beginning then RR would not have come so close to the target.

After appointment of a new Captain MI became the first team to be officially eliminated from this year IPL. Everything did no go well as they planned. None of thier batters are in form, captaincy was very bad and players did not seem to enjoy. I have a feeling Ishan Kishan might be sold before the next IPL and many might not reach the bid after they are dropped from the tream. KKR after 12 years have now again won a game in Wankhede, the team has been playing well and with Starc making a comeback they have become more stronger.

The whole MI team was once unbeatable in their home ground but now they are struggling in their home ground. I think a lot of this failure goes to the team management. The team has not been like it was before 2021. They were playing as a team and Rohit was in form. Now the opening pair is not relaiable anymore and most batters are out of sync.

KKR bowlers did a good job in getting MI out so quickly. Starc is back after poor bowling in all the matches he played. Chakravarthy has been bowling fine and I think none of us are talking about this guy. Today we have RCB against GT, if RCB lose then they are out which in most probable case will happen.

Finally they understood they don't have quality bowlers so all they can do is maximize their batting unit so they had to go with all Indian bowling attack then utilize 4 foreign slots to the batters.

As you said RCB don't have a chance if others started winning and their only hope will be KKR and RR win the remaining matches so that there will be one 4th spot that might be possible to qualify with just 14 points.

KKR started again with bam and once again crossed 200, so it's not going to be that easy for LSG but if LSG win that ends one door for RCB.

It may not be possible to say precisely which team will qualify for the playoffs in this season of the Indian Premier League.The group stage games are not over yet but if we want to pick the playoff teams as per our prediction then maybe we will pick the top four teams in the points table. According to the points table, Rajasthan Royals are number one, Kolkata Knight Riders are number two, Chennai Super Kings are number three and Lucknow Super Giants are number four.

The way batsmen fell after initial Faf's wicket, that makes me think if GT had on-par score like 170-180, RCB would have lost. RCB depends heavily on openers and that was proved once again. I would include Maxwell too but he's done nothing this season (You know the popular trio known as KGF).

They are completely dependent on the openers which is correct but I have also seen that if Virat gets to a good start then they do win. Virat did start well but stayed back as Faf was timing the ball. As soon as Virat was out they started losing wickets and if GT had 180 or more on the scoreboard as a target they would have defeated RCB as I said earlier it was a fluke win.

KKR and RR are already in the playoffs the competition is between CSK, SRH, and LSG. Today we have a match between MI and SRH and if SRH loses the match today then LSG will get the opportunity to enter into the race to secure a berth in the playoffs.

There is virtually no need to go that route, don't forget our flag has saffron in it and there was no Jay Shah or BJP at that moment.

Even the 2007 T-20 and 2011 WC winning teams had Saffron on their jerseys and again there was no BJP at that time. BCCI is just incompetent and dumb when it comes to these sorts of things.
