Hypothetically big headache for the selectors if Kohli and SKY were not there but still I believe they should at least have some sort of discussion in the selection meeting, at least for Sanju as WK batsman.

RR played brilliantly but GT showed sloppy fielding and many missed catches. Not to forget Wade missed Piyan at 0 behind the wicket twice. And two more in the later part of their innings.

It's still too early to speculate about the selection and about Samson as WK or backup WK we have to wait for few more matches cause he always starts the IPL with bang but his form will dip after 4 or 5 matches.

Might be early but he's making his claim nicely by performing with the bat. Competition is there for the WK batter slot so clicking at the right time also matters.

I remember a time when Parag was one of the most hated guys and everyone claimed he got into RR because he had contacts. This individual after facing so much negativity came back and showed everyone that he is not here to be lose hope and leave. I am not sure whether he will get a chance to represent India in the WC or Samson. But both have shown they can be part of the final squad which I think the selectors will look into.

It looks like DK might be the reason why RCB might well win against MI, those three shots behind the WK were unbelievable. Bhumrah getting 5 wickets was another achievement in this season of IPL. As for the current game, anyone can win it as I feel the game is evenly poised between both teams. If the hitman bats again like he did in the previous match the MI will win today.

The match played between MI and RCB was the best performance of the MI team. An interesting one was that Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets, where they scored 199 runs to reach the target in 15.3 overs. Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav three experienced batsmen went a long way to win. And after they got out, the team captains Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma had a wonderful partnership to win Mumbai Indians.
Moreover, the bowling line of Mumbai Indians was beautiful and due to Bumrah's bowling performance, the RCB team was easily put under pressure.
Bumrah managed to take 5 wickets in a row for just 21 runs in 5.2 overs, and he currently occupies the first position among the most wickets in IPL 2024.

Well done, that was spot on. Although, I expected MI to win this one, I didn't expect them to thrash RCB bowlers as they did. True that RCB bowling is meh but they still have Siraj and he's not performing whatsoever — not taking wickets and being as expensive as hell.

On note, I was awestruck with the fluency and effortlessness of Surya's shots, this guy is different beast in T20 cricket.

IMO not a very encouraging list when you didn't hear 90% of hitters or didn't feature even against the top 8-10 T-20 international teams regularly.

SKY has been the number 1 T-20 batter since late 2022 with a ridiculously big margin, at one time he was standing at 951 points and 2nd best was 100-150 points behind so this tells you something about the quality of SKY.

Even KKR is not doing well they have lost 2 wickets in quick wickets but those batters are inconsistent. Shreyas Iyer is batting now and lately, he has not been the same as he was in the past. It seems that this cricketer's time in franchise cricket is coming to a disappointing end. The BCCI has already removed him from their pay structure. If his team, KKR, wants to win against LSG, he will need to play exceptionally well today as the captain. However, I have my doubts about his shot selection. In the chase for runs, it will be Salt who will be doing most of the heavy lifting, while this player will only rotate the strike. This could lead to Salt losing his wicket.
