Is Gambling A Hobby?

If a person who is addicted to gambling realizes that he is addicted to gambling and he should come out of this addiction but he tries to come out and if he has 100% effort then surely he can come out of this addiction.

I have yet to see anyone who was able to get out of gambling addiction. Gamblers get out of gambling when they are in too much debt and don't have enough money to gamble. Only then do they take a break from gambling.

I think gambling addiction is one of the worst habits because every gambler gradually gets themselves addicted to gambling in such a way that they think of earning money from it to support their family i.e. they take it as their goal. Then their greed increases. As the greed increases, they become more addicted and can't get out easily. Gamblers who gamble should plan their gambling because they should remember that luck can never be changed from gambling.

I personally know several former gambling addicts who have been able to recover from this addiction. One of them is now engaged in trading and says that it is quite enough for him. Another replaced gambling with sports and now he can't imagine life without daily workouts. So I think that almost every gambling addict can get rid of gambling addiction if they want to. There would be a desire.

As we are in an era of cryptocurrency gambling we need to pay more attention to how much in total we use to gamble at a time and what are the outcome of our games, let say if you set aside 0.002 bitcoin to gamble with for a period of one week, what becomes the outcome of the total balance in bitcoin in the last day of the set date.

It is a good example, because as you say, if that is the total that you are willing to lose, then in the interval of a few weeks, let's say 4 weeks, you divide it and bet the same, either once a week if the results are positive or negative, obviously something always happens in the game, that when you don't pursue something you get it, but if you pursue it too often it gets away from you, so basically chance is unpredictable, it is something that is in that "magic" of doing things, that is why you have to put reason and not heart into this.

A gambling can be considered as hobby but it could also cause addiction especially to people driven by greed for a chance to double, triple or even more than triple the amount of money that a person is gambling (if lucky) but if not then it's goodbye to the money being gambled in a casino or similar platform. Well, many gamblers are like that and it is also what I observed from people around me (my neighbors) which the reason why they are gambling is for a chance to make more money or a lot of money by gambling and when I asked them what is what I explained above (a chance to win more money) and when I ask them what if they get addicted to gambling and they told me, "it's just for fun", "it's only a small amount" and many more to mention. Honestly, I am like that before (years ago if I remember correctly, I think it was 2021 or 2022 )I was able to finally quit gambling (which I did thankfully and what they say is correct, it will only cause problems and damage to your life) with some help from my family.

Yes, that makes sense, the things we usually do can become hobbies, and vice versa it will become an addiction for them, for that reason gambling is not like a hobby, maybe it's like recreation, gambling is played when there is money or the mind is enthusiastic, can be played once a week ortwice, to overcome addiction.

A hobby can be done for more often because we really like to do that activity and that can makes us addicted to that activity. If that is gambling, we can become addicted to gambling easily and even we will not realizes that we already gambling addiction. That's why we must not playing gambling too often to avoids our minds thinks about gambling many times in our daily life because that can makes us to return to casino and playing gambling.

We must realizes that we have other activities that we can do so we can stay away from gambling addiction because we know that can gives us a big risks to be an addicted person to gambling. Many interesting activities that we can use to be our hobby so we can stay away from gambling and we can use our time with right. We can playing gambling occasionally in our spare time just to have fun and relaxing ourselves.

You can wake up a sleeping person but no matter how hard you try to wake up a person who is pretending to sleep, he will never wake up. If there is a gambler around you who has become addicted to gambling due to excessive gambling, you can try to get him out of that addiction on your own initiative. 

For example, the free time you can spend with him in physical sports, you try to create a good relationship with him, hoping he will understand his mistake and when he understands his mistake, he will definitely be able to come out of this addiction by his own efforts.

Unfortunately, the whole paradox really lies in the fact that an addicted gambler must only realize that he is ruining his life. No one will be able to convince him because then this gambler will simply nod and lie that he realized his mistakes. Also adding to the complexity is the fact that after a severe addiction it is impossible to fully recover.
The experience of addiction remains with the gambler forever, like a sleeping virus, and the gambler should not provoke himself into gambling, diligently avoiding the casino.  Otherwise, a new period of dependence will begin.

Those who understand and understand those who try to come on the right path must welcome their activities and help them to return to their normal lives. There are some gamblers who are addicted to gambling from childhood and remain addicted to gambling till death. Those who exist in this category of gamblers may never realize that they have ruined their lives by gambling all their lives. If a gambler gambles responsibly enough then the results are likely to be in his favor but if the gambler is addicted to gambling then there is sure to be financial loss. I think gambling is easy and everyone can gamble but there are very few gamblers who can control themselves and manage their gambling with proper sense of responsibility.
