It is true that every hobby can cost a lot of money, but in this hobby the results that we have produced so far are visible in front of us, for example, we modify one of our vehicles and the results are there and we are satisfied with the results.

A gambler is required to have a strong self control before gambling can be a hobby for them. You said gambling can be a hobby for those that gamble for fun but that is not 100% accurate, even those that gamble for fun can still get addicted when they lose self control, while those that handle gambling as a source of income should not even  make gambling their hobby .

I do agree that we are going to end up with a lot of trouble if we consider it anything else. I do agree that we are going to end up with a lot of fun if we consider it as hobby. What is the difference?

Well, if you see something as a money making way then you are going to end up with something different, it is not going to be all that easy and we would put up so much money, people spend tens of thousands even hundreds of thousands of dollars into startups of their own, meaning if you think you can make money from this then you will put up a lot of money.

First of all I will like to define hobby in my own understanding. Something that one like to do always either for pleasure, leisure or entertainment. And example of hobbies which I know. Swimming which can be a game as well, reading which can also be a competition as " reading competition", and anything competition is a game, and sport. Sport can be someone hobby if the person love sports and like to partake in it. And that means something you partake that you have leisure and pleasure can be your hobby.

With all things being equal and with your definition i think gambling maybe a hobby for some people, i am a gambler but i can not and will never see or take gamble as a hobby because of the things that is attach to it . I really like the fact that you can practice swimming, I also practiced when I was a child, but when I wanted to do it to join a local team the competition was very strong, everyone started from the age of 2, and when starting late at 14 years old is It is very difficult for one to understand the sport like them, however I got to train at a high level with high performance athletes and the training was very hard, but it was a sport that made me grow and have a good body, however that can be do being a great hobby, when we talk about casinos and games of chance it cannot be taken as a hobby because the hobby is repetitive and playing every day means having a lot of money Available to lose, and it could be very dangerous.
