I see that this kind of promotions is common now a days, even popping up every now and then, but what the parents should do is to put some parental guidance restrictions on the phones their kids are using. For example, you can only subscribe to the kids zone on YouTube and instruct your kids to only visit YouTube. Don't allow them to visit any other social media channel apart from the once you have probably seen to be safe for them. Kids are always fast in learning and if they are exposed to those gambling stuffs more frequently, they can decide to try it one day until they become gamblers at a very young age.

Look at Drake for example, he makes some posts about his bet slips and all the kids join stake and want to do the same.

In the past social media in connecting to gambling was often used for scams only. Like some clowns promoting their "fixed games" with fake winning slips and fake money videos. Saw plenty of these like 5 or more years ago but now gambling is a big part of social media.

this is one of the viral issues here in our country because some youtubers/ influencers are doing Mommy/Child parenting vlog wherein their contents are for kids but at the end of the video, there's a 1 minute video promotion about gambling, yes, they have a disclaimers but we all know that we can't control a viewers actions so vloggers should be aware of the impact that may affect their viewers especially that there's a kids or minor who watched their videos. Parents should limit their children in using social media as well because there's a lot of restricted videos going viral nowadays.

I don't think freelance influencers care about their target audience, it's a task for the advertiser not the blog. Influencers are focused on maintaining the blog, to keep it updated. They need money to run the blog efficiently. Advertisers like casinos, offer them enough funds to place those ads. Because they, the casino, see the blogger discuss gambling in his online space. Most gambling ads are placed on game related blogs. Else the conversion rate will be low. However, advertisers may not care about the niche, if the influencer has enormous number of followers.

Such ads are disseminated across such pages, because out of those millions of followers, they'll be thousands of gamblers. Who will be interested in trying out the advertised gambling platform. Moreover, in the context of this thread, advertisers may want to convert non gamblers in the page to gamblers, by placing such ads aggressively. That is the influencer has to promote gambling on every single content he creates. Hence, kids visiting such page will one day get interested in gambling. Especially if the ads are spiced with a cash prize. Internet users are mainly tricked with giveaways and related ideas. "Money call the shots or makes the mare go", so, the influencers can't resist some cash offers for an ad placement, even when they dislike placing such ads.

Vlogger doesn’t have any decency to research first their supporters ages range before they accept gambling content.

In my country Philippines, there’s a lot of streamers and vloggers that the usual content is for gaming which young age watching already promoting gambling and change all their content to gambling. They don’t care anymore about their young followers as long as they are being paid since online pay them huge amount compared to their normal salary when they are streaming.

This is the sad part on social media. Gambling content should be removed on social media platform or at least have a restriction for young audience.

This is indeed a very serious concern I have unfollowed a lot of social media influencers, even those I followed for many years because they are already making money from the ads and yet they still promote gambling platforms at the end of the videos, I am concern because they are using viral videos that children and the vulnerable can watch, they should be a role model but instead, they are corrupting minors on how they shill these gambling platforms, there are right places to promote gambling platforms not on social media using viral videos that children will be interested to watch.

There is a pending law that penalizes social media influencers that promote gambling platforms on social media using viral videos, there is a stiff penalty and some years of imprisonment, that's the only way to eradicate these local social media influencers.

Most of them are aware kids could easily access their content, but they seem to accept those offers anyways because sometimes, casinos are the only only sponsors willing to finance relatively small channels which are not so benefited by the algorithm when comes to number of views during their growing phase.
I have personally followed a YouTuber from the early 2010s, one specialized in videogames of horror. He grew very fast and his channel was viewed mostly by teens and childs.

As years passed by something happened to his revenue and he ended up accepting sponsorships from casinos, specifically 1xbet. Which it was a big disappointment to me.
I have also noticed casinos are specially willing to finance YouTubers and influencers from specific countries where it is harder to monetize content, like Venezuela, a country which very difficult relations with the United States and The European Union.

I am not sure if bloggers and Youtubers cares with their audiences. Maybe some of them really cares and gives a educational videos to their audiences. But most of them will only cares about how they can makes money from social medias and gets many followers to their channels. We have no doubts that social media now becomes a place from a creative people to creates their channels and spreads many things to people who visits on their social media pages. They used their social media pages to gets the advantages from people so they can makes money from their social medias. It's our job to be careful when we visits their channels accidentally and don't have to trust 100% of what they saying. This is a hot topic on our country last month since one senator files a bill seeking to punish online gambling promoters since it's already spread in a very wide scale without any restrictions to underage viewers.

I think this issue is happening globally now that online casino is already popular. I’ma which sure there will be a campaign in the future to ban this kind of promotion on social media which there’s no restriction with minors since anyone can fake their age.

I hope that the bill in my country will passed to punish those easy go lucky streamers that blatantly promotes gambling on their account.

No, you’re not wrong. Gambling is something can make one rich overnight. While this is the good part of it as people see it, it’s also the bad part. The young ones who are already considering gambling as a source of income or wealth would end up with laziness because they are seeing that with gambling it’s simple, so they become lazy to do an actual job or work. Also comedy skit Makers are also advertising gambling website and those comedy skit Makers videos have not parental guide as PG because it is meant for all the ages because we believed that it is just a joke but the advertisement they make has a negative implementation for the younger age. And yes those ads at the end of those videos have a very effective on the children watching those videos because they would like to try what has been advertised. Children like to practice what they have seen and not what the have heard. And that has contributed a lot to the underage gamblers. Influencers don't care if they get paid, that's what they want, and promotion on Blogger and Video can be accessed by everyone without age restrictions, so this will see a lot of underage viewers.

The social impact of gambling is great but it is difficult to stop because technological developments are difficult to prevent even though gambling promotions are the target audience for adults but because social media can be accessed without age restrictions, children will see it.

Most of these influencers are role models to young children and might be exposed to gambling at a tender age. These young people might end up taking up gambling as a hobby which might make them prone to gambling addiction. This is really a big problem because most of these influencers offer services such as jokes, motivational speaking, tutorials, fashion shows, etc which children can view.

The government should enact laws that will restrict these influencers from promoting gambling especially when their services are exposed or attract children. This is really difficult to control as there is explosion of internet users that restrictions are quite hard to maintain. Teenagers go online at their own will without control because they have access to smartphones either their own or that of their parents. So if bloggers make a post or video then they would see it when they visit the page through their parents. So I think the bulk of the restrictions depends on the social media platforms to restrict certain ads. YouTube have such restrictions quite well for certain contents especially those of sexual connotation but I don't think they restrict gambling ads, likewise other social media platforms. Thus, the parents also has their own duty to do by advising their children on the addictive risk in gambling.

I Won't stop saying that it's the responsibility of parents to protect their children or ward from all of the negative influences from the internet specifically social media platforms and influencers.  Many times why these kids fall victim to all of these negativities is due to ignorance. For the gambling, if parents can enlighten their kids about what gambling is all about and the need to why they ought not to engage in it until to a matured age and also about the negative side of it too. Perhaps the kids will be aware and smart enough to avoid it even when influencers try to promote it in a sugarcoated manner on the sites they visit.

All what those influencers care about is the money they make from the promotions, they don't give a damn of any impending damage that could result from if getting to the wrong audience like kids. On the other hand, I honestly don't blame influencers as they are just doing their job, and every job comes with some hazards so it's left for parents to intentionally teach and guide their kids from those hazards as they visit online sites.

          -   You know I don't have a problem with them promoting gambling; the only thing I don't like about influencers' methods is that they promote fraud or deception to the viewers who can watch their ads. And worst of all, even minors can watch the ads they make.

Gambling ads also have a big impact on the casino because, of course, others, even if they don't know, will really try because what other gambling promoters who are influencers say is that you can't lose when you register using their referral link.

The truth is that no matter how hard you try to keep children away from the knowledge of what gambling is, you may never be able to achieve it because promotions and advertisements about gambling are everywhere on TV, on halftime shows of favorite sports, on roadside banners, pop-up banners on the internet, and even between discussions. 

To protect your children, you have to expose them to these potential dangers and make them understand why they need to gamble responsibly at the right time when they can comfortably accommodate it. If a child understands the dangers of gambling from a very little age that child can be sure to avoid ending up as an addict because he has had proper orientation.

This is common in my country. They do not care than the money the gambling site they are advertising for will pay them.

YouTube is not better but there are local channels in my country that you will see gambling site advertising which is worse.

Recently I was passing through the bank road in my town, I saw a sign board of 1xbet. Did you know how many under age that would have seen it. The problem goes to government negligence.

The sad thing is that even the government knows that many scams in gambling, they simply just ignore and let their (scam) business continue.
Promoting gambling is not wrong but should be carefully put into a platform that is intended for gamblers and of legal age audiences but since it was a signboard, I think government intervention is necessary. It creates curiosity in the kids and we don't want it to happen.

I think that the degree to which influencers are “saleful” will depend only on their personal internal morality. Do you want to persuade them not to advertise (lose income) gambling and casinos? I will be happy to see how you do it (manage to influence).

Of course, I can't but I think they should be sensible enough of their doing knowing that not only legal age are watching them, but some of them are kids also. I understand their position, it is a money opportunity for them but I believe they should be responsible also. In fact, we are gamblers but we don't want our kids to see us gambling.
