OP is right, but we can't put all the blame on influencers or ads promoters, they are simply doing that for monetary value which for me isn't bad. They have built a system with followers, so it's left for you to sign up or not.

We have seen different gambling sites promoted but we didn't still sign up for, why because we didn't see any cordial reason to, that's same thing, if you train your ward properly I don't think there is any need for fear. Being gullible is not a misplaced word for such people, this doesn't leave the young and old out of it and it baffles me about what could cause people to always believe what they hear even though the reality is all around them, which is the opposite. Well, one may still get it right when it comes to sports betting, because one way or another, such a person can still maintain very good results of 75% in prediction if he is good and lucky with his sports predictions. But for the casinos' predictions, I bet that the social media channel will not fool people for long before they start coming back to their senses.

It is money matters but they are supposed to see the outcomes of their works as they are representing something that can possibly make a kid, a young mind start gambling. A responsible influencer will not just be after the money but must carry responsibility for their doings. That's right and I think there are quite a lot of influencers who are not even gamblers promoting casino sites on social media which is also the case in my country where one of the well-known artists who is known for his kindness to the public but I found him promoting one of the casino sites on some social media to the public and obviously like you said that they are using him who has a lot of followers or fans by promoting casino sites for money. The fact is that money isn't everything but everything is easier to accomplish if you have money, And yes if we talk about the impact then obviously it doesn't matter whether they are a gambler or not but what is worried is when children who are still minors who are shaping their personality naturally fall on the wrong path because they see the promotion of gambling which is where I also often find some news on TV broadcasts about a child who is desperate to steal valuables in a shop and when interrogated it turns out that the money from the sale of goods will be used to finance his gambling and both parents do not know about their children involved in gambling.

To be honest with you, at this stage we in in terms of technology, businesses like gambling casino no longer care about who  sees their ads, and so is vloggers and YouTubers as well.
Personally, I feel it has become the sole responsibility of the parents to look after their children, what exactly should a child below eighteen years of age be doing with a smart phone in the first place?

The important role lies with families in observing and directing their children's habits in their activities on social media. I think parental control is more important than government efforts.

Influencers promote for money. Because influencers have a huge following that when they see their favorite people promoting something, they believe in it and use it. For this, gambling companies tailor their marketing strategy by targeting influencers. After gambling ban on twitch, they are now pestering the facebook social media which Zuckerburg doesn’t care at all to moderate this kind of game. The problem on this influencers nowadays is they are showing huge amount of bets that attracts users to gamble.

We all know here that they are just using demo account but innocent people that is none gambler find it interesting that will lead to trying it themselves. We are already familiar with something like what you said regarding gambling, social media, influencers, streamers and so on. if we talk about impact, yeah we agree. But for me, whatever it is, it has an impact, whether positive or negative. yeah, back to each individual. as you said in this thread and post, it is clear there will always be an impact, especially if we look at it from a negative side. as well as current technology, everything makes it easier for us to use and utilize it, including things that have a negative impact. We don't need to talk too far about online gambling, but the origins of why we can access various things even by sitting in front of our computer screen. or, the smartphones that we often use.

The internet is a connection to everything we can access, watch, play and everything that is useful for us. So, are there any bad effects? yeah, if you look at it from a bad perspective. no different from gambling, influencers, streamers, and all things related to gambling. If things are related to ages 18+ and above, of course they should not be accessed by children who are not yet ready to understand so that they are not exposed. Influencer marketing is the effective as well as most economical way of advertising in these era, Google itself has their own advertising plans but its kind of expensive so casinos choose the creators for collab, sponsor or even complete promotion of their site in different ways.

The only legit site I saw via this kind of marketing is Stake apart from that every gambling sites are scams still the influencers promote them cause they were paid decent amount for doing.

Its unstoppable, unless Google decided to bring changes in the policies regarding promoting by the creator.

That's a risk that you are taking when you are making that kind of situation. I have seen this from even the simplest things, like for example if you are a fan of a team in sports and you make videos regarding that team, and share stuff on twitter, you are going to get hate from not only opponent teams but also even if you say one wrong thing they disagree with then even the fans of that team will end up saying something indecent to you as well. That's why it's quite important to realize that we are not going to get anything reasonable with these streamers, because they can't control what others are doing.

I personally believe that we are not going to get all the same fans, some viewers will do it as a hobby while some others will do it as addiction and the streamers can't make anything about that.

Funny thing that when I was reading your post, there is a perfect example that I want to share with everyone.

There is a famous GM in Chess named Hikaru Nakamura which is widely known as one of the greatest chess blitz player in the world. He is also famous in the chess community since he consistently posts videos on YouTube about his games and moves. Also, he streams regularly where he created a community due to the rising popularity in chess. Basically, it is like you are watching a wizard do magic tricks in the chess board which makes him very entertaining to watch.

Recently, he streamed and he suddenly played gambling games where he asked his viewers to explain on how online gambling works on that game. When people tried to call him out on his stream, those people were banned from replying.

Now, do you know the dangers of the actions that he just did? His whole viewership consisted of both beginners, adults, GMs, and even KIDS who want to learn or at least witness his greatness on the chessboard. This created a potential danger to his community especially if it peaked the interest of kids (as kids are naturally inquisitive and curious) as we already know on how gambling is addicting.

Most countries usually make it illegal gambling apart from games which are full of risks. There are many negative impacts from gambling itself and it is feared that it could influence the thinking of teenagers in the future when they get to know gambling earlier. In fact, there are many job opportunities if these influencers are willing to work to earn good money. It's cleaner, isn't it by promoting gambling, it seems like influencer work is not as difficult as people who work in real life where they have to struggle to find work, whereas job influencers will come by themselves, perhaps by promoting beauty equipment, household furniture, food and many more, so promote Gambling is not the only way to become a job that these influencers justify.

I'm not against social media influencer promoting gamble, but what I'm complaining is the fact that, most of these influencer do lots of exaggeration  on the casino or site thus making it seem very easy to make money from. But one thing is for sure, it is left for you to make the decision whether to check it out or just ignore it. But for beginners, they'll definitely want to check it out. However some influencer have lost some of their reputation by just running ads for a low quality casino site.
