A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their vlogs or videos?
If we do speak about social media contents then it wont really be just that limited on gambling-related things alone but also in other things as well on which it might not really be that proper or just right for young viewers for them to see or look with those things on which it could really be something that could really be affecting them in future actions that they would be making. This is why parenting would really be something important on this regard on which it would really be needing that you would really be telling your kids that they should really be not seeing or tending to follow these kind of contents on which we know that this is something that could really be affecting them in near future.

Now that we are seeing tons of those slot gaming streams online specially on facebook then it is really that most likely that our kids will really be able to see those stuffs.
If you dont mind that much about their possible condition the one day you might be seeing them engaging with gambling without you knowing and we know that this is something that we dont
really like to happen. Be responsible as a parent but of course not all the time we would be able to monitor them. This is why it would really be situational.

Luckily, my country has now imposed sanctions on influencers and creators if anyone promotes gambling site advertisements either through uploaded YouTube videos or on other social media stories, maybe this can prevent underage children from not getting to know gambling sites. too early for them and also prevents them from mental damage, because usually small children will definitely do what they see, especially if the gambling site advertisement is promoted by a creator or influencer they idolize.

But I have to remind you that if you don't want to be influenced by gambling content, the first step is to report the content and choose a statement that the content does not match what you watch on social media. We need to know that if we watch more than 1 minute of gambling content, then content with gambling keywords is found again on social media homepages, so you have to immediately filter content that is worth watching and it is better to filter gambling content if you are not the type of gambler.
Yep, with technology that always improving, now we can set up the contents that we want to see.

The problem is there are many people that didn't want to spend their time to checking the update and use the feature, they just keep blaming the social medias why they recommend "that" content, while the fact they're the one who interested with it lol.

Don't blame the social medias, but blame themselves for not learning new things.

Children are not the usual victims of gambling advertised through social networks, the victims are young people with smartphones and computers, internet coverage everywhere to follow interesting topics, bringing small advertisements to a niche part of users, although in the face of media blocking from the government, some content still spreads out. Especially gamers in some gaming fields, they are not too famous to a large extent but have a certain voice in the niche community, from there, gambling ads can easily reach viewers, it's easy to accept advertising offers when they are just small streamers, very few brands care about and collaborate with them.

Teens most of the time. They are the ones who can decide what they want to do so mostly they end up gambling just so they could double their allowances.
The problem is, gambling sites are open to anyone and so they will try to use the credentials of those around them to take advantage of it.
Governments must be aware of this and I know they have the numbers to prove that most gamblers in this era are teens. As a individual, all we could do is warn the people near us, but when it comes to national problem the government must also do something to percent this kind of schemes from happening over and over again.

Not only on YouTube, they are very popular on TikTok, X formerly Twitter), Facebook and what they do is that they don't directly advertise gambling platforms, they do their normal videos like joke, comedy, football bant, sport analysis and then they tell you to click on the link on their BIO and when you do, you will be directed to a particular gambling platform with 100-300% bonus on your first bonus, so many of them without remorse for underage.

Underage this days are very inquisitive and they want to know what's you actually mean by that % increment on deposit because everyone literally want to make money these days, and it's even funny that nobody speaks about this actions because it has become the norm in the society but it's bad.

the influence of social media in almost everything we do in recent times cant be overly emphasized as they are very obvious in that we see it how it gets gambling really popular and gets us to start getting to know to well about gambling much more than we have known before now because the gambling social platforms bring to us the reasons to gambling and this making it appear very interesting and attractive to potential gamblers because of the bonuses they offer and make gamblers believe they give gamblers who gets to sign up on their platforms. you are very right this actually gets to affect kids who get to find interest in some of these influencers who get to promote the gambling platforms.

interestingly these gambling sites and casinos get to pay their influencers handsomely making it a reason for them to not want to end any of the deal when brought to them because the care mostly about their money and sadly its almost not possible to get these adverts off the screen of those who aren't the target audience because they get to still view the social platforms of these influencers who has got no restrictions on them and the contents they do put up on those platforms.

Here in Indonesia you can get paid 20$ per videos with only put slot images or name site in your videos and you can get more if your video getting popular and show in for your page

This rate can be considered very good and profitable for both parties, but I would like to ask: Is there a moral obligation to complete the agreement? I mean, will the advertiser take into consideration whether the video content could target minors, for example, or encourage gambling without assessing the consequences? Also, is there any legal formula based on which an agreement is made between the advertiser and the owner of the advertisement? In other words, does the state intervene in the role of guarantor between the two parties to protect the targeted niche?

Personally, I consider that not all social media sites are suitable for publishing advertisements for gambling platforms, especially those platforms that are used by all people of all groups and all ages. On this basis, I find it good that many of these platforms do not allow advertisements for gambling companies, such as Facebook and TikTok.

I doubt this will ever happen, since long time ago governments have stopped caring about their citizens as persons and they only see them as economic agents which produce and redistribute wealth, and when a government looks at persons this way then they could care less about a bunch of teens gambling, and instead what they care about is the gambling industry to keep reporting huge gains every single year, as the gambling industry is heavily taxed and they get most of that money for themselves.

Yup, they are more into the benefits and not with how the impact might be for those young minds who already been addicted as early as their young age, you point it right that even there's a threat in terms of having those young adults being involve in their young age the new generations have that big risk as the government is not caring enough for their future, but instead, the government is more concern with the incoming money from those new and established gambling sites who really bringing huge amounts of benefits to their hands.

Gambling sites and gambling mostly is a business we should not forget about that, these companies would normally promote their business in order to attract more users and more clients for their business to grow and earn more profits, we cannot blame them for these advertisements whatsoever.
It is also known that gambling has a lot of consequences and obviously not made for kids or teenagers to practice it, you can consider it like alcohol.  So normally parents should educate their kids on that letting them know how bad of an impact these things could have and that it takes so much responsibility to practice such thing.

Social media platforms are the most influencable places these days and most of people use them daily no matter how old they are. I think the ones to blame when it comes to gambling promotions is the influencers because they should study their audience first before engaging in any contract because if the people who follow them are young or if their usual content is made for underage people then ads that talk about gambling should be completely banned from their platforms.
Gambling is restricted in many countries so logically there is not a lot of influencers who promote it.

The social media is mostly used for making adverts and promotions for gambling platforms, many of us were privilege to have heard about the existence of some of the gambling websites through the social media, its also a means through which information passes across to everyone as long as they are connected to the internet, we all believe that this same social media can be use to propagate for good and bad things, while we are to make use of it for the ones that are good and of benefits to us, which can positively influence the way we are gambling together with other gamblers.

Yes, social media is a target for useful and useless content. In my opinion, it's easy, even if they don't want or are lazy to set up content or a recommendation system, and you just follow useful accounts or watch useful content that you need. And if there is negative content, just skip it or click don't show again.
Social media seems to have the same characteristics, if we always see positive content then next or in the future there will always be positive content.
Likewise with advertising or gambling content, if there is any, it's best to just skip it or not show it again or don't open it or watch it. Because if this happens at a later date or at a later date you will always be presented with content or advertisements about online gambling, so it all depends on the user.

I agree, but social networks do influence a lot, because Whenever we make a movement we must emphasize that we will always have many nice things to do, those of us who barely use social networks, because we use them to search for information. , news, something relevant, there are people who use it for absolutely everything, especially for gossip , and that is something that at least I don't have time for, however when I am looking for news it is Better to use some social networks , Usually when ads appear of casinos and when you Click on them the same algorithm launches more casinos, But it doesn't work for me , because if the casino is not in the forum , then I ignore it.

Unfortunately, our countries, the governments, and our society do things in the wrong way and make everyone suffer. I don't see a problem with an influencer or content creator promoting a casino as long as gambling is legal within a country. The small children you are talking about are the responsibility of their parents, the parents need to make sure that those children are not watching things that aren't for them, there are parental control setups and features in almost everything these days, when are the parents going to use them and leave the content creators alone?

The governments are also not wise enough to think about it. Why impose sanctions on influencers or content creators if gambling is allowed and legal within the country? They do that to earn a living, and they do it for the adults that watch them, they are not responsible if parents nowadays aren't able to take care of their children and keep them away from things that aren't supposed to be around them.

This is why nowadays we as adults don't stop providing education to young people, especially those who are still in school because when they become active gamblers their school will be disrupted and often their personality will be damaged and they will become very evil with money (in order to make ends meet their desire to gamble), many adults who can even make their own money have been ruined by gambling, do we have the heart to let our children become gamblers before they are old enough!

That is the more reason why gambling shouldn't be hidden from the young ones and most people basically practice anything they see online more especially when they come from celebrities or influencers that is the reason why people need to educate their children with proper knowledge of the things happening around them so that when they hear it outside, they won't be misled or misinformed.
provided that social media is into existence internet Explorer everywhere there's no need of hiding gambling to a children but what you let them know is that we have a a particular stage that children will you reach before participating in gambling that should be a clear understanding to them than hiding a gambling to them so from my own understanding social media is exposing everything by your thinking that is in secret since it has happened that way we need to take another precaution or step to make sure that we give our children the right information that has to do with gambling not to hide gambling to them totally I think then we still notice what is gambling provided that there are using internet

Even they know the target audience, how they can able to limit kids that watching to their videos? no way.

This problem is caused by money.

The parents didn't learn parenting skills, so they don't know whether they should allow their kids to use cellphone or not. Even they know it's not good to let their kids to use cellphone, they can't really control their kids due to lack of time. Lack of time caused by they need to work in order to earn money.

You are absolutely correct and this is the one thing are really causing why most kids misbehave because parents don't really have time for their kids instead they will go and employ a housemaid, who will be taking care of the kids and their for and give them whatever thing they want. They think life is all about money meanwhile there is a lot to it, knowing who your kids are, is very very crucial, having time for them makes them draw more close to our parents and the more you will keep providing and neglecting them, the more we are exposing our kids outside, which they might learn bad behavior that will affect all of us.

Definitely not, and that a very good question by the way, one that really touches the heart and calls for a sober reflection.
Children gambling is very dangerous not just to them and their future, but also to the parents of such a child, I've seen my with eyes, and as well heard stories of some kids who ended up dropping out of school due to their activeness in gambling, because some of them after winning a good amount of money usually begin to struggle to focus on their education, because they begin to live in the illusion of "what Is the essence of going to school, when they are already make money and become rich from just gambling", they totally forget that gambling is not a job, neither is it a career that should be depended on as a sole means of livelihood.

We as parents must never stop watching over our kids and cautioning them, always telling them what is right for them to do as kids, and what is wrong.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?

they just don't care about it, because the most important thing for them is how they can make money from the promotion. they don't care who their audience is and who they get the money from or what brand they promote, the important thing is that they can get money and that's enough for them.

if we say they don't care about this, that's not true, but it's just that most of these influencers are stupid, so they don't know what they are doing, promoting something that is very vulnerable to children.

Exactly as I thought, mostly when I see such ads I just skip them but to the younger ones that are beginning to know about what life is and really want to explore more, they wouldn't mind entering the the sites and that's it once they like what they see they are now into it and  we all know what that means..

But the influencers really don't care as they know they are just after their money and whatever that brings in the money they'll surely do it not minding the negative effect it may cause on the society and the youths.
