Earlier I said, firstly, gambling from our salary is unwise and a bad financial habit. Before we thinking of allocating any amount at all, the needs and wants of the family should be meet with a surplus in case of any other emergency that can tally till you get paid again.
If not the left over, or discretionary funds that are meant for your beer or outing then you can use to gamble risking responsibly. The percentage to be used depends on our salary amount, someone 5% can be some else 1% in a nutshell there is a variation so it depends on your salary.

In my opinion, that's a different budget, even though they all include entertainment, but the goal of people who gamble is to be able to get more money than the money they have set aside for gambling, even though winning is not guaranteed, at least that is someone's goal for gambling, someone prepares a budget of 5- 10% for gambling and hope to get 20-50% However, if the money is used for other entertainment, we will not get the benefit of the money just to have fun for a while. Video games, books, outdoor activities, cinemas, shows, clubs and gambling. For me this looks like a reasonable amount to spend. Roughly we spend half of salary on food and bills. Then there are some obligatory expenses (this is individual, but lets say I spend 10-15% of my salary on such a category as kids). In addition I believe that a person must save something each month. So in the end I get an amount I can spend whatever I want.
