Anyway, Juventus has returned to the Champions League next season and with its new coach, Thiago Motta, is it possible that they will rise amidst increasingly difficult competition? We know that Juventus experienced difficult times in the Champions League and they almost won the Champions League many times but were very weak when they were in the top match.

I will not have full expectations from Juventus and they can start slowly because they need to adapt to the transition with their new coach. On the other hand, the new players who will be brought in will also mean that they still need a long process. I thought there would at least be a surprise even though it wouldn't have a big impact on their journey here.

Although it's difficult to predict Juventus's future, I believe it will be fairly competitive in the UCL after the overhaul that is still under development by Motta. Once again, Motta also needs to strengthen Juventus's mindset. UCL is coming with a new format, then the pressure is going to be bigger; In the end, if you make a small mistake during the competition, it may cost you a chance to win the trophy. Well, a mistake in the final is not only happening to Juventus, but many Italian teams, on the other hand, constantly suffer the same thing too. Juventus needs to strengthen all of its sectors, all I have to say is that we had the best example last seasons when Inter Milan lost against Manchester City, and the club shall not only focus on one or two positions.

Motta is still quite new in Italy, but he is starting to be considered a good coach. And again, change must be made gradually. What kind of surprise are you expecting from Juventus? Last but not least, all of Turin's supporters need to wait patiently for Motta to deliver, as I'm sure he won't be successful in his first season with the old lady. The new players obviously need time to adapt.

I agree with you that Champions League will be more competitive next season. The Leverkusen team is very strong despite not having many star players. On the other hand, Manchester City will try to strengthen their squad next season. Reigning champions Real Madrid have already managed to strengthen their squad by adding Mbappe to the squad.

Just by looking out the clubs we have already gotten an insight of how next season champions League will look like and the clubs that has a very higher chance of winning  and also in the case of Liverpool I would say that they should just focus on the premier League for now because with what they did on this finished season I don't think they will survive on the champions League and also they are still going to go through a little declining in performance as there coach Klopp will no longer be with them next season, so getting use to the new coach will certainly take some time and also Arsenal on the other hand should also focus on the premier League more because that's were they have the higher chance on, however in terms of real Madrid they have already equipped themselves and they are ready for the champions League.
Real Madrid and Manchester City? They are the favorite, the big dogs. Nothing wrong with that. Still, anything may happen in the Champions League. Liverpool, things are changing; a new coach, new enthusiasm. A fresh start can sometimes do wonders. And Arsenal? Though their attention is on the Premier League, never undervalue a club that has something to prove.

Real Madrid, they have an outstanding squad without a question. But that doesnt mean they're invincible. Unexpected events exist in Champions League history. Underdogs can rise and the biggest teams fall. Thats the reason its so exciting.
A new season is about to start many clubs will want to strengthen their squad and many clubs have already strengthened their club but no matter how much the club strengthens their squad I will always consider Real Madrid as the most favorite team for the Champions League. Manchester City Arsenal Inter Milan these teams will be in the list of favorite teams but Real Madrid will be the most favorite team. Real Madrid have won the most number of Champions League titles in the history of the Champions League. Real Madrid have never been consistent in the Champions League tournament and they will continue to do so. I will consider Real Madrid more favorites next season than this season because stars like Mbappe will be playing Champions League for Real Madrid next season.

A billion dollars worth of starting eleven is something we have never seen before in history. That is of course a bit thanks to inflation, because a player being worth 100+ wasn't really that common in back in the day, even the biggest names would barely worth that much, and right now we are seeing it a lot more commonly, it is becoming like a threshold to be fair. Even Antony was like 100 million for United if I am not wrong, or somewhere close to that.

However, even with inflation, it is not a shock that Real Madrid became the first team to do this, a team that is not owned by some Oil giant, there are so many teams that have owners worth tens of billions of dollars, you can't even calculate how rich Newcastle owner is, and yet Real Madrid is the first one, they are just managed SO great.

A little look at Real Madrid squad really show they will repeat the result of this season. Everything seems to be so well arranged for them especially the entry of Kylan Mbappe, who many believe is the best signing for Real Madrid. But I will not be too fast is thinking that Madrid will have their way when the season have not even started. It is after they lay few matches, we will see how well Mbappe will blend into the team and his impact as well. Sometimes coaches find it hard selecting a formidable team when he has too many good options to chose from, I just hope Ancelotti will not be in that situation next season.
Ancelotti is a coach who is quite experienced in organizing and selecting players to be placed on each line, because Real Madrid is a team that always has more of the best players, but Ancelotti himself does not make many mistakes in organizing and placing certain players in the lines he believes in. So I will never doubt Ancelotti's tactics even though it is still too early to judge Real Madrid's strength next season because next season hasn't started yet.

Bologna this season has been impressive even though they only rely on a makeshift squad but Bologna was able to surprise us all with their passage to the Champions League next season, Thiago Motta is of course the actor of all the success that Bologna has achieved this season, but Bologna failed to keep Thiago Motta to remain their coach next season, Thiago Motta seems to realize that Bologna is indeed able to qualify for the Champions League but maybe he Thinking that Bologna will not be able to compete later in the Champions League, so indeed he prefers to coach a team that has the potential to be better in the Champions League later, Juventus has a pretty bad performance this season although they have a squad that is quite qualified, so I think with his intelligence and also his ability to coach, of course, it will make Juventus can return to be a title challenger in the league and the Champions League later.

In my opinion, Thiago Motta will not be too difficult to adapt to Juventus, because after all he has been in Serie A for quite a long time and indirectly of course he has been able to understand Juventus style of play even though as his opponent, Thiago Motta only needs to make a slight overhaul in the Juventus squad next season, because indeed the current Juventus squad is quite good but is not supported by good game strategies and tactics by Allegri during Ini.

So I will never doubt Ancelotti's tactics even though it is still too early to judge Real Madrid's strength next season because next season hasn't started yet.
Some people say that Ancelotti is poor in tactics so he doesn't use many tactics to make Madrid appear with many styles of play, fortunately Ancelotti has many talented and productive players so he doesn't need to use many tactics to make this team a good team, for him victory is the most important thing to get, I think he has a lot of tactics that many other coaches don't have, that's why he always surprises his opponents. next season Madrid will be the strongest team in the UCL because Mbappe is there and everyone agrees with that.

There is no doubt about Ancelotti's ability, he has brought Madrid to win many trophies, this is what makes it possible that he will bring Madrid to win the UCL again next season with Mbappe and the Madrid players in the current main squad, all their best players will compete to play as key players for that reason it will be interesting to see how their players compete to be key players and continue to be used to play, at least Madrid is not short of players if a key player is injured and Ancelotti can rotate his players well, he cannot be said to be tactically poor.  Cheesy

Mbappe is a great player and I'm sure Carlo Ancelotti is delighted to have him now. His rotation is quite wide right now. Considering that Arda Güler plays great in the wing position, they have a lot of options and a young average age. We can say that Ancelotti has established the squad for the next 5 years.
Maybe, maybe not they are yet to finalise it, they are used to having alot of talented players no doubt  and about the rotation , if I get it right I.e rotating mbappe for other player  which I don't  think it will be very possible  although  they might want to rest him but rotating  him frequently might not be very possible IMO but if it turns out to be true then I hope he adapt without losing  form ( don't  forget about hazard ,although his case was different..)
This is exactly what I have trying to highlight since, the fact that everyone is so keen on mbappe actually hitting it off as quick as possible is just something I have decided to keep an open view about because there is every possiblity that he might end up not living up to the expectations just like Eden harzard. But I see a slight option for ancelotti to actually play him upfront as he is already versatile striker and can adjust very fine there.
I don't believe that Mbappe will fall short at Real Madrid when the La Liga season starts. Just because Hazard failed to perform well at Real Madrid is not enough reason to say or think that Mbappe might perform the way Hazard did when he was still playing for Real Madrid. Mbappe is a young, talented player who knows how to put on a good performance and score goals for any club he is playing for. Mbappe will earn his respect at Real Madrid quickly because he is surrounded by players who can dominate a match and also create chances for their strikers to score goals.

Signing prominent young talents will make good ringing next season because Los Blancos squad is most significant among other oppositions. Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez is one of the top club's president that know exactly how to comprehend the formulation of a club and have delivered good positioning for the club. While on the other hand, Carlo Ancelotti will cook everybody next season, we should get ourselves ready for feast next season because Real Madrid have showed upon themselves to be up and running.
Well the expectations are high no doubt but it doesn't mean that  what is expected of them can't play out. If it's for squad balance then I think Madrid are well balance but that doesn't seem to be requirements of a successful season because they are some clubs that do have all the players and maybe injury can be a stumbling block for them and reduce their capability in achieving their goal.

-snip-
Liverpool didn't fire Jurgen Klopp because Klopp decided to retire himself so I think Liverpool still has a good relationship with Klopp. In my opinion, there is a possibility that Arne Slot will be selected because of Klopp's suggestion. For the first stage, Liverpool cannot hope to achieve good results in the UCL and EPL. Arne Slot also requires tactical adaptation to each Liverpool player. Every coach has a different way even though they have the same philosophy. In modern football I don't think big names make much of an impact. A coach must be able to adapt to various variations of tactics and watch replays of each opponent's game. I think a flexible coach is the coach Liverpool needs right now.
Usually there will be an impact after a change of coach at a club, Arne Slot inherited an established squad from Jurgen Klopp, he has a big responsibility to manage Liverpool like Jurgen Klopp once did. I didn't expect much from Arne Slot first season with Liverpool, he needed time to develop a strategy and get the players used to the tactics he used.
Liverpool who will appear in the UCL, will have a busy schedule, Arne Slot must be able to make Liverpool perform optimally in different competitions to get support and attention from club management for their performance. Arne Slot's experience with the previous team means he doesn't need too much time to improve Liverpool quality, he just needs to maintain Liverpool quality to provide competition in the EPL trophy hunt and reach the UCL semifinals in his first season.

In his first year in the Eredivisie, Arne Slot was neck and neck for the championship. In fact, Alkmaar was second on the same points as Ajax in the season that was cut short due to the pandemic. In his second season, he made Alkmaar third and in those years, Ajax, coached by Ten Haag, was doing very well not only in the Netherlands but also in Europe and it was very difficult to stand against Ajax. Despite this, Arne Slot had successful seasons. Arne Slot's success at Alkmaar opened the doors to Feyenoord and in his second year he made Feyenoord champions after 6 years.

Arne Slot's success attracted the attention of big clubs and he became the new manager of Liverpool after Kloop. For some it was an early choice, for others Liverpool made the best choice, for others it was Ten Haag 2. The reality is that a man who was in charge of the Eerste Divisie 7 years ago is taking over one of the oldest clubs. After Kloop, one of the club's legendary coaches. It's a big responsibility and a big risk. I hope Arne Slot will have a successful season with Liverpool.

Their inconsistency makes everything go wrong, they are always close to the top in both the domestic league and the UCL, they falter easily and don't seem to know what to do, occasionally losing and constantly going down.

It's difficult to expect Juventus, despite having Thiago Motta today because we have yet to see how Motta plays Juventus in the champions league, whether it will be much better than Alegri or not, but I hope that Juventus do give their best and they bring back the name that has long been dead from the eating wolves.

I'm not so skeptical about Atlético's chances, as we see with a successful draw even Dortmund can reach the final. Or if you look back, even Chelsea can take the title (at the same time taking only 4th place with 67 points in the Premier League). Many teams have a chance, but in the case of Atlético, first of all, it is not clear to me how long Simeone plans to stay there. It is obvious that the team has been deteriorating for several seasons in a row. Does he have any ideas to change something? He's been coaching Atlético for so long that I don't know how to answer this question.

I'm also asking this question to myself. When will Simeone leave this team? Nearly 13 years it has been... This sounds really strange as I don't see it very common.  Smiley  However it looks like Atletico Madrid doesn't simply want to let him go already. His contract has even been extended by them. Otherwise I don't think Simeone would be disappointed to part ways after all these years.

Indeed, there hasn't been much progress in the La Liga especially for the last 3 years. They can't rejoin the title competition anymore. I would like to see some change in their system, like playing more attacking rather than boring.  Grin

Juventus will soon start a new adventure after missing several seasons in the Champions League, they will also be led by a new coach to navigate increasingly difficult competition. It seems like there isn't much Juventus can do on the UCL stage with Thiago Motta, they are predicted to have difficulties when facing teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Inter Milan.

There were many processes that were challenges for Thiago Motta in his first season coaching Juventus, he needed to adapt the tactics he used with the Juventus players. Apart from that, players who are recruited also need to adapt to their new club. Thiago Motta's first season in the UCL will be a challenge for him, he will try to do his best for the club he cares for, but he will have difficulty getting Juventus to the final round.

Atletico's development tends to be slower because they seem to be gradually getting their best performance which makes them not to be underestimated.
In some seasons we can always see Atletico even look not like a big club at the beginning of the season but when it comes to mid-season even until the end of the season they always get stronger and stronger both in terms of defense and attack. That's what makes them a little more special because they always get their own proportion and share in every competition they run.

Indeed, something like this is not enough to make them one of the championship candidates especially for the Champions League but on the other hand they will always be troublesome in every season.
If I'm honest, I don't really like Simeone's scheme like this but this is what Atletico have always done in the last few seasons, especially after they managed to get the La Liga trophy in the 2020 season.

Atletico Madrid don't want to take risks by replacing Diego Simeone, so they will continue to keep him until Simeone gets bored of being at Atletico Madrid. Indeed, they are stable under Simeone's coaching, I mean they have not experienced a very significant decline that makes them have to drop out of the top 4 for example.
I can understand why Atletico Madrid are too "scared" to fire Simeone, because there is no guarantee that they will be better under the new coach. but the problem is that they will never know whether they will achieve success if they are in the hands of a new coach or not. Maybe they will be more successful with a new coach.
But this is definitely something difficult for them, because they must also consider everything before deciding whether they will keep Simeone or not. What is clear is that we will still see Atletico Madrid with their coach.

With the way so clubs are coming on board next season is going to be bad because the competitors will be prepared and the competition will no be based on who is the best not like the previous season and since everyone knows the relevance of performing in the Champions League they will want to showcase how good they are, and the clubs that did transfer window are going to be test running their new bloods during each game. Let's see what tactics the new Juventus coach will be coming with to the Champions League. Winning the Champions League is not child's play so when it gets to a stage that you can almost win it then you are good because you even crossing to the finals does not guarantee that you will win exactly what happened to Dortmund.

Since they are just coming back freshly it won't go smoothly at first but at the end of the day they should pick up quick, but if its about winning their is no way Juventus can win the Champions League, because since they have new spear parts they need to get use to competing with others because I noticed something in the Champions League you need to be good and also have experience the same time, and that is one good advantage that Madrid always uses.

Recently last several years ago Atletico Madrid performance not quit well in Champion League since reached the final round but beaten by Real Madrid, after the higher round achievement Atletico always failure every season their performance and eliminated early at knock out round or quarter final round. Diego Simeone still become Atletico Madrid head coach until right now and the management scare sack him although inconsistency performance not only in Champion League but also Atletico Madrid get downtrend performance in domestic league.

Seems not really has top performance for next season, Atletico Madrid just getting an opportunity qualifying to knock out round or reach quarter final is the highest round. La Liga team has inconsistency performance in Champion League only Real Madrid and next season has the new comer team Girona will get the same result such as Atletico Madrid just qualifying until 16 round only?

Anyway, Juventus has returned to the Champions League next season and with its new coach, Thiago Motta, is it possible that they will rise amidst increasingly difficult competition? We know that Juventus experienced difficult times in the Champions League and they almost won the Champions League many times but were very weak when they were in the top match.

I will not have full expectations from Juventus and they can start slowly because they need to adapt to the transition with their new coach. On the other hand, the new players who will be brought in will also mean that they still need a long process. I thought there would at least be a surprise even though it wouldn't have a big impact on their journey here.

Juventus who weren't able to qualify for any European competition last season will be playing in the UEFA Champions League next season under the guidance of their new manager Thiago Motta but I don't think it'll be a walk in the park for them because of the other top European teams that'll be participating in Europe's most prestigious competition come next season. For Thiago Motta, coaching Juventus in the Champions League will be a new challenge for him and considering his success rate at the moment, I think he'll do well with the Italian club but even when I'm not writing off a possibility of seeing Juventus win the UEFA Champions League title next season under Motta, I don't expect to go past the quarter final stage of the competition.
Thiago Motta I think will need a much longer time to build a very formidable Juventus team so they can be very competitive again and I don't think his first season with the club will be enough to achieve that.

Even if they wanted to replace Simeone, can they actually do it? We must remember that Simeone has been for the most part liked by his players, so if those at the top of Atletico Madrid fire him with no justification at all, then the players will get mad about it, they may underperform  to get the new coach fired or even ask for their release, so this is not an easy choice to make as I am sure that before any improvement could be seen, a massive drop on the performance of the team will be observed.

Real Madrid's performance will not decline next season either; they will gain more strength because of the presence of Mbappe, although even before Mbappe came in, they were doing very well. Furthermore, I think the Champions League will be very tough this season. Arsenal, Manchester City, and other teams will want to take down Real Madrid, which won’t be a difficult thing for them. But it will be too early to predict how teams will perform next season, so let’s watch and see.
