No one doubts Real Madrid in the Champion League competition, they are a team that has a very strong mentality so they often do many surprises even though their overall team performance is inconsistent.
And when compared to Bayern I think mentality is the reason Real Madrid is more favored and also Kompany the Bayern coach does not have sufficient experience, I agree with that.

Like I always say, football is full of surprises no doubt, anything is possible yea though we can't say what will happen at the end of the competition but my question is, does Bayern look like that team that can surprise people?

The most surprising thing was how Milan missed the opportunity to be in the top 8 in the last round with Dynamo Zarub, for whom this victory was very important, but despite the victory they were left out. Among the above games, any are capable of ending draw, i won't do the guess by taking much risk, i play safe instead.

Unfortunately I opted for a draw and made a solid mistake in the match played yesterday between PSV and Liverpool. I didn't think that Liverpool, the league leader, would allow PSV to win the match. Although it should be noted that Liverpool essentially used this match as a practice match.

The next round is just for the play off teams, teams that were positioned from 8th to 1st will be relaxing. Honestly, I can't wait for the teams that entered the Play Off session to start their matches in this competition again.

This new format of the champions league has once proven that England is the king of football in Europe. It remains the most competitive. Assuming that this season isn't a bad season for Pep Guardiola, we would have seen all England teams in the top 8 of the champions league.
But currently, England has 3 clubs in the top 8 of the league. Even Aston Villa that newly qualified for Champions league made it to the top 8.

AC Milan defense line is very bad, especially if we pay attention to the process of the first goal for Dinamo Zagreb advantage. I think the red card received by Yunus Musah at the end of the first half was another reason that made it difficult for AC Milan to win, although Sergio Conceicao squad managed to equalize at the beginning of the second half. Exactly you are very correct there is no need risking key players in a competition have already qualify meanwhile you have important game at hand we have always seen such in football though all most all the couches have this display in common they always show no seriousness when they know that if they win or not they have already qualify to the next level that's why betting such games don't always move me because at that moment I don't always have confidence in them because they might decide to gamble with the game, if you watched Manchester City game yesterday against club brugge you will see how serious they were because they needed a win to qualify for the knockout stage and they won with a better scoreline.

There is never a team that can be underestimated in the Champions League. So of course the king of the Champions League is one we never underestimate here. And yeah it's not surprising to see what Real Madrid can do in this competition. But still, sometimes surprises always come from other teams. The only surprise I see from Real Madrid this season is seeing Real Madrid having to fight very hard just to get a place in the play-off round. In fact, Real Madrid almost didn't make it to this stage if they didn't get up quickly in the last few matches in the Champions League. Fortunately, this team has improved quickly thanks to good squad depth and also thanks to the experience of the manager whose quality we can never doubt.

And Bayern could actually also be a team that could make a surprise here. Even if it is another small team. It's quite surprising because there are 3 out of 4 teams that qualify directly to the round of 16, and with one team, Man City, who will compete in the play-off round. And I'm pretty sure Man City will qualify for the round of 16, so all representatives from the English Premier League are likely to qualify for the round of 16.

And among the 4 teams I think only Liverpool is the most consistent, but unfortunately they lost in their last match so they failed to sweep all their matches in the Champions League qualifying round.
PSV Eindhoven surprisingly managed to stop Liverpool's winning record, a rain of goals occurred in the first half which gave PSV the advantage, while in the second half not a single goal was scored.

Real Madrid are ready to lose the league title just to win the champions league and that's why they're the highest club with the highest champions league title and it doesn't take them much time before they win the title again. Their performance in the last game prove that they weren't ready to leave the competition yet. Any club that ones to knock out Real Madrid, has to be ready to out play them and defend very well as Real Madrid has a very active attacking players that are ready to score you at anytime. Real Madrid game against Brest was a very dominated game by Real Madrid. They didn't allow Brest to score any goal and dominated the whole game.

You are right, teams like Lille and Aston Villa have fought quite well. This is a good challenge for them to develop better in the Champions League. But remember this is a competition that is quite stressful for any team to bring out all their abilities. And the teams in the play-offs do not mean weak teams, in fact we can say that we will see one of them in the final. For now, 8 teams can take a breath before going through a much tougher match.

Aston Villa and Lille are indeed very ambitious to finish in the top eight, their great efforts in the last match are proof that they do not want to have a tighter schedule because they are playing in the play-off round. Well, that's not surprising at all and I even predicted that Liverpool would do this in yesterday's match against PSV. So I missed my bet for that match. Because I already suspected that Liverpool would not play their best squad in that match. Because a more important match awaits Liverpool this week, namely against Bournemouth. Bournemouth is no longer a team to be underestimated this season. So Liverpool ensures that their best players get enough rest time and are better prepared for the Premier League match. After that Liverpool also have a semi-final match in the League Cup against Tottenham. So Liverpool made the right decision about resting their best players in yesterday's match.

This has always been the problem with Milan for quite some years, they often fail at crucial games but if it was just an ordinary game you see them winning comfortably. I know the red card Yunus Musah got affected the team's play but since Christian Pulisic equalized the score in the second half they could have held the draw till full time but immediately Pulisic levelled the score, it wasn't even up to 10 minutes when Dinamo Zagreb scored another goal and kept it till the game ended. The playoffs will really be difficult and it won't be easy for every team that found themselves in the playoff. If AC Milan meet Feyenoord or Juventus in the playoffs, it may be the end of their journey in the champions league because even as Feyenoord lost by a huge score to Lille yesterday, i can't forget how they trashed Bayern Munich to a 3:0 defeat last week so if they are to meet with AC Milan in the playoffs, the result may not favor Milan.

For a while, City really looked like they were out, and it would have been so shocking. I mean I know City fans would hate that, but world of football would have seen that as a talking point, something to discuss, all the haters would be happy, and all the supporters would be defending and it would have been more "fun" or entertaining.

We are obviously seeing something changing here, because City managed to get in, by the end of first half they were out, and I mean way out, up until that second goal, it looked like anything could happen and I am pretty sure that we would be doing much better, so it should be important that we are going to end up with a lot better results. We can't really consider this as a bad deal on them, they worked hard and gained their spot so they are doing fine. Of course now they have many more games, two extra games than they assumed at the start of the season I bet, because they probably thought they would be in top 8.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will not met early at playoff stages this because their status as favourite teams which according to the drawing rules the favourite teams will not met each other and playoff scheme is not so different liked knockout stages there is home and away matches and the winner will be determined based on the final aggregate

The winner on this stage will faced the teams who finish at top 8 and there is a potention big teams will met early because for drawing stages this time Juventus and Manchester City as underdog teams so they possibly will met other big teams such as Real Madrid or Bayern Munich
