Tonight four more interesting matches to watch. Personally I will be watching Feyenoord vs AC Milan Milan has a great opportunity tonight, the opponent is within their reach despite having made a good impression against the big European teams, a win against Bayern Munich and a draw against Manchester City. But Milan always transforms in the Champions League and I'm sure we will see a great match tonight. The only sore point for me, as an Italian, is that in Milan's starting 11 there isn't a single Italian on the pitch, which is a bad thing to see.

Interesting maybe when you are a fan of one of those teams, but the real game took place yesterday when Man City got defeated by Real Madrid. Today I am not so sure whether this is going to be all that exciting.

Brugge against Atalanta is somewhat interesting because Brugge had some good games in the league phase of the Champions League and I wonder whether they can confirm that one again in a knockout mode against a pretty good team like Atalanta.

Celtic should not be too big of a problem for Bayern Munich unless they have a game full of mistakes and Celtic can get some advantage from their home game. But usually this should not be in favor of Celtic.

Monaco against Benfica could have some goals I think and Feyenoord AC Milan is undecided for me as AC Milan has some problems and Feyenoord can be quite strong sometimes.

But what do you mean "the real match was yesterday?" Even tonight there are "real" matches, it's not only the big matches that are the real challenges but also everything else. I'm not a fan of any of the teams involved tonight, but that doesn't mean I don't find the matches played today interesting. I've always been an Inter supporter but I always hope that in the Champions League all the Italian teams go as deep as possible

As said in a previous post tonight Brugges would have won, and in fact in the 94th minute they scored on a penalty kick. I'm sorry for Atalanta but there is no need to despair, it is still possible for them to get through the round.

Club Brugge 1 Vs Atlanta 1, I actually underrated and underestimated Club Brugge in this encounter. Before now now I had thought Atlanta would be winning by like 3 goals before 90 minutes, I guess I was so wrong about Brugge, I guess I haven't really paid close attention to that team. They controlled the game way more than Atlanta.

The match actually ended 2:1 full time, with club brugge having 2 goals and Atlanta 1 goals.  that is why at times it is not good to under rate any team if we take a look at the match you will see that club Bruges,  there performance was really impressive so they actually deserve the winning . We look at the match analysis club bugged has 54%,ball possession while Atlanta 46%.let us just say luck was actually on the side of club brugge and I know so many people will lose their game because of this match even me, I was thinking Atlanta is going to win the match.

In such a crucial match, mentality is the main capital, Real Madrid has that so they don't bow down when they are behind. I don't know the real problem that happened to Manchester City so it was very difficult for them to get out of the pressure so we can see in some other matches they also still appear inconsistent.

Atlanta is showing class in this game even though they conceded early in the game they have found a way to come back in this game the second half will be decisive because Atlanta will like to get a win in this game I don't see this game in a draw because both teams needs a win in this game

It is hard to believe that in the end Atalanta had to lose this match, where even though in the first half Atalanta managed to equalize, and was able to maintain a draw until the match almost ended, but at the end of the match the Atalanta players lost their consistency and made a little carelessness which made Club Brugge get a penalty and in the end the match ended with a score of 2-1, because Nilsson was able to execute the penalty well and became a goal advantage for Club Burgge.

It has been a long time since the two teams have met, and the last time in the same competition AC Milan met Feyenoord was in the 2002/03 season and in that meeting AC Milan got an unpleasant result because they had to lose to Feyenoord. And now the two teams meet again in the Champions League playoff round.

Although in this match Feyenoord will appear as the host, of course AC Milan is the most favored to be able to win this match.

It is obvious that this penalty decision will be discussed a lot. As far as I can see, I don't think there was a penalty, but I wonder why VAR didn't call the referee to review the position? If you made a wrong decision, it can be turned into a correct decision with VAR. However, we saw in this match that Atalanta conceded an unfair goal. It was a critical mistake on the part of Club Brugge, who had an advantage for the return leg.

It wasn’t easy for Manchester City; they were struggling to make things possible in that match, and that was too bad for them. The game was an important match for them to win, although I wasn’t expecting Manchester City to perform this poorly, although I understand in this kind of match, mentality and experience matter a lot because that’s what will get them what they want, but it’s unfortunate that Manchester has both and is still struggling to score or win the match.

I mean, why is that too hard for them to be good again? I remember Real Madrid started with an inconsistent performance, but currently they are regaining their performance back. I mean, why are Manchester City still finding it difficult to do the same? Even when the season is in this stage, they are still struggling.

It seems that most bettors will bet on Atalanta including me, but what happened was disappointment because they certainly did not expect Club Brugge to win this match and beat a team as great as Atalanta. But as we saw in this match Club Brugge played quite well and also dominated the match.

And the penalty kick for Club Brugge in extra time at the end of the match was quite lucky, and I saw Atalanta players protesting loudly because they considered the touch was not included in the category of violations, but the referee stuck to his decision and this is football anything can happen and Atalanta must atone for it in the second leg later at their home.

By the way, the score of the Monaco vs Benfica match was still 0-0 in the first half.

Real Madrid was the more active team throughout the match. They attacked more and played more. Although Manchester City took the lead twice, Real Madrid managed to win the match. Especially in the third goal, the City defense made a big mistake. Real Madrid did not forgive this mistake. That is why Real Madrid is the team that goes to Spain with an advantage. In my opinion, they will not lose to Manchester City in Spain either. The team that will advance will probably be Real Madrid.

The decision of the referee to award such penalty is already making most people to distrust the credibility of the VAR in the champions League like most people expected the VAR to have called the attention of the referee to verify his decision before allowing Club Brugge to take that penalty but seeing how nothing was done in that regard says a lot about what the system has become. Club Brugge is ahead they have the advantage after the first leg but it is left for Atalanta to take advantage of their home advantage in the second leg to ensure they defeat Club Brugge and progress to the next stage.

Real Madrid never give up on their match no matter what the score is that was why they continued to push on against Manchester City despite being one goal down. Their perseverance paid of even though it may appear that they won the match by luck because the last goal which was the winning goal was a mistake from Manchester City defenders. I actually never expected Manchester City to be this tough to win base on how badly they have been performing this season. The match was interesting despite that many people felt disappointed at the English side. 

They never give up just because of this peoples love and enjoy their games and have love for them while in last game I was also sure about their lost but suddenly just few minutes and all Etihad were stun after the goal form Jude Bellingham which give them historic win and now better chance of going into next round.

Manchester City took lead two time with Haaland done good job and keeping things in touch, but Real Madrid as team were at their best in second half while in last few minutes of the game things were all under their control which give defeat to overconfidence Manchester City now this could be big lesson for Citizens which were chanting for their Ballon d or trophy. Now 2nd leg game could be more tense because Manchester City could be tried to overcome this defeat and things could be not easy for Real Madrid which will play at home and try to keep thing under control for having spot into round of 16.

Real Madrid's statistics are clearly much different from Manchester City's so Real Madrid won not because of luck.

Expected Goals Manchester City also lost to Real Madrid because Manchester City was only 1.60 while Real Madrid 3.30.

My Monaco bet looks likely to lose. Both Benfica took the lead 0-1 and Musrati, who was playing for Beşiktaş in Turkey, received a second yellow card for his objection and received a red card, leaving his team with 10 men.
Even when it was 11 against 11, Monaco could not score a goal. It's very difficult when you're like this. I expect Monaco to win and score more than 2.5 goals, but I feel like I will wait longer because it seems like a miracle that something like that happens😔

I was expecting so many goals from Real Madrid in the match, but the match wasn’t so easy for Real Madrid, but the match was just kind of difficult for Real Madrid but they were able to secure a win in the match. I wasn’t really surprise that Real Madrid were able to secure a win in the match, I knew Madrid will win the match, since Manchester city performance has been so poor.

Let’s see how the two teams are going to perform in the second leg of the match, but we all know that the second leg won’t really be easy for Manchester city, they will be playing at Real Madrid home, so the match is just going to be easy for Real Madrid, and they were able to win at Etihad Stadium, which is an advantage for Real Madrid.

I don't understand why you underestimated Club Brugge, I guess you didn't watch their matches with M.City or the matches they played in their own league. Club Brugge is a really good team, they play teamwork. They don't have a star player but I don't think it's necessary.

Real Madrid's victory was also obvious before the match, because it is now that they are in crazy form where they are very difficult to stop. Manchester City came up against them extremely bad this season, but they played decently, conceding just one goal, so this match showed that Real are not as strong now as it seemed. We'll see what happens in the second match, but I think Real will go further ahead

Well in this match Madrid has got a really tough mentality along side the fact that they have got some really good experience. In the Champions League, although city too have some good level fo experience but then their mentality wasn't  really solid enough to get them the a win to stay ahead of their opponent,  their performance shows they obviously have a weak defence and mentality because they were good goal ahead but still lost.

Today's round is almost over, still a few minutes left in 3 of the games.
The only concluded one was a surprise win of Club Brugge over Atalanta (2-1). I thought the Italian team would be the dominating side, but it was a fairly even game and Club Brugge won by a penalty in additional time. I still think Atalanta has more chances to go through, I'm confident they'll do much better at home.

The other surprise is Feyenorrod leading 1-0 against AC Milan, the only goal (so far) was scored by Paixao, who made a shot from outside the penalty area and the ball found its way to the net because of Milan's goalkeeper's poor intervention (the pouring rain didn't help).
