Konyaspor won 2-3 away against Kasımpaşa last week. Even though Galatasaray had a hard time at home, they won 2-1 against Hatayspor.
Tonight, the two teams that completed the first week with a victory will face each other in Konya.
I think Konyaspor will not lose the match. He may even leave the field with a victory. Because next week Galatasaray has a play off match in the Champions League and the players' minds will be on the match.
The first match will be a difficult match away against Young Boys.

What does this have to do with the Turkish Super League 24/25 season?

In the opening match of the week, Galatasaray beat Konyaspor in a moderately difficult away match. Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who was rumored to leave the team, was the man of the match with 1 goal and 1 assist and brought his team 3 points. Will his transfer still happen after this performance? Barış Alper Yılmaz also scored in the league after the Euro 2024 fiasco. He scored after a long break. Konyaspor was the more dominant side in the match but the guest team scored the goals.

We won against Konyaspor today and I'm happy with getting 3 points here.    However as for our performance... I don't have positive words to say honestly. We gave big goal chances to our competitor quite often.

We should be better than this in defense line. If we had a more capable competitor we wouldn't be able to win probably. By the way wasn't the foul decision on Icardi's goal by VAR a little debatable?

Even though Galatasaray had a hard time away against Konyaspor, they were the side that got the three points and will go into the Young Boys match with higher morale with this win. While we thought the first half of the match would end 0-0, Galatasaray scored with Kerem and made the score 0-1. 5 minutes after this goal, Konyaspor scored and made the score 1-1.
However, Kerem had a small mistake in the goal scored by Konya.
The breaking point of the second half was when Konya failed to score in the goal area, and immediately after this position, Galatasaray made the score 1-2. I think Barış Alper scored a good goal.

I agree with you. Galatasaray didn't play well. But Galatasaray knew how to win even when they played badly. The important thing in games like this is to win. Because at the beginning of the season, teams cannot reach their full performance. I liked Kerem's performance in yesterday's match. Also, Icardi and Torreira played very well. The new transfers have not yet adapted to the team. But we spent a lot of money for Sara and Jelert. I expect them to contribute to the team as soon as possible. If they play like Kerem, Icardi and Torreira, we will start to get comfortable wins.

both teams used a 4-2-3-1 formation in last night's match, they wanted to control the midfield as we can see Galatasaray failed with the formation they applied so that their performance was bad, and the opportunities created were not completed properly, the same as what Konyaspor did even though statistically they had more opportunities but could not take advantage of them. from here we see both teams, both their defensive and attacking lines, played badly. this must be fixed immediately by both coaches respectively

Konyaspor wasted too many chances. It is absolute goal opportunities that I'm talking about. Galatasaray defense has weaknesses obviously. We saw Gabriel Sara in the starting 11. I wonder how long it will take him to adapt.

It is completely the team's fault. They should have signed him earlier to have him ready for new season already. Their policy hasn't been good this summer and it will continue to be criticized most probably. For now, Galatasaray are still winning at the end of the day. Konyaspor team played well in this match and it was ahead i. Two players did back to back goals and they make sure the win of the team. Aleksić did excellent gaol in this  match and he did gaol at crucial time when team needed and after that opponent team seemed to be in pressure and they could not stop next gaol. M. U. Nayir took benefit from the Aleksić player because he made match and bent the match to their side and before the gaol of him, his team was going to lose the lose the match but he saved the team from winning. They have to stop good strike and they won the match easily by 3-2 .

The performance by Galatasaray was truly disappointing. Konyaspor is a relatively weak team. As you have said, their passing is very weak, and no good defense. But the team which scores more at the end of the match is the winner. Galatasaray came out as the winner in this match. But their upcoming matches won’t be this easy.

Their upcoming match is against Young Boys which is the qualifier for Uefa Champions League. So that much is very crucial if they want to play in the Uefa Champions League. Young Boys is also far better than Konyaspor, so they won’t be able to get away with the mediocre performance they did against Konyaspor. They might be top of the league in Super Lig, but they can’t go far with this performance.

After a painful defeat to Besiktas in the Super Cup Final, Galatasaray managed to recover by winning two Super Lig matches in a row against Hatayspor and Konyaspor in the second week, but what was interesting in these two matches was that they were able to win the match with the same score ( 2-1), so we can judge that currently Galatasaray has a pretty good attack line and is able to create lots of opportunities, but on the other hand, the conceded goals that occurred in two super lig matches and also the super cup final against Besiktas are a sign that their defense still needs to be improved.

Fenerbache has been Galatasaray biggest rival in the Super Lig competition, although in the last few seasons Fenerbache has failed to beat Galatasaray but I think this season we might see a different Fenerbache after Mourinho handled them, defeat in the Champions League should not be a reason for us to underestimate Fenerbache in the Super Lig, because after all Fenerbache main focus at the moment is to restore their glory in the domestic league, while the Champions League is of course still very far from their hands to achieve at this time.

I only watched the highlights, I do not watch full games outside of premier league but I do bet on teams outside of premier league so I watch the highlights of the teams I bet on, and Galatasaray/Fenerbahce are two teams I wager here, from the highlights it looks like Galatasaray played alright? Maybe outside of highlights they didn't look good at all, but during the highlights it looked like they did alright, so I think it should not be something that would be seen there.

At highlights it looked like they missed some good chances and could have scored more, and even the goal that was disallowed look like a legal goal, I disagree with the refs decision there. I do agree that passing doesn't look accurate enough, but not like they are playing City style football anyway.

Fenerbahçe played an up and down game against Göztepe today. After failing to make effective attacks in the first half, Fenerbahçe started the second half comfortably with two goals in the last minutes of the first half. Fenerbahçe played a more effective game in the second half and kept trying to find the third goal, but they couldn't find it. When Fenerbahçe couldn't find the third goal, they started to feel the pressure and then the tension in the stands broke the atmosphere of the team.

We can't ignore Mourinho's bad decisions in this match. Mourinho made mistakes from the beginning of the game and he didn't have the same lineup as he had at Fenerbahçe. İrfan Can not playing against Göztepe was a huge fiasco. It was shocking that Dzeko, who ran out of batteries, played 90 minutes.
