Galatasaray, after their recent failures, barely won a match today, I hope Okan Buruk and the players will come to their senses a bit. I'm not sure what Okan Buruk is trying to do. Icardi can't run, he saw it in the last Rigas match, I don't understand why he keeps him on the field for long minutes. I'm sure the team wouldn't have had such a hard time today if he had played Batshua instead of Icardi.

Indeed, Besiktas opponent today is only Gaziantep which is lower team with inadequate strength if competing with Besiktas but this will be an important match for Besiktas to continue to win and be able to maintain its position in the competition for place in the standings with as many points as possible, they also still have postponed match.

Although Gaziantep is a weaker team and it is in relegation zone, Gaziantep played quite well today. They could force Besiktas to share point, the match ended up with a draw. Besiktas failed to get full points, Besiktas failed to shorten the point gap with Galatasaray. Galatasaray itself is currently temporarily at the top of the standings and will face Alanyaspor and this is home game for Galatasaray so they are still very likely to win even though Alanyaspor is not team that can be underestimated.

Everyone must predict that it will be an easy match for Galatasaray. In reality, Galatasaray almost failed to win although they really dominated the match. They only could score 1 goal, Yunus Akgün becomes the hero of Galatasaray today. You're right, Alanyaspor can't be underestimated, they really made Galatasaray players difficult to score goals.

Galatasaray's game is not promising. If Okan Buruk can't pull off a miracle with the players he has at his disposal, Galatasaray could be out of the title race early this year. Defensively the team is alarming. There is no connection between the midfield and the offense and there is no one in the team who can make plays. They are constantly looking for goals with inefficient crosses from the wings. Gabriel was the only player whose play I liked the most today. Galatasaray is being managed by Okan Buruk with the wrong system this year. Galatasaray's squad depth is not enough to take the league and Europe together.

I wasn't impressed with the way they have been playing but they still have alot of time to make amends and become the favourites to win the league. Victor Osimhen is injured therefore he isn't available to help the team but he'll be back soon and this will bring more fire to the team as they're playing better when Victor Osimhen returns. Galatasary played against Alanyaspor and won but it was the scoreline that isn't looking good as they were only able to score just one goal. Although they won the game but they need to score more as that'll make them to be able to kill games faster and not be playing with fear in the last minute of the game.

In my opinion, what is happening with Galatasaray is the following: since they were champions in recent seasons, the coach is not under pressure, the club's management will not be pressuring the coach to also be champion this season. It is difficult for a team to be champion for many seasons and with points far above the rest of the teams. And the Galatasaray management knows this. That is why for this season the coach will be doing whatever he wants, he will not be fired. I also think that there is an excess of confidence on the part of the Galatasaray coach in certain players, he looks at certain players as if they were more important to the team and that they should play more.

The fact is that even if Galatasaray doesn't play well, it's clear that they don't have an opponent of the same level in the League, just look at the table:

I have seen a few matches in this league where it clear that Galatasaray strength and hard work are quite good. Only 1 goal was scored in this match which was a win for Galatasaray and the points were taken after the win. If they play well, they work hard.  And they don't play like other players. They have put some thought into it and they have done it very smart and diligently. They should also work hard and become good players by watch the hard work and progress of other players. Every player has flaws that are correct over time. Nothing can happen to them neither they work hard nor win match. We understand that some matches are follow by loss but loss are follow by loss and these matches are not wins.

He wins in the league but his deficiencies show up in European matches. His wrong decisions lead to point losses. Without the power behind them in the league, Okan Buruk would have been fired long ago.

A big defeat in the Super Cup and a poor performance in European competitions can be an indicator that there is something to improve in terms of strategy, but I don't think it can be a reference for us to say that Okan Buruk is a bad coach , because after all there is a time when a team is at their lowest level and it happened to galatasaray at the beginning of the season, But I think Galatasaray revival after the defeat deserves our appreciation and the proof is that they are still unbeaten in the league to date, Galatasaray have so far played two matches in the Europa League with 1 win and also 1 draw, I think your reference says if Okan Buruk is a bad coach of course based on their failure to maintain the victory over RFS,  but don't we also have to see how solid their game was when facing Paok in the previous Europa League?

Did they really play well? I don't think so honestly. I really don't like my team lately.    We are giving big spaces in our defense and making insane mistakes. This was really likely to end in a draw also. We were really lucky Serdar Dursun couldn't score a 100% goal chance in the last moments. But luck wouldn't always be beside us of course.

I think the reason why for Barış Alper is his being fatigued. I agree about Yunus. He has started to play really extra and he is definitely filling Kerem Aktürkoğlu's place well.  

By the way I don't know why Balkovec wasn't sent off. He faked his fall to win a penalty. He should have got the 2nd yellow there.

Mentioning these players, they're all been trying so hard to keep uplift standards when it comes to their performance, they completely handled their technical qualities and obtaining for straight winnings. Defeats and winnings are both interesting stats to observed in a league. These clubs have total points to accumulate but they just have to portray their very best performance, knowing when to abstract full winnings. Galatasaray is my favorite club when it comes to Turkish league because they've maintain their top heights this season, always available to top up their targets this season.

I don't think Barış Alper's situation is related to his tiredness, he has been bad since the beginning of the season. He can't fully focus on the game.

Barış is also interfered with when Barış Alper heads the ball, a penalty could have been given here, a penalty was given in the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray match.

Nobody understood why Balkovec didn't see a red card anyway.

If you look at their previous match record, you will know that Galatasaray is not such a weak team.  His team won 6 matches and drew 2, his goal seems to be bigger, now who can know his thinking. Why do they play so little time? Changing sides and losing a match because of a player is not a new thing.

No, it is not such a thing if they should not play well in the match but they have scored 1 goal by which they win the match.  But you can guess from the way they have won difficult matches.Their players are not good but they can give other players a chance.  The players you mentioned are really just playing, not playing well at scoring goals.They will gradually improve themselves and there are experienced players in this team who will teach them how to play well.They will play well in the next matches and win the match, if they lose the match then they will be accused of playing badly.

I didn't watch the full match between Alanyaspor and Galatasaray but the 8-minute highlight of the game gave a glimpse of the match. The conclusion is that Galatasaray's performance has declined to a large extent. The was no flow of communication between the attackers and they have slightly solved their defensive problems. Ertugrul Taskiran Alanyaspor's goalkeeper was indeed outstanding saving eight shots but the host should have done more. I might be wrong but I just feel that Victor Osimhen is the perfect striker for Galastaray and his absence is showing. He has the drive to scare defenders into making costly blunders. 

But it is great to see that the defence has improved. Muslera was just on holiday with no save while the defence blocked about five shots. But there was also a slight guffing by the defenders that would have caused a goal. Defenders shouldn't assume that a tackle is a foul until they hear the whistle from the referee.

Galatasaray managed to get a win at home against Alanyaspor who have quite an interesting head to head record with Galatasaray. Yanus Akgün’s goal in the twenty seventh minute of the game was enough to secure a win for Galatasaray without the Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen. This is a good result for Gala and step forward in boosting their chances at the title this season.

In the Europa League match against RFS, Osimhen was already absent and Galatasaray couldn't win either, in both matches the defense didn't play their best and that prevented them from winning. Osimhen was out for 6 weeks, that's quite a long period, but they won the match against Alanyaspor without Osimhen and didn't concede a single goal.

After having promotion in 2023 Samsunspor having 13th spot with 11 wins and 43 points which is normal for any team which have promotion but in this season they are giving much better and having 6 wins from their 8 games, and they are currently at the second spot as they Besiktas and Fenerbahçe both are had one match in hand, but their quality is good which can give them good chance of having better spot in this season but as you mentioned they need consistency which is important for the clubs if they want to have good end of their season.

Next game against Fenerbahçe is important as both teams are looking for win and most chances Fenerbahçe can handle them better with their strong squad and much better quality which is surely still having chance of staying into top two spots in this season while recently they face problematic results which are not good.
