How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash?

Another week in the crypto world and another red month for Bitcoin, this is now 6 red months in a row and only the 2nd time that has happened since 2018.

Never has there been 7 red months in a row but i think there will be this time as there just feels like no hope currently with the war going on etc.

I am just holding, expecting Bitcoin to go down to $60k in the coming weeks and when it does thats when ill buy more.

I keep seeing many say we will not bottom until October, i hope we do not have to wait that long but lets see.

We are now exactly 6 months since the Bitcoin $126k high in October and if this is a bear market like normal cycles then at least we are half way through it now.

Many are saying we wont bottom till October and im prepared to wait till then if we have to but hoping it will be a few months earlier maybe around July.

Pretty boring times for crypto last few months but as they say you buy when its boring not when its all pumping.

Honestly speaking I think you’re speculating about the price of bitcoin and you should also consider to focus more on buying and holding bitcoin, nobody will know when we are going to have a new ATH, what we should be mostly investing now is buying more bitcoin and stacking more bitcoin into our portfolio which is also a very sustainable way of making more bitcoin investment is by buying through the DCA and it’s widely appreciated by so many individuals, so I’m not really interested in what bitcoin is right now but I’m more interested in stacking bitcoin because I’m more interested in long term investment and not short term investment.

Bitcoin at $78k does not interest me.

Many are saying we are still in a 4 year cycle and this current bear market will last till October and if that's the case then Bitcoin will go below $60k again and that is when I will buy.

If it doesn't go below $60k then I will just stick to my top altcoins, the likes of Solana, Hbar etc will see better returns next few years compared to Bitcoin so id rather be in them.

This is not a time for us to feel too bad when the market is falling, instead we should see it as an opportunity for us to accumulate by buying the deep and holding, we cannot continue to be seeing the market rise every time without having the time for the fall as well, because its going to grant the opportunity for those intending to invest to come in and buy so they can hold and be profitable when the market pump begins.

I am well used to it by now, this thread is almost 2 years old.

We are almost 7 months into this bear market, hopefully we only have a few months left before we bottom and move up again.  I am expecting at least one more crash back down to around $60k again next few months so just preparing for then to buy more cheap.

You’re spot on, whenever you see bitcoin dropping you should be rest assured that other cryptocurrencies and altcoins are also going to drop drastically, anyways like you have said it doesn’t feel good in any way that this altcoins keeps dropping while bitcoin is also dropping.

However you should be very pragmatic about altcoin accumulation, so you don’t end up loosing a huge amount of money, because I don’t trust altcoins at all, when a cryptocurrency depends on a particular coin to thrive then you must know that something is absolutely wrong somewhere.

Not all altcoins are bad/ risky.

Just stick to top altcoins and you will be fine, the likes of Solana, Hbar, and others in the current top 20 they will see bigger returns compared to Bitcoin next few years.

Every market crash is an opportunity, but then we need to be very careful which coin we jump on the low price ers because some of those coins lack the mechanism to pick up again once their fall, if you want to take advantage of any market downtime, you should focus more on the projects that have long term potential and that Current market downturn is considerably a temporary set back in price and will follow up when the entire crypto market starts to recover again.

Has now been exactly 7 months since the $126k high for Bitcoin.

If this is a normal bear market, at least we only have 4-5 months left of it.

Time is going quick and i am just holding for now as expecting one more drop back down to around $60k again and that is when i plan to buy.

Bitcoin has had a good 6 weeks hitting $82k yesterday, but most alts haven't moved yet.
